So I was bored and decided to do the Cattell 16 Factor Test for all my Dragon Age OCs from Origins.

Rae Cousland’s (Human noble) results are under the cut if you are curious.

Warmth- 90%, so KIND. Just wants the best for everyone.

Intellect- 78%, very smart. Ignorant on some things, but is always willing to learn.

Emotional Stability- 38%, after Howe’s betrayal, Rae was distraught and it was hard for her to focus on anything but her deep rage and grief for what happened there.

Agressiveness- 58%, tries not to be assertive/agressive unless the situation calls for it.

Liveliness- 54%, used to be a lot more fun-loving but after her family arling was lost, it was very hard to stay her easy-going self.

Dutifulness- 38%, questions everything. Too curious for her own good sometimes. As well as rebellious oh Maker.

Social Assertiveness- 58%, knows how to commandeer a conversation and makes sure to use the right words to get her where she needs to go.

Sensitivity- 90%, she used to let things roll right off her back but after everything that happened, it’s hard to shake it off as much.

Paranoia- 50%, it’s a 50-50 on whether or not she’ll trust you. She’s a bit more guarded now and tries not to let that rule her, but sometimes it does.

Abstractness- 86%, imaginative and creative, sees the world through a different pair of eyes compared to her peers. This has earned her a lot of disapproval from the other nobles.

Introversion- 54%, she was more of an extrovert before she became a Grey Warden, but the situation at hand has made it harder for her to open up. It’s possible to do it, it just takes a bit longer.

Anxiety- 90%, nervous, nervous, nervous!! How could she not be? Her whole world has turned upside down and just keeps turning whether she likes it or not. She just has to keep adjusting and adapting and has no time to just…stop and mourn all that she’s lost.

Openmindedness- 58%, does her best to see all perspectives and sometimes that doesn’t always happen. She doesn’t know everything and so sometimes she makes big mistakes, but she tries her damnedest to fix them when she does.

Independence- 50%, she had gotten so used to be around people that it was a little odd to be by herself most of the time. Every decision was on her, and as much as she didn’t mind having a little more freedom, it was a bit scary.

Perfectionism- 62%, tries her very best to do things the way she believes is right. It doesn’t means she always is, but she tries to nonetheless.

Tension- 34%, VERY stressed and anxious, having Alistair helps a little but-not everything truly heals with time when there is no time to heal.

Oluska Brosca’s (Casteless dwarf) results are under the cut if you are curious about them!

Warmth- 70%, supportive and comforting but doesn’t coddle.

Intellect- 26%, relies mostly on instinct due to growing up in Dust Town.

Emotional Stability- 18%, moody and bitter. Brosca’s not very good with sharing how they feel, they are more an action speak louder than words type.

Agressiveness- 90%, assertive and dominant. Growing up they had to be. To survive and protect their family.

Liveliness- 90%, very go with the flow and adaptable. Being freed from their life of crime made them a bit more wild too.

Dutifulness- 14%, VERY anti-authority. Doesn’t like answering to anyone and believes that their life is their to live however they see fit. Sod what anyone else thinks.

Social Assertiveness- 18%, Oluska is very withdrawn and not a very sociable person since they didn’t have any friends growing up besides their sister.

Sensitivity- 38%, Oluska is a very reserved person, they keep to their own and aren’t easily offended. The slurs and rocks thrown at them in Dust Town were worse than whatever these humans can throw at them.

Paranoia-86%, they are very wary and mistrustful. Trusting someone could mean you ended up dead, survival over anyone else.

Abstractness- 54%, somewhat strange for a dwarf of their background, coming up to the surface changed their mind on a lot of things.

Introversion- 90%, EXTREMELY introverted. They only had their sister and their abusive mom growing up so they didn’t really have friends or anyone to turn to so that made them a bit withdrawn from others.

Anxiety- 62%, thinks back on their past but doesn’t let that stop them. Much anyways. They have a job to do.

Openmindedness- 38%, is very set in their ways and many of their old habits are hard to break after spending so many years as a smuggler or a petty criminal.

Independence- 90%, VERY independent. They had to be, no one was going to do their job for them let alone help them.

Perfectionism- 22%, Messy and unorganized. They’ve never had enough stuff to make much of a mess anyways.

Tension- 62%, tries not to carry the weight of their past with them but it can be hard some days.

Kaden Tabris’ (City elf) results are under the cut if you are curious.

Warmth- 90%, so kind and sweet. Cares so much for his family and friends.

Intellect- 58%, as smart as he could be growing up in an elven Alienage in Denerim. He seeks to gain more knowledge during his travels as a warden being the curious soul he is.

Emotional Stability- 58%, he tries his best to keep his cool but some situations call for outrage and being agressive.

Agressiveness- 50%, it depends on the situation, he knows how to pick his battles and when it’s appropriate to stay his hand or not.

Liveliness- 46%, leaving his home the way he did and all the injustice he faced there has made him a bit more quiet and not as fun loving as he used to be.

Dutifulness- 46%, the Alienage was just a way the shems in Denerim could keep “the knife ears” out of their “lovely” capital. He hated being there and wished nothing more than to start a rebellion for equality but it’s hard when no one else agrees with you or is too scared to start anything.

Social Assertiveness- 54%, tries to be domineering but it’s hard to be when all your life you were seen as lesser and that your opinion meant nothing to anyone.

Sensitivity- 78%, he is a sensitive bean. He wants nothing more than to be treated as an equal and for everyone he loves to be as well. It hurts when people look down on him.

Paranoia- 62%, he tries his best to judge people off of their actions and how they treat him but it’s hard to trust when so many people have betrayed it before.

Abstractness- 70%, a strange elf stuck in his day dreams. He often is caught mid-conversation being pulled away from a daydream; his mind wandered into another thought and got carried away enough that it caught his attention fully rather than the person talking.

Introversion- 78%, he’s a bit more reserved than most due to where he grew up and the things he has seen but he’s friendly if you strike up a nice conversation.

Anxiety- 82%, this poor boy is so nervous about everything. He’s not used to people looking to him for answers and often find himself scrambling to find the right one.

Openmindedness- 74%, tries to keep an open mind about almost everything, but some things are just plain WRONG. No matter what kind of moral compass you have.

Independence- 46%, is a very social person if you get to know him. Growing up in a community so small that everyone knew everyone, it was hard not to find a least one person to talk to.

Perfectionism- 50%, tries his best to make things nice and orderly but if it cannot be done, it cannot be done. He knows when to throw in the towel.

Tension- 34%, given everything that has happened in his life, he’s pretty relaxed about it all (on the outside that is). Dwelling on stuff will make it harder for him to help his family back home.

Felduran Aeducan’s (Dwarf noble) results are under the cut if you are curious.

Warmth- 86%, just wants everyone to be happy and for there to be peace for once by the Ancestors is that TOO MUCH TO ASK?

Intellect- 50%, not the smartest person out there but dang it he tries to stay educated on things. Some things are just really hard for him to grasp.

Emotional Stability- 50%, everything has a time and place and he makes sure that it is the time and place for him to show certain emotions.

Agressiveness- 66%, he knows how to use his aggression strategically due to his training as a warrior. Otherwise, he’s very peaceful.

Liveliness- 70%, very happy go lucky despite everything and as kind as he can be given the situations he’s thrown into.

Dutifulness- 50%, not very traditional, more of a reformist for most of the things Orzammar has in place but not everything needs to be overhauled.

Social Assertiveness- 82%, SUPER outgoing. As a noble, you have to be. Domineering conversations in your favor is part of being a noble down in Orzammar after all.

Sensitivity- 58%, some things get to him but he’s pretty good at keeping his composure and not letting his emotions rule him.

Paranoia- 66%, can be mistrustful due to where he grew up and the betrayal of his brother.

Abstractness- 66%, he’s a bit of an odd dwarf and thinks often about the possibilities and outcomes of certain situations.

Introversion- 62%, he’s more reserved around certain people but if you get close enough to him, he’s the life of the party.

Anxiety- 78%, after Behlen’s betrayal, it was hard not to be nervous when making decisions, he was worried that he’d get hurt all over again. And who could blame him really.

Openmindedness- 54%, he tries to be open-minded but some things he just doesn’t understand. He lived a very sheltered life and the dwarven way was the only way he knew that existed. He doesn’t think those other ways are wrong, he just didn’t know they existed really.

Independence- 54%, growing up he was waited on hand and foot. Much to his chagrin, but he had grown accustomed to a certain life, he was used to people being around him and talking to him and treating him like he was important because he was. So coming to the surface and having no one…it was hard to adjust.

Perfectionism- 62%, tries to make things as close to perfect as he can. He used to do so to make his father proud but now…he does it because it’s the only comfort he has.

Tension- 50%, he tries to stay as neutral and level-headed as possible. Sometimes that doesn’t work well, but he tries his best.

Cadence Amell’s (Circle mage [Human]) results are under the cut if you are curious.

Warmth- 90%, such a kind and gentle girl, all she wanted was for everyone to be happy and treated equally.

Intellect- 86%, SO SMART and constantly learning. She loves learning new things. It delights her to no end.

Emotional Stability- 38%, not very stable after the whole Jowan thing. That and she grew up in a place that told her that she was a sin in the eye of the Maker for having magic and she should hate herself for it.

Agressiveness- 46%, she tries to hold her ground but when speaking with people with more authority, she tends to shut down and isn’t able to get her point across.

Liveliness- 58%, she tries to be a more happy and easy-going person but it’s hard when you didn’t have a lot of friends.

Dutifulness- 18%, screw the templars, the chantry, AND the Circle. They’ve abused her and told her that magic was meant to be used as a tool for other people to abuse as they please. She is NO ONE’S puppet to control.

Social Assertiveness- 46%, again, she tries to be more assertive in social situations but it’s very hard for her. Especially when she feels that person has more power over her.

Sensitivity- 74%, takes things VERY personal. All her life she has due to the awful things people would say to her face and behind her back.

Paranoia- 58%, after the Jowan and Lily incident…she became a lot more mistrustful of people (not that she wasn’t already). But she’s smart, she knows that not everyone is out to get her despite what her brain says.

Abstractness- 90%, she’s a day-dreamer 100%. It’s hard to believe she made it through all the apprentice training with how much time she spent creating a better world in her head. But then again, magic was very easy for her to master.

Introversion- 90%, SUPER introverted and extremely hard to get to know, but once you do, she’s the most loyal friend you could ever ask for.

Anxiety- 82%, SOOOOOOO Scared about making desicions. The Circle’s teachings as well as the chantry’s made her second-guess everything.

Openmindedness- 86%, very understanding and keeps a very open mind about almost everything.

Independence- 70%, She’s used to doing things alone but if she has to, she will work well with others.

Perfectionism- 62%, does her best to do everything the way she deems is correct but her brain makes her doubt herself a lot and it’s hard to move past it.

Tension- 30%, worried, anxious, self-deprecating, this poor girl has been through a lot of trauma and has had a lot of trouble moving past it.

Aeron Surana’s (Circle mage [elf]) results are under the cut if you are curious.

Warmth- 86%, So kind and gentle. He tries to be anyways, it’s hard when no one really likes you.

Intellect- 90%, this boy is SMART. Oh my god. So smart 10/10.

Emotional Stability- 46%, he’s a bit of a loner. He only has like one friend (Jowan) who ends up being a blood mage and executed so he’s not very okay emotionally wise.

Agressiveness- 46%, he tries to be assertive but his whole life he was told he was a sin in the eyes of this Maker person and he was supposed to use his magic to help the very people who feared him. It’s hard to get over all the mental abuse of being told you are a freak and people fear you. AND on top of that, he is an elf, so his opinion matters even LESS to people, and even his peers.

Liveliness- 70%, he’s pretty a pretty friendly person when you try to get to know him, it’s just hard to get him to open up.

Dutifulness- 22%, screw the chantry, the templars, AND the Circle. ALL of them mistreated him and told him he was doomed to become an abomination if he wasn’t a good little sheep who played by all the rules. Mages deserve freedom!

Social Assertiveness- 50%, he tries to be assertive, but again it’s very hard for him.

Sensitivity- 70%, he takes almost everything personally. And it’s hard not to when most of the things said to you ARE offensive.

Paranoia- 58%, he tries not to paranoid and believe people are out to get him but it’s very hard when he sees the looks people give him.

Abstractness- 86%, such an odd elf. He loves creating things and being imaginative. He sees the world in a much different manner than most, it’s like the Fade and Ferelden blend together sometimes..he’d never say that out loud though. Lest people thought he was an abomination.

Introversion- 74%, despite being basically ostracized by the rest of his peers and elders, he is a pretty sociable person and loves to talk about almost everything under the sun. He’ll talk your ear off if you let him!

Anxiety- 86%, he’s alway anxious. All of the mental and emotional abuse he was put through all those years in the Circle made him second guess himself CONSTANTLY throughout his life as a Warden.

Openmindedness- 86%, always willing to learn new things and new opinions on people and culture. He know not everything is so cut and dry like people make everything out to be.

Independence- 62%, he’s almost not used to all this freedom. It feels like a dream to him…he’s afraid he’ll wake up.

Perfectionism- 54%, tries his best to make things right but he knows that can’t always be the case.

Tension- 34%, VERY stressed. After the abuse he went through, it’s hard not to be.
