Nathalia lives au (aka cute girl goes through the horrors has her polycule killed and the boyfriend that survived is ugly af guilty for this happening and was consumed by the creepy af serial killer mask) (aka Nath doesn't have a nice time)

So basically: here, what changes is that she is not put on the hook and Aguiar throws both her and Lila down the cliff, but Nath falls on the lake and somehow gets out of it without anyone killing her (looking at you Dalmo) running with pure adrenaline because she just had an axe on her face and Lila is dead and she can barely see anything and she can't move the right side of her face

Then she crawls through the camp trying to find someone to help her and she does! She finds Breno, right after Jorel put on the mask and killed Melissa, and he starts freaking out as soon as he sees her (she's all soaked with both water and blood and theres a fucking huge cut in half of her face dude was fucking terrified) but she just begs him to help her because there's a killer here and she doesn't want to die and Breno helps her walking because she's still all stiff due to the shock and wound

And then while he helps her in trying to leave he tells about the mask and mentions Jorel and Nathalia can't believe it, there must be something wrong going on, he can't have done that, he'd never do that, she knows him! (she thought that when he brought them all here too) Then they meet Jorge and he's like: "wait, Nath??? You're here too?! Fuck, fuck, fuck" but they can't think much anymore because suddenly Jorel is there and Nathalia is terrified because apparently what Breno said is true but she tries to reach out to him and Jorel starts the "10 9 8" and she is heartbroken and terrified

Then while the Jae fight happens she follows Breno as fast as she can and then the ordem arrives and its all a mess but it seems like it'll be ok. But Jorel kills Jorge. He kills him, and she starts screaming and he starts screaming and Breno and the agents and Jae and everyone is screaming and she just can't do it anymore and passes out. She later wakes up in the ordem infirmary, close to Breno

She then... struggles. She would never become a paranormal agent (someone get this girl out of there) but she goes to the base regularly because that's the only place where there's a psychologist that will actually believe her when she talks about that day. And she grieves all her partners and feels incredibly lost and lonely because no one else gets it, no one else will believe her. She becomes friends with Breno because they both went through hell and they find a nice home in each other (she often goes to his home and meets his grandma, who was a paranormal agent in the past! What a surprise!)

She flinches away from anything with blood or gore, but she still holds a grip onto horror stories involving psychological terror (she actually liked "O Espreitador"). Maybe it's because she now feels fear all the time and through horror stories she can feel that at least this fear right now is an itty bitty justified. She loses half of her sight and loses her depth perception and nearly all of her balance most of the times and its hard to speak sometimes and she struggles to look into a mirror.

And, one day, she's just ended a therapy session on ordem and she is about to leave, but then she sees either Cassiano, Eduarda or Hugo and remembers she heard the prisoners are responsability of the agents that caught them.

"Excuse me, do you remember me? My friend got arrested by you. Please, can I go see him?"

"...ok, but... I have to warn you that... he doesn't remember you."

"...it's ok, I just want to see him. Thank you."

And she goes and she is glad his cell is nearer than Mutilador Noturno's and the agents are always looking at the situation with alarm and she looks at him and he looks at her and they can't recognize each other.

"...hi."

"Who's there?"

"I'm Nathalia, but you can call me Nath."

And she starts going there. And going there, and going there. She is mad he didn't tell her before the truth about the camp, but it's not like he remembers it or that it matters now. She knows she won't make him come back, he'll never come back, but she can't abandon him (like he did to her), so she'll just... stay there. And the agents are always, always watching and worried.

And... as for him... he doesn't recognize her, and he wonders why she always comes, and he sometimes shouts and bites and is cruel to her to see if she'll react or what (it always makes her tear up and start yelling at him about stuff he doesn't understand, then she goes silent and leaves sooner). But regardless of what he says, she's always back, and she is always... kind. Her voice is soft most of the time, she asks about stuff going on with him (not like he has much to say, though) and talks about her day, and sometimes she brings in books and reads for him and its horror stories and its somewhat calming specially with her soft voice. And one day she got her phone and put on a movie for him to watch, "nightmare before christmas" and he... kind of likes it.

And, for the first time as long as he can remember, there is a person he doesn't want to kill.

Maybe I'm just mean and evil and foul and vile and wicked and disgusting but. What if now that Jorel lost his mind plus lost all his friends (lovers) he starts hallucinating with them. He canonically has hallucinations now, so it wouldn't be that big of a step, right? (he won't ever think about Jorge, though. It makes everything come back and it just hurts way too much)

While the other crazy people in the order's prison often talk to themselves about, like, the Diabo, Anfitrião or something like that, there is this guy (that weirdly looks like a twink) that just talks as if he was talking to a friend.

He asks someone named Nathalia if she has been reading anything interesting recently and if she got to finish that book, "O Espreitador".

He asks someone named Lila if her foot is ok and apologizes for leaving her alone for that while on the bear trap.

He asks for forgiveness to someone named Shanyqua for dragging her to this mess and seems to shrink as he receives an answer from someone that isn't there.

He asks someone named Leandro if he is ok and what happened to him after he went down the hill and entered the forest.

He asks someone named Ricardo to tell him when is his next basketball game so he can attend to it.

The order agents, at least most of them, don't know who this guy was before he got the mask. They know he was a normal person with zero connections to occultism before he entered Lua da Benquerença, and the mask made him lose his mind. But to see him talking to these unexisting people and act as a normal guy would with his friends, they can't help but feel sorry for him and wonder who are these people and what happened in that camp.
