“Suggestivism” at Spoke Art.

Opening virtually on Saturday, July 11th, 2020 at Spoke Art Gallery in San Francisco, California is the group exhibition “Suggestivism,” curated by Nathan Spoor.

Featuring both emerging and established artists, the exhibition encapsulates the Suggestivist art movement, juxtaposing elements of narrative storytelling, figurative work and imagined universes.

About the exhibition, curator Nathan Spoor states, “Conceptually speaking, the term “suggestivism” refers to the ability of an individual to pursue their purpose with an amplified understanding and sensitivity. The artists involved represent precisely this - a wave of purpose, working within the more fluid aspects of narrative or figurative arenas. Through the mere power of suggestion, the magic is transferred from one to another, engaging the world at large from the most vivid and evocative of visual realms.”

Today is the opening of the group show Suggestivism: Resonance, curated by Nathan Spoor. I’m very excited to be a part of this exhibition with my piece “Symbiosis”!

In conjunction with the exhibition, the coffee table art book “Suggestivism: Resonance” will be released. 

There will be a book signing from 4-6pm, and the opening reception is from 6-8pm. At Spoke Art NYC! Come and enjoy some lovely art!

Spoke Art NY presents 'Suggestivism: Resonance', a group exhibition curated by Nathan Spoor featuring over 50 internationally renowned contemporary artists, showcasing both emerging and established artists. The exhibition encapsulates the Suggestivist art movement, incorporating elements of narrative storytelling, figurative works and imagined universes.

The opening reception is on Saturday July 7 from 6pm – 8pm ET, at Spoke Art NYC, 210 Rivington St, 10002, New York. The exhibition will be on display until July 28.

In conjunction with the opening of the exhibition, Spoke Art are also releasing the 'Suggestivism: Resonance' art book. A hardcover art book with over 200 pages featuring over 50 artists. Spoke NYC will be hosting a special book signing with cover artist Esao Andrews and curator Nathan Spoor (and more!) beginning at 4pm ET on Saturday July 7 before the opening reception of the exhibition. Advance copies of the book will also be able for purchase at the event.
