Well, I did make myself a promise that once my tumblr reached 1k, I’d take it more seriously. Maybe even make it my primary social source, especially since Instagram went over to the darkside and partnered up with that scumbag Zuckerberg.

Soooo...welcome one and all!

Some of you may be unfamiliar with me and my work, so here’s the synopsis: I began my comicbook career in 1989 at DC COMICS doing a TSR property called FORGOTTEN REALMS. most of my 31 years (as of this February) was spent at DC and I’ve handled many of their more prominent characters such as SUPERMAN, WONDER WOMAN, BATMAN, HAWKMAN, NIGHTWING...so forth and so on; but my biggest and utmost “tour de force” project was a 7 issue mini series that had me partner up with NY TIMES best selling writer Brad Meltzer called IDENTITY CRISIS which debuted in 2004. I also did a small smattering of work for MARVEL as well. Just a couple of issues for the NEW AVENGERS and a few covers.

So where am I now...? After the corporatization of the industry, it turns out I’m an old artist making too much money in page rates for Time Warner (DC) and Disney (MARVEL).

That means I’m in semi retirement. I’m retired from the day to day grind of monthly comicbooks, but I’m still staying active for the right projects, i.e. mini (or maxi) series, graphic novels and covers. Since leaving mainstream comics, my most prominent project was AMORY WARS “Good Apollo I’m Burning Star IV” for EVIL INK COMICS through BOOM! Comics. There I partnered up with COHEED and CAMBRIA’s CLAUDIO SANCHEZ and his wife CHONDRA ECHERT. If you haven’t checked out that 12 issue maxi series, please do. It’s a very cool story and my independent comics debut.

But I’m not done yet. I’ve been talking to Emmy award winning writer Garin Wolf for a screenplay he wants to put into a graphic novel and also Jim Starlin for one of his stories. Neither of these projects are set yet, so please don’t hold me to anything. Hopefully we can get both of these off the ground and in the event that does happen, I will be posting that information here for you.
