“IISM is an excellent choice for us,” praised a proud parent of Mayank Chaphekar, a PGPSM (Postgraduate in Sports Management) student at IISM and a National Games champion.
Mayank’s journey at IISM has been more than just academic; it has been transformational. Mr. Vaibhav Chaphekar, Mayank’s father, shared his insights when asked how IISM has shaped his son’s academic experience.
He also highlighted how internships and building a strong professional network have helped his son experience the best of the Sports Management program.
But what truly stood out for his son was IISM’s unwavering support ❤️ during the National Games.
The institute granted Mayank a 2-month leave to focus on his training — ensuring he could give his best to Pentathlon without compromising his academic progress.
Not to mention, Mayank's indomitable spirit & hard work won him 3 Gold Medals 🥇🥇🥇 & 1 Bronze Medal 🥉 in the National Games Uttarakhand 2025.

In the previous matches, Kimaya, with her team, secured a Gold medal in the Rhythmic Gymnastics Team Championships.

Kimaya Karle, Our Bachelors of Sports Science student (BSS), paved her way to the winning podium in the 38th National Games Uttarakhand. She, with her team, secured the Gold Medal 🥇 in the Rhythmic Gymnastics Team Championships while representing Maharashtra in the tournament.
Notably, Kimaya also achieved numerous accolades during the previous National Games.
