Scrolling through social media, it's been awesome seeing all the acknowledgements & posts about national widow's day. This one in particular stood out. It made me think of one person who decided that slandering me, somehow honored Bret. They first told anyone who would listen, that I was the reason he ended his life. Then, they went further and told anyone and everyone that I actually carried out the act. Death brings out the worst in people, but it doesn't have to. You honor the dead by treating their nearest and dearest with kindness. 🌹 I mean, would you act like that if they were still alive? If not, don't act like that after they are gone.
