So, It Turns Out I'm Still Alive? Shocker.

°• Surprise, everyone!

I know it’s been a long while since my last post. I sincerely apologize for my hiatus and appreciate those of you who’ve stood by.

I have a couple updates concerning Native Fay and my audio drama. I didn’t want you all to think that I had completely abandoned the project because that is far from the truth. I’m still extremely passionate about Moonpocks. It’s a story I hold close to my heart. 

In all honesty, I realized I bit off a bit more than I could chew and wanted to adjust my content accordingly. I am working solo and can't afford any assistance, so producing a single chapter or video of any kind can be time-intensive, especially with the wrenches life throws in. I figured it was better to recognize my shortcomings before I got in too deep and betray people's expectations.

So far, I have uploaded a revision of Pock 0. Pock 1 is coming very soon. I strongly recommend a re-listen if you want to grasp the full context of the drama. While much of the story remains intact, many of the details and interactions have been altered to enrich the narrative.

On a final note, I do have a few Youtube videos queued up, one of which covers my personal journey with audio drama. Many of my upcoming videos will be inspired by Moonpocks and its occult foundations, so please check them out!

Fire and Ego

Fire has such an interesting relationship with Ego. I'm still a noob when it comes to certain occult subjects, but I wanted to explore these thoughts through the lenses of astrology and tarot. I find that the zodiac (Aries/Leo/Sagittarius) and the Wands suit exemplify the egotism of Fire so well.

Breakdown

Aries tends to be fiercely competitive and combative (warrior spirit), demanding to be rightfully acknowledged as #1.

Leo is commonly perceived to have a Narcissus complex. Leos are seen to be self-absorbed and selfish divas, obsessed with their own image. After all, everything revolves around the Sun, right?

The shadow side of Sagittarius is their tendency to moralize. They often desire to appear intellectually and/or ethically superior to others. This is the sign affiliated with planet Jupiter and the 9th house whose dominion is higher education, religion & philosophy, travel and expansion.

Is it because it lights up a room? Was one of the earliest tools of survival? I wonder what else about Fire inspires such confidence--or, arrogance, as some might argue.

Final Word

I've been feeling drawn to Fire lately--fire signs, candle spells, etc. It's been really interesting subject to delve into since my last dip in the pool with elemental studies. Our ancestors had such a unique way of illustrating the patterns of life and human behavior.

I’ve clearly lit a fire under my butt, so expect a post on candle spells soon! My occultist past and present are strangely mixing in with Moonpocks in ways I didn’t expect.

Hi everyone! I wanted to give a huge thank you to all those who followed me. I've given some of you a follow back and will probably get around to the rest of y'all later.

I'm working fiercely on Phase 2 (pen's on fire as we speak), but I wanted to give y'all a little heads up. In addition to Moonpocks, I'm also a real-life folk occultist + research junkie, so I'm gonna be posting insights I get in connection to the audio drama and Native Fay (hence, the title).
