#3441 - Eremophila glabra - Common Emu-Bush
AKA Tar Bush. A figwort endemic to mainland Australia, growing in many soil types, but usually in the drier parts of the continent. A variable species with a wide range of cultivars available.
There are more than 270 species of Eremophila, with the largest number in Western Australia - all are endemic to mainland Australia. Common names include poverty bush or native fuchsia bush. They're particular successful in the arid inland, and range in size from low-growing shrubs to small trees.
