The repetition of these Phormium 'Yellow Wave' (flax lily) in these containers makes them even more striking as a display. This evergreen, clump-forming perennial is well suited to a large container and can withstand exposed locations.

The Sword Leaf Dianella or Dianella ensifolia blooming near the entrance of the zoo. This was taken against shady undergrowth with the exposure biased 1-1/3 stops darker.
