He is buried near Wanblee, Jackson County, South Dakota at Presbyterian Cemetery, at section B, grave No. 1. William "Willie" Sitting Bull performed for several years with the Buffalo Bill Circus which brought him to Europe in 1904. The late artist, William Gene Stewart (1955-2009), a.k.a. William Sitting Bull Stewart is his great-grandson."
