Uncle Steve is one of the bravest people I know.  He would do anything for his Ohana.  He’s also crazy in love with my Dad!  Sometimes I don’t think he realizes how obvious it is.  The way he looks at Danno, it shows in his eyes.  And all the little things he does.

He’s always told me to face my fears and be strong.  I wish he would take that advice and just say something to my Dad!  I know Danno feels the same way too.

Danny groaned as he stood upright again after cuffing the one of the shooters or, as he called in his head “the asshole who was the godforsaken reason while he had been up since 4 in the morning after getting only three hours of sleep and God help me, I’m gonna kick his ass.”

Looking around to where the rest of the team was thanking HPD for the backup, Danny titled his head as he caught sight of his boss, giving him a small smile.

“Y’know, someone better get this one here way from me, before my foot finds its way to his ribs or something,” he said, finishing up with a yawn.

how much do i love holly? let me count the ways--- snorts. okay no but really this deserves storytime.

holly is amazing. i’ve known her for almost five years at this point, since our days on facebook when she had ( i think it was, anyways ) a crack version of steve rogers?? like, this was before i was really into the avengers and everything, so i didn’t know all that much to begin with, so i thought her version was pretty okay for the most part. we didn’t even talk all that much at the time until our mutual friend arin posted a picture of a duckling and named it wolfgang, or something. and then we were just goofing off and talking about shit in the comments of it. it wasn’t long after that when we realized we lived in the same state and actually lived within a couple hours of each other.

then we both moved to tumblr. she had her personal and i had my first blog with my firstborn oc, janetmelodypondsong. we didn’t really start rping with each other until janet and nick became a thing. and i fell in love with her writing because IT’S GREAT DAMMIT HOLLY YOUR WRITING IS GR1000 FIGHT ME.

soon after that, JAN and nick became like family to each other, and pretty much a thing happened where no matter what verse it is, nick and kennie and chev are always there in some way. SPN, he’s her dad figure. the privateverse with jan and jeremy, he’s also still her dad figure.

honestly, no matter what muse she has, i will be there to love on it as much as possible. i just love writing with holly so much??? and hanging out with her in person because that’s always fun. i loved staying the night at her house last year bc that was a blast. i watched her play undertale. and we watched the brave little toaster goes to mars. we also watched kung fury, and that was so ridiculously hilarious at 3am. I PET HER CATS TOO. don’t even get me started on the times she came down to my town so we could go into the haunted asylum across the street from my house.

After a whole night wide awake with Charlie, because the poor boy had a earache, it took Danny a second to actually understand what Steve had just said. Danny had his cheek against the kitchen table, his eyes half closed, and he lifted a hand to wave at his partner.

“Thanks, babe. You’re a life saver.”

          she’s even emphasizing her words by booping her face against part of his shoulder and just kinda leaning there. was she in a weird mood? was she sleep-deprived? it’s a mystery. // @nativexhaole

Eyes widened as he put his palms flat against Steve’s chest for just a moment. His heart was racing and he stood very still, mind totally blank. What had they been doing a second before? He wasn’t sure, and he wasn’t sure he actually had it in him to care right then, quite frankly.

As quickly as the surprise had come, he relaxed. His eyes fluttered closed, his fingers curled gently into the other’s shirt and he pulled him closer. After a moment he pulled away. He licked his lips.

“You have… really soft lips.”

Nick gently headbutted his shoulder. “Don’t cut yourself short. You’re plenty lovable. Stubborn, and a little private, yeah. But lovable all the same. And I believe soulmates is an earned title 100 percent, someone, or who knows, multiple someones maybe, will earn it, and someone will return the feeling.” kiss to the cheek with a slightly exaggerated ‘mwah’ sound.
