Isn't it funny that if Natlan people where portrayed as violent and very tribal people, people would hate it even more

Look, when it comes to hating on Genshin I'm the no.1 person there BUT GOD DID THEY COOK WITH THE TEMPLE OF SPACE, insane and I mean ***INSANE*** upgrade from whatever Natlan was. Literally becoming my favorite "reigon".

the natlan weekly boss finale could've been so fucking cool.. like it's just a great concept in the first place. a nation thats been devoured from the inside out by something that mimics and steals from the community and its people culminating in a monster that holds a twisted echo of hundreds of years of culture and history. ghosts of figures past and remnants of the stories told about them all used as a vehicle to destroy it all by a force that knows no humanity, only instinct to replace.

but like. in hindsight i can see the setups for it, like the emphasis on past warriors of natlan, the legends about the sacred flame, but when i was playing it? it felt like it came out of nowhere. i didn't even realize the dragon we were fighting was supposed to be Xiuhcoatl. and maybe that's me being stupid but i really just didn't have the experience i know they were intending. which is a bummer because its fantastic on paper.

also fuck the actual fight. it's so bad. every time i do it i want to kill someone. hate it so much.
