So I had been doodling a bit, and finally came to the conclusion that I should probably make a character design chart, lol... So I did.
This is Natsu Dragneel, or the work in progress of him, for the My Second Chance fanfic that I am currently writing. Tbh, it took a little while to actually draw some of these things, and I apologize that the wing isn’t the full scale look I was going for, and the hand isn’t as detailed as I wante it to be. Also some of these things are shaded (aka the eyes and mouth) while others aren’t.
I fell in love with how I wanted to make his eyes look, and that’s why it’s so big on the page. Also, it’s kinda hard to show all the detail I want in his eyes if it’s a small drawing, aka his face drawing. Tbh, the face drawing was the first I did, and I had zoomed in on the page a little too much. Sorry I didn’t draw the scarf, I do have a slightly different design in mind for it that Hiro Mashima’s design, just because this is a different au, and everything. I mean, Natsu literally has wings on his back, an has horns on his head, and dragon-like ears. Lucy is part elf! Also, the description of the clothes Lucy gives Natsu makes it seem kind of like Natsu’s standard attire of his one-sleeved vest, and baggy white capris, but it’s slightly different.
This was so much fun to draw, and write down my thoughts on the character, I’m definetly doing this for Lucy in My Second Chance and the characters you want me to put out my thoughts for in New Neighbor (Obviously Nami and Luffy, that’s a given, but also Usopp, Zoro, and Robin, would be fun to make a character design chart for).
