finally started on Getting Over It and as someone who often gets rather frustrated with games very quickly i was kinda suprised that i just. wasn't?

Becuase of the tactility of the game's controls, it directly leverages your frustration into further difficulty. You inevitably get impatient, move your mouse faster, smash your hammer into a wall too hard and send yourself careening back down like an oaf.

It therefore kinda forces me into this patient and deliberate mindset, demanding me to keep my cool or get nowhere.

I expected rage but ended up in a calm focus. This game may very well become a favourite of mine at this rate.
