back again once again on that lawta kick

i think this is the first time since 2015 that ive drawn delta with longish hair + its all down instead of up. also i cant draw laws tattoos

im either never going to finish this or will slowly work on it bit by bit for the next few months—but this is something ive been meaning to draw for about a year now because my favorite thing is romaone law wanting to have a nice quiet retired life but delta just wont let him

the kids are probably chanting to throw him in the river—and then to throw them in next

its been a while since law’s felt an emotion and delta isnt used to people thinking theyre not invincible

reminder that theres an au of my own one piece au, crossed over with my own original story, where law’s retired and is greying naturally and delta comes over every five months and makes him babysit their kids

delta should be able to lift law up and throw him into a tree but instead of being stuck up there like a cat, he lives up there now to “get away from society” or whatever (hes totally stuck)

maybe theyll take the kids adventuring sometime—or not. as much as delta jokes about it, they really dont know anything about how to properly care for a child. or two

maybe thats the reason they keep leaving them for months at a time. hmm

a more “canon” version of romaone x natulta would be 40 year old law retired from the wandering life and taking it easy in some small town as the local doctor (probably deltas town) and delta comes home for the first time in seven years and sees law and they just give him shit for being “such an old man now god look at all that grey hair law youre, what, like 100 now??”

and laws eternal suffering continues now except this time its some punk kid who grew up and wont stop flirting with him at every opportunity (and keeps reminding him that hes getting older)
