I couldn't take the damage in my hair anymore so big chop #2 happened. Missed the short hair though. :)
LENGTH CHECK.

thanks to shrinkage the length isn't totally honest in the bottom photo but that's some PROGRESS if i do say so myself. i was thinking of straightening my hair one of these days and see how long my hair is (probably down to my shoulders by now)... so one day we can make that happen.
update time!
as of yesterday i cut off all of the relaxed ends of my hair and now i am all natural baby!! if you don't know that means all of the pictures you see before me where i have straight bangs that i curled under were my relaxed ends that my hair dresser desperately tried to salvage during this whole journey haha. i mean i tried to keep them too and i waited for a while before i cut them off because i wanted to let my natural hair grow out a little more before i snipped those suckers off as well. but it came to a point where my natural hair was overpowering my fickle ends and they became more of a bother than something that should help my hair look good. so it was time to say goodbye. my hair is a little messy in this picture because I've been working all day but i wanted to show you my progress! after i washed it my hair was really big and the top is getting really long which is kind of exciting :D but here i have a bantu knot out just to keep the top from getting too out of control.
but anyway, long story short. I'm all natural and i love it! :D since its bitter cold outside I've been wearing hats, hoods, headbands and whatever i can to keep my head warm and moisturizing constantly because my hair now is super sensitive to the cold. but i like the change, and we will see how this goes!
