The Nature of Angels
In Hebrews Chapter 1 we learn that Jesus is better than angels - but what are angels, truly? There are a lot of stories about angels, and depictions on TV and movies , but what does the Bible say?
I've never given much thought to angels, but neither have I doubted their existence or diminished their importance in God's Kingdom in my thoughts about them. I prefer to focus on Jesus and the areas of God's Kingdom that He has assigned me to, but I dont say that with a haughty spirit - rather, I am pretty easily distracted, so I simply need to focus my attention on Jesus, and what the Father is doing in my life. Satan is real, too, but I do as Pastor Bill Johnson does - give Satan only as much attention as is required to take aim and pull the trigger! As far as angels are concerned, I consider only what scripture has to say, and not a lot of the fantasy stuff that is out there!
