I can see the lovers. The maiden is rowing the boat with sweat dripping down her forehead, as her lotus like eyes dart around here and there. I see the bewitched man who thinks that moonlight, you, my love has come down to decorate her form, to help her enchant him.
Like all brave lovers, she too has set her heart to meet him. She has ventured outside her courtyard once, not caring about remarks and whispers that would disgrace her if someone catches her and her lover. I venture out boldly to love you, but you never wait for me. Before, I reach you, you disappear and send the burning sun in the sky.
This distance between us makes me keep loving you. Your distant form that shines brightly at the world keeps my hopes intact that someday like these lovers, I shall meet you someday. Maybe, I will find you enchanted by me just like this man.
My pleas for union fall in your deaf ears. But, if my love is pure, let the lovers meet tonight.

Because the test went well today, I wrote this up
Also finding dance videos to make these gifs is a real job. My fingers are hurting after making them and typing this. I still love doing this so it's worth the little pain.
So Abhisarika means the heroine who is all set to meet her lover. Nothing will stop her. That's what she thinks and is out in the dark with a shawl over her body so she may remain hidden in the dark.
I have found some lovely kathak videos that brilliantly poetry abhisarika nayika. The first gif is from a kathak video only. I was lucky to get the diya and dark bg one for the video because editing it to make it dark would have been another job and I am lazy.
Also I have no idea why did I write about the chakora but I did.
