Scuba dive refresher course - ✔️✔️✔️! It's been a while. A loooong while since i've last dove. Way too long for someone who feels more comfortable in water than on land. I really do. But going into that is a whole other conversation. So, i found a dive shop i like. It's an hour away and great people, though why ive found no good shops closer to santa monica therefore the ocean is beyond me. Drive time compensated for when i swam in a pool watching the sunset go behind the nearby mountains. Now, i'm ready for when someone says "Hey Jolyn, want to go scuba diving? We leave tomorrow!" I can say "Yes. Yes i can." And be confident i can be an awesome dive buddy, having worked out the review kinks in a pool and not in choppy open water which isn't fair to anyone anyway.
