may '20: wisper trailing - naurother grubengold. #newblogpost is up - link in bio 🌳 the #wispertaunus is one of my favourite parts of the #taunus mountains, it's a charming, enchanted, rocky landscape, with little rivulets & idyllic lakes dotting the forests. on this 14 km hike we encountered many historic industrial slate pits, one of which has been turned into a protected landscape area. but we also wandered through craggy towering rock landscapes that are said to have been inhabited by a woman of nature, a wildweibchen, in the past, being of service to the people in the sparsely populated region with her knowledge on herbs, fulfilling doula duties and providing a rich fund of old pagan stories, that kept people warm in cold winters. places like this make one start to dream and wallow, and rejuvenate you to no end! #nature #nauroth (hier: Heidenrod-Nauroth) https://www.instagram.com/p/CpflUEttmH8/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
