Knee Socks: If you were starring in a movie, who would you want as your co star?
depends on the movie! i think chris pratt would be fun to be around but if we’re going by looks then i gotta say mr. jake gyllenhaal :D
Apple Picking: What’s something you’ve done that you’re really proud of?
i won a lot of spelling bees as a little kid, haha. more recently, my submission for the agenda cover design was chosen and now everyone at my school has my art on their planners!
Hay Rides: What fictional world would you want to live in?
hmmm. i think scadrial would be cool, assuming i have some form of allomancy!
@navanikholin replied to your post “Sometimes I look at traditional Chinese characters and all I can think...”
okay so i took a year of mandarin in high school and we had an exchange student from hong kong that year who spoke cantonese more and literally /always/ used traditional characters he was so cool but like......... why jacky why. i still don't know what he wrote in my yearbook because traditional characters are so aaaaaaaaug
I know...Our professor is making us learn at least how to recognize traditional characters. I mean, at the beginning of the class we had to choose whether to use simplified or traditional characters, and most of us chose simplified, but a few chose traditional for various reasons.
It’s not so bad since I don’t have to actually write them, but sometimes she purposefully mixes simplified and traditional characters on tests to make sure we know both and it’s usually not too hard, but the ones that are completely changed drive my crazy.

"So, I found this waterfall...”
Mobe had been perched on his favorite spot, high above the homes that they had declared as their own in the trees, however many generations ago. He didn't really watch for anything, he just liked looking over the trees, feeling tall for once.
Below him, there was rustling of leaves and then a grunt. In the branches was a bright head of gold hair, which brought him to smile ear-to-ear. Of course Toby would climb to talk to him.
"Hey." he was just below him. "So. I found this waterfall..." He looked dirty, like he'd been rolling in the dirt for god knows how long.
"Wait. Toby, are you telling me you went to ground-level?"
"No! God, no. I just found a waterfall, it's really pretty and i wanted to take you there. I figured the tops of these trees might get boring eventually, right? Plus... Well.. Jay told me it'd be romantic if I did that."
Mobe's face turned a shade pinker and he nodded. "Are you sure we won't get in trouble if we go there?"
"If Jay told me it was okay, then it's okay."
After clambering down the branches, parading through the rest of the homes as they normally would on a calm day, and an hour of walking (and also nearly falling out of a tree), Mobreigh heard what he thought was wind.
Then he heard drops of water, and he saw the most beautiful thing he might ever see. Huge white streams of water falling into a calm blue pool below. The waterfall seemed a lot bigger than it actually was from far away, perhaps only 20 feet tall. But it was elegant. Vines and moss lingered on the rocks, gently brushed aside by the occasional splash of water. He could watch it for years.
"This is the best place ever." Mobe decided aloud. "We should come here every day for as long as we can."
"Every day, till the day we die." He promised.
