Getting Married in the Military: Things you need, and steps to take!
I know I've made a video like this before, but I figured I'd take another whack at it, hopefully making this one more clear cut and helpful. I didn't know any of this stuff before going through the process, so I wanted to help you guys out!
If I missed anything, or there's anything else you'd like to know, shoot us an ask!
Have a great night everyone (:

"What are some things I can do with my SO to keep our relationship fun?"
It's a question we get asked frequently, so I wanted to make a video for you all in which I spitfire ideas based on experience. All of these things I mentioned are things that Simon and I do or have done, along with others I haven't mentioned.
Send in any other activities you like to do with your SO to help keep your relationship alive, together or not! I'd love to hear some of your own unique ideas to maybe try myself! (:

Race for the Ring: Why I don't think you should pressure your significant other for a ring, and other related issues
Like I said in my video, these are my opinions and I don't expect all of you to agree with me, but that's okay! I just felt that this topic is something that needed to be talked about, because on any given day on the milso tag, there are multiple girls talking about engagement, complaining about not being engaged, so on and so forth.
I would love to continue this conversation with you guys. If you have a differing opinion, I'd love to talk about it with you! Send a message on over to the inbox on how you feel about engagement in the milso community!
Other than that, I hope you guys enjoy and have a great evening (: I'll see you next week!

Get to know Jenn's relationship!
1. What branch of service is your S/O in? The Navy.
2. How long have you been with them? Three years as of December 13th!
3. Did you meet them before or after they joined? I met Simon before he joined, when he was just a junior in high school.
4. Hardest part of being a military girlfriend/boyfriend/wife/husband/fiancé(e)? The hardest part for us so far was the almost year we spent long distance. Now that we live together, I’d say the hardest part of him being in the military is duty days!
5. When will you get to see your military S/O? I’ll see him when I get back from my final today, and when he gets back from work.
6. Do you two have a good, stable relationship? Our relationship is strong, and fun. However, we do have our arguments, and when we do argue, it tends to be like World War III.
7. Has your S/O ever been deployed? No he has not, and unless he volunteers, he won’t deploy for 3+ years.
8. If so, how many times and where? N/A
9. During deployments do you struggle with being happy? N/A
10. Has your relationship ever suffered due to distance? Yes, it has. A School was a tough time on our relationship.
11. Uniform or civilian clothes? I mean, day to day, I love his regular clothes. I think he is SO handsome. But I do love when he has inspections, because I get to see him in all of his “dress” uniforms that I rarely get to see.
12. Have they given you their dog tags to wear? Nope. I don’t even think he knows where he put them.
13. Do you enjoy being with someone in the military? It’s been an adventure.
14. Ever wished you had met someone who wasn’t military? I did meet someone that wasn’t in the military. He just so happened to join afterwards.
15. Do you cherish time more with them since they leave so much? Because I know what being apart from him is like, I cherish each and every moment that I get to see him.
16. Is your S/O trustworthy when it comes to being faithful? Yes, he always has been. I should probably lighten up on him.
17. Have they ever surprised you with homecomings? Not really a “homecoming,” but he surprised me and came home for my birthday last year.
18. Real men wear combat boots? Real men where whatever they’d like.
19. Are you in love with your military S/O? Gosh more than anything.
20. If you could say one thing to them right now, what would it be? No matter how much we argue, or how tough things get, I will never give up on us.
