Merry Christmas, you.
“Mm. Merry Christmas, Nanase.”
"No. The answer is no."
:: [ 松岡 凛 ] — "It wasn't a question, I am staying here for the weekend." He didn't come all the way from Australia to sleep at home. No way, he could only handle both Gou and his mother for so long.

How Nanase managed to wake up at the crack ass of dawn, Sousuke didn’t know. He was too fond of sleep to get up that early on his own free will. Scrunching his nose as a sandpaper tongue licked a stripe across it, Sousuke groggily batted a hand at the perpetrator who had roused him from his sleep. Opening up one teal eye, he let out a groan. The cats were beckoning him and had decided that apparently he had been sleeping too long for their tastes. Why Nanase let them in, Sousuke didn’t know. There were many things about the other that would likely always remain a mystery to him. “I’m up, I’m up, you happy?” he grumbled, cranky, the cat mewling at him and bouncing onto the floor to join his companions.
Throwing a leg over the edge of the bed, Sousuke ran a hand through his bedhead that stood up on end before letting out a loud, audible yawn, stretching his arms up above his head ad pulling at them, hearing the elbows crack before he stood. Running a hand underneath the nightshirt that he wore, he scratched at his stomach, his abs in full display, clad in the shrt and his boxers as he walked out of Nanase’s bedroom and started down the hallway to the kitchen. There were some scraps from last night that they could get rid of. Likely, Nanase was still wading in the tub. There were days where Sousuke joined him, but seldom did he join him in the morning.
The cats scampered around his feet, some of them wading their way through his legs and rubbing up against him eagerly. “Needy little things.” Reminded him of a certain someone. Someone that he found hovering over the skillet, apron and typically blank expression on. “Thought you would still be in the bath,” Sousuke commented as the kittens scampered to the food bowl that was kept for them. Maybe Sousuke had been sleeping longer than he thought. He hadn’t bothered to check the time.
This worked in his favor. “The kittens are hungry. Probably because they smell the fish.” He indicated towards the mackerel that Nanase was cooking. He also could hear the slight whistle of the rice cooker. “We have those leftovers in the fridge.” And leaving that as his indication that Nanase should feed them, Sousuke felt he had effectively handed over the baton and given the duty to the shorter male. “I’m going to go wash up.” Curling a hand around Nanase’s shoulder, he leaned down to press a feather soft kiss to his cheek. If asked later, he would blame the tender, affectionate gesture on being still half-asleep. But as it was, he doubted Nanase would ask. The other didn’t tend to address such things.
With another yawn, he headed back to the bedroom and plopped back on the bed, not even bothering to cover himself up with the sheets. Five more minutes wouldn’t hurt.
OUR SHIP~
SEND A SHIP WITH "!!!" AFTER FOR THEIR MARRIED LIFE
Who was the one to propose: Sousuke. He is typically the one to take the first step forward in their relationship since Haru is more stubborn and tsundere about these things than he is. So Sousuke is the one to propose, and it’s not some grandiose thing, but he does it in a way that’s very them. One night when they were in the bath together, Sousuke reached for a new dolphin toy that he had bought and handed it to Haru. He then asked him to open it, and after Haru first looked confused at him, he flipped open the middle of the dolphin to reveal the ring. Sousuke figured that, if he asked while they were naked and in the tub, Haru had nowhere to run and avoid the confrontation.
Who stressed more over wedding planning: Haru did, though he didn’t vocalize it and it wasn’t really stress. He was just the one that put more thought into the wedding and concerned himself over what flowers would go well with their theme and the food and details like that whereas Sousuke mostly just wanted to make sure they both had a tux, an officiant, and their closest friends by their sides. Neither of them wanted anything too crazy.
Who decorated the house: Haru put in most of the work into choosing the decor of their house, though Sousuke went along for shopping. He doesn’t have much of a sense for interior design, so it was wise to leave that up to Haru since he was pretty good with color schemes.
Who is more organized: Neither of them are bad with organization, but Haru is a bit more well-kept about everything, especially since he lived on his own before so he knows what it takes to keep a house running sufficiently.
Who initiates bedroom fun: Sousuke has more of a libido than Haru does, so I’d say Sousuke. He’s a bit insatiable when it comes to sex, especially at the start of their relationship, and that never really dies down even as they settle into it.
Who suggested kids first: Sousuke. When he thought they were ready for that step, he told Haru that it was about time they started thinking about kids.
Who’s more dominant: Sexually, Sousuke is, but don’t think that means that Haru doesn’t have him wrapped around his little finger…
Who’s the cuddler: They’ll deny it until they’re blue in the face, but both of them are pretty affectionate. So it’s more of a mutual thing and they sleep wrapped up around each other.
What’s their favorite non-sexual activity: Bickering. Or at least, it’s the one that they engage in the most. They bicker over almost everything, but rarely does it lead to real fights. Sousuke typically is the one to concede, though if it is over something serious, he’s more likely to stand his ground.
Who kills the spiders: Neither are afraid of spiders, but Sousuke finds them more of a nuisance than Haru does, so he stomps on them faster.
Who falls asleep first: Haru because he’s a sleepy little dolphin. Sousuke functions on less sleep so he tends to stay up later.
Who is louder? Sousuke is. His voice is just more…booming. So he can get pretty loud.
Who is more experimental? Considering the conversations that we’ve already had, the only acceptable answer to this is Haru. Sousuke is vanilla compared to that kinky guy. They do say it’s alawys the quiet ones.
Do they fuck or make love? Both. They start off as a relationship where it’s just supposed to be fucking, but once they acknowledge their feelings to each other, they typically only make love. It just takes them awhile to get to that point.
Who is more likely to be caught masturbating? Sousuke. Haru is far more sneaky.
Who comes first? Depends on what they’re doing. If it’s penetrative sex, it’s probably going to be Haru because Sousuke makes it a point to learn how to best make Haru come undone so he’s quick to work Haru to that point before letting himself find release.
Who is better at oral and who prefers it? Sousuke gets more practice at it, so he’s better. Both of them like it, but Sousuke typically precludes to penetration with some oral, so Haru prefers it.
Who usually initiates things? Sousuke has a bad habit of pouncing Haru at any given time. While he’s pretty vanilla, that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t like to do it at any given spot in the house. He feels it’s necessary to ‘christen’ every nook and cranny of it, really.
Who is more sensitive? Haru is, though he’s less likely to show it.
Who has the most patience? They’re a good match for each other when it comes to patience, but Haru’s good at getting Sousuke at losing the last thread of his, so Haru takes this one.
Honestly, he was astounded at how much mackerel one person could put away. Or more so, how Haru could stand to eat the same thing every day. It was exhausting watching him pull it from his bento. Deciding to eat with him after a meet was almost, arguably, the worst decision he's made. (Not really, but for dramatics, it was.)
"Keep eating just that and you're going to turn into one. You'll sprout a gills and everything."

It was a surprise to hear from her uncle. It had been about three months since he last spoke to her, and that was when she had dropped him off at the airport. Hearing his voice wasn't much of a comforting thing, but the news he produced made her a quite happy.
She rushed to the bakery the next morning, dressed in a high-waisted skirt and a white collared shirt, so she could clean up and make things presentable for her new coworker. She wanted to welcome them, even if she ended up feeling animus towards them. She'd be with them day in and day out, so she supposed it wouldn't be too bad to at least try to be polite. They were helping her out, after all. After endless weeks of searching for volunteers, she'd finally get some help around the shop.
The raven was grateful the that person going to help her happened to be a family friend. There wouldn't be any awkward first-encounter small talk that forced her to produce short, forced laughter most of the time; She didn't have to put up an act. She could greet them without a problem and carry on. Or, at least that's what she thought.
When her new co-worker walked him, she was struck with a sudden sense of bewilderment. By the name and the pronouns her uncle had used, she had guessed that her new co-worker was a female, but upon seeing the figure walk in there was no protestation that is was a male. She temporarily got caught in a daze, her face blank as she tried to remember that she was supposed to greet him. Snapping out her her trance like state and pulling her small jacket around her even smaller frame, Kera moved forward and thrust a hand out toward him.
"Hi! You must by the family friend that's going to help me out here. My name is Kera Takahashi, it's nice to meet you!"

The rain was really coming down. Sousuke cursed under his breath, pulling his jacket up over his head, though it didn't help much since, by then, the rain had already soaked through most of his clothes. He was in the middle of the Iwatobi district, and he had a long way to go until he was back at Samezuka. The train station was still a few blocks down, too. And he cursed his luck. He'd had a follow up appointment with his doctor that morning, and he'd been fortunate enough that Rin had just sort of eyed him curiously (also slightly concerned, but Sousuke ignored that part) when he said he'd need another day off, promising that it wouldn't happen again. Not with regionals coming up.
Looking around, something dawned on Sousuke: in his running once the rain had stopped, he may have taken a few wrong turns. Nothing about this district seemed familiar, and he didn't want to stop and ask someone for directions, either. His phone was in his pocket, so he could look at his GPS system on there to tell him where the nearest station was, since one couldn't be all that far from here.
He found a house with a canopy on the side of it and leaned against the side of the building, folding his jacket up and holding it in one hand while he dug into his pocket with the other. He wiped at the phone screen that had sprinkles of water dabbled all over it, hoping that it wasn't enough to break the device. That was the last thing he needed right now. As he waited for his phone to search for a signal, he took the moment to lean his head back, trying to catch his breath. His breathing was a little ragged, his heart pulsing erratically. He was starting to wonder if his luck could get any worse.
Shaking his head, the strands dripped down and he glanced down at his undershirt, the black wife beater cleaning to him uncomfortably. He chose to wear it because then all he had to do was take off his jacket for the doctor to examine his shoulder, but now he was wishing he'd bothered to look at the weather forecast. The storm had seemed rather sudden, and, as it continued to brew on, he heard the cackles of lightening overhead. He found, however, that the sounds of the storm were a fitting soundtrack to his current life.
