I have a question for people who don't live in California: Do you even hear about this in your news? Everyday I hear about DeSatan, but rarely about Newsom. It's this just selection bias?
These two little zipped cases can save lives and I know how to use their contents. It took less than an hour to be trained in the use of naloxone, and the government has a program to distribute these kits at no cost. Please find or request the simple training - the more of these kits that are out the more lives can be saved. Opiates are now one of the most abused substances in the United States. In 2012 alone prescription drug abuse such as opiates was the number one cause of death in 17 U.S. States.
But recently it seems local law enforcement agencies are testing out new methods to help decrease opiate overdoses.
