Sarah and Hank had just finished dinner when her phone buzzed against the tabletop. She unlocked the screen with a swipe and squinted down at the message.

"What you smiling at?" she heard Hank say, and she looked up, still beaming.

"Drew wants to stay here this summer."

Post-canon. It's summer, and Sarah and Hank end up with a full house.

Parenthood will truly remain that show

Now that This Is Us is over (and not at its best), do yourself a favour and go watch Parenthood , it's not perfect, but it's not a show full of unnecessary mystery and drama just for the sake of them. The Braverman feels more like a real family than The Pearsons and the show made me sob way more. Last but not least, the finale is pure perfection. Forever one of my fav family dramas ever!
