highlights of nc comicon:

meeting gerard way (twice) and giving him a snowglobe

gerard wearing the feather jacket AND the holey hoodie

gerard repeating the phrase “ray is bae” and laughing

hearing that gerard might be interested in writing a memoir, and that he’s super interested in reading frank’s POV of being in mcr and knows that ray also wants to read it

gerard letting the moderator know that when he ends a sentence with “um... yeah” he kind of forgot what the question was and isn’t sure if he answered it or not

gerard: -points at moderator’s crotch while he’s talking- hey, your microphone is on your crotch!

“safety fun dad. that’s what i am.”

“grant is kind of... magical.”

honestly just the sheer number of people who recognized and liked my cosplay? y’all were wonderful

getting a hug from gerard but not wanting to make it weird so i pulled away pretty quick but he was still hangin on but i couldnt just re-hug him so it ended there

According to an email I received from Ultimate Comics, this past weekend’s NC Comicon had a record breaking attendance of a little over 10,000 fans, and the Gerard Way & Charlie Adlard charity signings raised $15,000 for Duke Children's Hospital!
