I utilize hand-made, purchased, and antique ceramic pieces as place settings for intimate tea times within a uniquely crafted space. The walls are covered with quilted teabags and pinned bags from each tea gathering. Sharing time together, traditions, conversations, and more through the simple act of having tea is the focus of this interactive installation. A nostalgic lemonade stand, the Lemon-Aider is a operated by a caricatured retro housewife, whose good intentions are peppered with indecorous insinuations brought on by the mechanics of operating the juicing device.
