"I thought you'd be gone by the time I woke up..."
Suengri’s in the middle of putting on some pants when he hears Kura speak up from behind, his voice low and groggy. Looking over his shoulder, he raises a brow and cracks an amused grin at the disheveled appearance from the other. He’s in bed, concealed under some blankets to shy away from the beaming sun on the other side, and for a moment, Suengri’s tempted to pull the covers away. But he doesn’t. Instead, he goes to his closet and puts on Konoha’s customary long sleeved shirt.
“Yeah, me too. But I received a carrier message that my mission was postponed for a later time...” It was only backed up by three hours, but it gave him enough time to prepare breakfast for the missing nin while he slept. He had thought of waking him up, too, but well, one look at his sleeping face and he really couldn’t. He then picks up his headband from where it had been recklessly thrown the night before, the floor, and wraps it around his arm.
“There’s food in the kitchen if you’re hungry. I’m heading out to my mission right now so it’s up to you if you want to stay here or not.” Circling around the bed, he goes to Kura’s side who’s still cocooned in sheets, and shamelessly flops his body over him. He softly laughs when he hears a muffled grunt, and Suengri leans in to press a kiss atop his covered head, or what he assumes to be his head. “If you decide to leave, make sure it’s not between 12-2pm. There’s a new rookie being trained for surveillance by one of the lead task force, so they’ll be attentive.”
He gets off of him then, and grabs his flak jacket from a chair. “I’ll see you later, yeah? Don’t sleep in too late or your food will get cold...”
