“I feel ridiculous.”
Deeks looks up as Kensi steps out from behind the curtain. She’s wearing an outfit that looks like it just went a round in the dryer with a pair of scissors. “Well, you certainly look ridiculous.”
She scrunches her nose.
“Let’s see if you feel ridiculous.” Deeks crosses toward her, his hands immediately finding the exposed skin at her hips. “Nope, not ridiculous at all.”
He presses his lips to her neck, trailing kisses up to her jawline.
She tilts her head to give him better access and sighs. “Deeks.”
He gives her a final kiss and pulls back, smiling. “Just giving you something to think about while you’re pretending to be in love with Callen.”
She smirks at that. “Who said anything about pretending?”
“Oh ho, hi-larious.”
“I don’t think she’s joking,” Callen says as he steps out from behind curtain number two. “Who wouldn’t want a piece of this?”
Deeks doesn’t even try to stifle his laughter. If Kensi’s outfit was ridiculous, Callen’s is absurd. His baggy pants are rolled up so high Deeks can see the top of his black combat boots. “Well, I certainly want to get you out of your clothes.”
Callen wiggles his eyebrows.
“Okay, Loverboys,” Kensi says, “we’ve got to go.”
Deeks gives them a little wave. “Have fun, you two. Try not to set off any nukes!”
“Oh, and Deeks?” Kensi says, giving him a quick peck.
“Yes?”
“If you want to get me out of my clothes, bring pliers.”
Callen rolls his eyes as he turns toward the exit. “I liked it better when you guys thought we didn’t know about you two.”
Deeks grins. “No worries, Kens. I’ll just use my teeth.”
Callen’s groan echoes down the hall as he walks away.
