I was watching ftwd in hopes they would fix the clark siblings dynamic to something worth watching.. well shit time to give up on this shit show. I gave it too many chances

Y'all know I actually thought Nick was annoying as hell and I’ve been wanting him to die for a while now so…it doesn’t bug me one bit. Besides, Frank asked to be killed off so it wasn’t like they were just being dicks for the sake of it. If Madison died too like the show might be potentially setting up I’m so here for it. Nick and Madison are/were the worst characters on there. One down, one to go. Maybe without those two there we might actually get some quality Alicia time. The six that were left around Nick’s body are a group I’d be down to watch.

Person arguing Nick is MOC deleted all the asks. Lol. Left these gems. "the writers white-washed frank’s character" and "honestly, white washing isn’t cute no matter if it’s a white person in the role of meant for a poc or a poc in the role of a white person. their race doesn’t automatically disappear just because a tv show/movie says so. poc people play poc characters, you can’t erase that and trying to do so is just ugly."

My brain hurts. Writers can’t “white wash” an Original Character if they wrote said character as white??? What? White passing and or biracial actors play white characters ALL the time. The actors don’t stop being POC, but the characters don’t automatically become POC. How is something so easy this hard to understand?

Are they for real at it again? Frank is biracial, Nick isn’t. If Nick was a MOC then Alicia is a WOC. Simple as that. It’s been irrefutably established that they have the same biological parents meaning they’re both the same race. Either they’re both people of color or neither of them is. Are we going to say that Alicia is a POC? If we’re not then give it a rest. They’re clearly both presented as white on the show. Logic, use it.

haven't the slightest clue w feartwd but like they just killed travis. so basically now it's all whitey pastey cast with 2-ish poc (not really counting ofelia cos mercedes isn't even hispanic or whatever muck up casting they did)

We started with a majority POC cast and this is where we’re at. Red is dead, blue like you said Mercedes doesn’t technically count as Latina and she doesn’t even get screen time anyway. Frank - the actor - may be biracial but Nick - the character - is white. Clearly. He has two white parents. If not then you’d have to tell me that Alicia is biracial too which…no. 

They killed/wrote off all the POC from Mexico and this is what they got instead. A bunch of whites with heavy implied racist tones.

I don't need to see her father to know that. Are you really trying to come in here and act like a white woman could *maybe* be Latino to somehow negate the fact that this show disproportionately kills off their POC characters? Seriously?

Revenge. Same as Charlotte lol. Nick killed one of her protectors. She killed him. They established Charlie chose the Vultures repeatedly in the flashbacks. It makes sense at least for what we’ve seen so far. We’ll see what else they reveal.

This show makes me want to pull every bit of my hair out. It could be SO GOOD. It could actually be amazing...and they have characters like Madison and Nick and storylines like the constant idiocy I had to watch in this episode. WHAT THE FUCK?! This is /stupid/. Alicia, kill all of them. For the love of fuck. They're going to get you killed. Kill them first and lead the rest of the gaggle of idiots that are left.
