     she  tries  the  sweet  approach  to  begin  with  , though  everyone  knows  she’s  anything  but  .   ‘  you  really  don’t  have  to  come  with  me  ,  you  know  .  they’re  just  worried  i  get  kidnapped  or  something  ,  but  ember———  please  ,  you  know  i  can  handle  myself  .  ’   a  little  white  lie  ,  considering  they’re  more worried  about  what  she’ll  do  to  others  than  what  they’ll  do  to  her  .   ‘  just  stay  in  ,  hm  ??  take  the  day  off  !!  doesn’t  that  sound  like  way  more  fun  than  babysitting  me  ?  ’

                    it’d taken a while for sujeong to come to terms with the fact that she was lonely, hence her living in an apartment all by herself-- and it wasn’t really a problem at first. she could pay for the rent by herself, and she’d gotten used to being independent. but sometimes, it seemed like a good idea to have someone else at home with her, hence the roommate ad. 

she didn’t expect someone to see it so quickly after putting it up on the corkboard in one of the cafes nearby nor had she expected the person to be male but she didn’t have any qualms with that. besides, he seemed decent.

“don’t worry about the rent, by the way. i mean, you’re obviously still gonna have to pay at some point but i’m not gonna nag you about it if you can’t pay yet, yeah?” she was just happy to have someone around. “do-- do you think we should come up with some house rules?”

cheeky chuckle passed lips as he finally let paris escape from his clutches, pulling the towel off his head and looked at the MESS he created. the other’s hair was all disheveled now, pulled in every direction, a chaotic sight in comparison to its usual style. miles couldn’t help it, he found childish amusement in seeing the other like this despite the fact that he was the cause of it all.    ❝ 𝐍𝐎, 𝐍𝐎 — 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭. ❞   he spoke in between giggles, moving closer to paris until his legs bracketed the boy’s body from where he sat on the foot of the bed. deft fingers dragged through damp locks, their movement was subconscious almost — hypnotized  as he tried to brush the stray strands out of paris’ eyes at least.     ❝ 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭. 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐨? ❞

      how disappointing. all she wanted was to actually watch the movie she had paid to see but all she could focus on was the two kissing a couple rows in front of them. beck is far from a prude, but that was the kind of make out that should be left for the bedroom - or an empty cinema room, at least. her hand fell into the popcorn that was conveniently placed on the other’s lap and with great aim, she threw one piece of popcorn at the couple, followed by another and another until they stopped to investigate the popcorn. immediately, her attention turned back to the big screen, holding in the laugh that threatened to expose her - she just hoped they could hold it in to.

          nervousness ran through her body. he had the tiny child in her arms, holding the girl tight to her. she bounced her a little, almost as if she was trying to comfort her daughter despite it being her that needed comforting. she hid having a child from the media. only her family knew but she didn’t want to hide anymore. she had to tell the other. taking in a deep breath, she knocked on the door. the moment she did that she felt like she couldn’t breathe. how were they even going to react to seeing her let alone with a child? / @ncnversations​

Minwoo had been a long time resident in his apartment building; he knew nearly everyone and, yes, while he was naturally more on the quiet side and kept to himself he still knew next to everything going on. Especially when the new neighbor moved into the vacant room directly next to his. 

Parties often kept him awake, but he typically thought nothing of it. That was until one of his friends had questioned why he was never there. Everyone goes! they had said, as if it was Minwoo deciding so rudely never to show up. It...hurt. It shouldn’t, surely, but it did. What was wrong with him that he never got invited? Chewing idly at his lower lip with brow furrowed, it took him a moment before finally getting up off his couch as if on auto-pilot and walking out of his apartment, going directly to his neighbor’s door.

Spontaneous confidence wavering, his balled up fist hovered above the wooden surface of the door. What was he doing? Maybe he should turn around, head back to his room - but the other’s room was quiet, the party having ended at least twenty minutes prior. Now was as good a time as any.

So, his hand betrayed him, and he knocked three times and attempted to swallow the quickly forming anxieties screaming for him to turn back.

     miyeon wasn’t one to get caught up like this but here she was, laying on her bed and awaiting a reply from the other. she felt like a silly school girl as she awaited their reply. never in a million years did she think an innocent meet and greet a few months ago was going to end up like this. god, she hated feeling like this. they were sweet, kind and obviously attractive but they were in a relationship. it was all over social media and news websites but miyeon was finding it difficult to stay away.

miyeon: i can’t keep pursing this. miyeon: you’re with someone else. miyeon: what is the point of pursing feelings if you’re already in a relationship?

    and with that she locked her phone and threw it across her bed, a loud sigh falling from her lips as she did so. this wasn’t how is was meant to go. she wasn’t meant to fall for them even in the slightest but at this point they were all she could think about. // @ncnversations

Minjae liked a challenge and the younger was one. Spoiled, entitled and bratty, Tai was exactly the type of person the conman enjoyed breaking. He wasn’t particularly happy to play babysitter at first, but it was a mission only he could successfully accomplish. Minjae was the best in his field. Getting into a person’s head and mess with it until he had them exactly where he wanted, compliant was second nature to the man by now. He walked inside the room they kept the younger in, eyes cold and voice authoritative, leaving no place for arguing, as he ordered the men ‘taking care’ of the kid to get lost. “How are you doing, Tai?” his tone lost its dangerous edge to something softer, gaze softening as well as he walked behind him to untie his binds.
