19. What do you look for in a bias?
Oh boy... I honestly don’t know? I look at my biases and they are all over the place, but if I were to narrow it down- a unique sense of humor? They reflect an individual aspect of myself in some way?
Like, let me list some biases- Vernon, Yuta, Kihyun, Yesung, Lay, Youngjae, and Jisung (Stray Kids).
They all are uniquely themselves in humor, personality, and I relate to them somehow. When it comes to my biases, I don’t actively seek out a member that I am the most attracted to or how they look. For example, for as much as I love Vernon with my whole being, he is not the first SVT member I would date in a heartbeat. I bias him because I see myself in him when it comes to dealing with cultural issues, moving around at a young age, and not fitting in very well in the real world/societal standards.
So yeah... When it comes to choosing a bias, I let them choose me over a period of time, and I allow myself to relate to them through their quirks.
