East Okement River by Christian Hacker Via Flickr: One from a few weeks back following parts of the Tarka trail near Okehampton. This woodland path following the East Okement River is wonderfully secluded and wild - I want to return in a few weeks when the leaves are colourful. I do realise that the image is tilted to the right but if I straighten it most of the little waterfall gets cropped off - that's why I left it as it is.

The big landscape views leave me kind of lost. I am more of a macro shooter. My friend, Halina, says I have a painter's eye when it comes to photography. I do like the experience of closer examination within way-too-long-deliberated composing. My flickr set of the April NYC trip is evidence of my photographic style.
