Next Day Check Up || Melissa & John
That morning John woke up so much later than he normally did. The sun was shinning right on his face which made opening his eyes all the worse. Forcing himself up and out of bed and into his bathroom to take a shower, hoping that would help. Luckily for him the shower did wake him a little bit and how he was able to see more clearly than he did that night when the EMT, Stiles, and Derek was there. When he realized that it was the EMT there he tried to get rid of them as best as he could, agreeing to stopping by the hospital the next morning for a check up to make sure that he was in-fact okay. The last thing he wanted going around was Sheriff sent to hospital for passing out. He didn't need everyone thinking he was becoming an alcoholic.
Getting out of the shower he got dressed and ready to go to work. When he made his way down stairs he gathered all of his things, but stopped to take something to get rid of his headache, knowing he wouldn't get anything done with one. Once he was set he left and made his way to the station, hoping that no one heard what happened. He went straight to his office and away from the looks he was getting, everyone wanting to ask, but knew it was best not to.
Around lunch John gave in and decided to head to the hospital, knowing that he needed to even though he really didn't want to. He made his way for the first time since he arrived out of his office and back out to his car and started to drive to the hospital. Once arriving he parked in his usual spot before going in. He knew that Melissa was most likely there and he was going to go see her, but was hoping that she did not know. Now keeping his head down a little he made his way to the nurses station he knew Melissa was stationed at, crossing his fingers that she wouldn't know, the last thing they needed was for Melissa to have a break down and or start worrying about him.
