Letter to NDK 2014

Dear NDK, I'm dissatisfied with this year's NDK, and it's only been TWO hours so far. My main issue has to do with rooming. I bought an atrium room for this convention back in JANUARY, but when I went to check in (before 6 may I add) I was informed that they gave my room away. And their response? Put us (the people rooming with me) in a hotel 5-10 miles away and I couldn't get there because I don't have a car! After arguing with the manager we managed to get a hotel within walking distance. When I went to make a formal complaint to your staff, they brushed us off, saying that it was our fault and that we must have come after 6, when we did in fact come before 6. The worst part was after I was done talking to your operations people, I heard someone say that they had managed to get an atrium room a WEEK before the convention! I have a diabetic person sharing this room with me, and she needs to have easy access to her supplies which is hard to do when you are two hotels over! I am very unhappy with this and wish to at least have to right to make a formal complaint that is taken seriously.

Sealing troll makeup?

Okay. There was this precious Condy at NDK 2013 that told us Ben Nye sealing spray, hairspray, and baby powder would keep the makeup on incredibly well-- but we can't remember what order we were supposed to put it on! If anyone knows this trick or hopefully she finds this, could you help my cosplay friends and I? D;
