Ndrv3 boys getting their baby to stop crying? It can be tough if their s/o has to step in Welcome btw!
this is gunna be hard because some boys are hard to write… For me its Korekiyo, sorta Rantaro, and maybe Kaito in this specific situation. And uh, i sorta took this more as “the boys trying to stop their baby from crying but it *usually* doesn’t work so s/o has to step in” Also I will specify baby genders. Also thanks, i’m new to this and have no idea what i’m doing. - Mod Himiko
* he tries to cradle the baby which usually works but this time it doesn’t even help
* he is very scared for himself and this baby right now because he can’t even make himself stop crying, how is he supposed to help this poor baby
* his s/o steps in, and sings the baby a beautiful lullaby, putting him to sleep. takes a couple of tries though.

* he’s pretty calm about this situation actually
* his baby girl cries pretty often after all
* for some reason, this kid likes to be pat on the head or kissed when they are crying
* so he just kisses his precious child’s forehead
* if nothing works, his s/o has to calm the baby with her favorite toy
* he probably scares and amuses his baby at the same time
* she is a very loud crier, like her dad (except, his cries are usually not genuine)
* so, in typical Kokichi fashion, he tries to play games, and make his child laugh away the tears
* so this time he tried peek-a-boo
* when his S/O came in, there was a crying Ouma and a crying child
* this man is a mess and so is his child by the age of 7
* his s/o had to make funny faces in order to make the child cheer up, and Kokichi was pretty damn pissed because he was basically doing the same thing
* “no more peek-a-boo for this week” kokichi reminded himself
* he researched a lot about babies when Prof. Idabashi was creating his babies AI.
* he was very scared for having this baby
* but oh gee, the first time his child cried no matter how much he researched he wasn’t finding any good answers
* unlike him, his baby had a crying function so he was very… “unused” to this.
* he tries to say its going to be ok and such
* he also pokes the babies nose, but to no avail
* his s/o saved the day, realizing his baby was crying because they were hungry
* yes they have a hunger system, and a way to eat
* idabashi really outdid himself
Korekiyo Shinguji Aka I cannot write this character: the imagine
* Korekiyo knew a lot about babies and how to take care of them
* he never realized how hard it was to calm a baby down
* he thinks “what would my sister do?”
* he told the baby bedtime stories
* it worked a little, he supposed?
* when his S/O asked why his baby was crying he simply responded
* just his s/o’s presence calmed the baby. ouch.
* Gonta did not know anything about how to raise a child
* he just assumed they would do it the way his wolf family did
* but S/O quickly shot that idea down
* so when his child started crying
* FULL GENTLEMAN MODE ACTIVATE
* he gives his baby girl flowers and pretty things
* it actually calmed her down without needing his s/o
funny how the one who knows the least calmed his baby down without S/O
* his boy was usually pretty silent and didn’t even cry coming out of the puss
* so when he started crying
* he knew something was wrong
* he tried to sing, cradle, and praise the baby as his mini-luminary, and best Kaito jr.
* his s/o was shocked even more about how their baby was crying
* his s/o later found out that the baby had a cut in their leg from tripping, and he got immediate bandages, kisses, and playtime to make up for it

* His baby girl didn’t cry all too much, but, oddly enough, cried over more small things than things like injuries, hunger, etc.
* He was just eating when suddenly a wail broke through the house
* “well shit” he thought to himself
* he went to his babies room, only to find a very sad and scared child
* you see, ryoma’s kid got really scared without her teddy bear or any plush toy really
* it was later found behind the couch by his S/O
* his s/o’s a life saver, really
