You're always listening to them, even when all they're doing is crying, and you don't know what that means to them but it means a lot to you.

An interesting scenario where Frisk is able to hear Chara even outside of dialogue boxes, I think it's a really neat exploration of their characters!

Chara's behavior is really interesting to think about, as we see it from Frisk's perspective, so we don't technically know why they act the way they do. As a reader, though, we can infer why, which is neat!

Chara is always such an interesting character, & it's fascinating to see it from an outside perspective. Sure, we can reasonably guess why Chara is acting so upset at the way Toriel is attacking, but Frisk has no context as to why they're suddenly acting so differently from what they've... seen? heard? previously.
