NEATCHAT: the barn

summary as told by sinking ships:

Pearl kissed Finn and embarrassed herself. Max called Bradley a whore. Some new names were deliberated for Typo. Sam found a home on the floor. Imogen and Finn won the award for most antisocial. Killian is going after the freshman blood. Levi W played the role of the audible peanut gallery. Elias and Max became increasingly hostile. Levi T was hot as fuck, as per usual. What I miss? Someone fill me in.

Max

Max made his way toward the barn. Was this the place? He had no idea where he was, but his phone made a handy GPS when it came to times like this. A secret rave in the middle of nowhere sounded like a terrible idea, but he was prepared for whatever the night had in store. He hadn't enjoyed himself at the bonfire. Max made his way toward the door, suffering through the queue before finally getting inside, the strobe lights a shock to the system. He approached the bar, determined to get a shot of the strongest stuff they had to offer.

Pearl

"What's the worst that could happen, your dick gets pecked off by an owl?" Pearl's laughter was wild and infectious like the howl of a mad coyote but it did nothing to convince the poor neon painted freshman to enter the creaking exterior towards the pulsing thrum of the bass within. She glanced over her shoulder to check for Bradley, but the only figure in sight was wearing a bizarre kind of goat mask. "Jesus. Who invited Billy Goat's Gruff?"

Finn

Finn O'Callaghan had a passionate apathy towards clubbing. He did not dislike it, but he ardently made efforts to avoid it wherever possible for risk embarrassing himself and others. Dancing was a piece of his past he had left behind. His days of reckless hedonism had come to a close, and at twenty one years of age he was finally ready to grow up and accept the fact that he was no longer cut out for spending all hours out downing pints and drawing penises on letterboxes for the 'bants'. Drinking culture back home was far different to university - if anything, in the states it was more extreme. It was expected of him, and so once again Finn found himself on the wrong side of the bar as he was slipped another whiskey and tonic, strobe lights flashing against his skin as he attempted not to think about the days it would take to catch up on sleep missed simply for the sake of pleasing others. "No thanks, I don't like dancing-" he began, at the feeling of a tap to his back, swigging from his glass.

Elias

The contrast was alarming, but added fuel to the fire of excitement Elias felt. Outside was nothing, but inside was everything. He looked around, taking in every inch of the rave before he moved through the crowd in search of the bar to grab himself a drink. Elias was ready to down a few beers and dance the night away. Making it to the bar, Elias wedged in and claimed a beer for himself, taking it and backing away from the crowd at the bar. "You'd think no one here knew what alcohol was."

Bradley

Hanging on a freshman's back like a darkly glittering rucksack, Bradley tightened her arms around his neck when they met turbulence -- laughing over the gargling noise he made as a result. "Pearl, this is the worst horse ride I--" Glancing around, she realised she'd lost Pearl long ago. A true modern tragedy. "Shit, unleash the beast." When he didn't budge, she exhaled dramatically. "Put me down, freak." Hopping off, she pushed through the barn door a few steps away and ignored the dozy freshman as he straggled behind her on her voyage to the bar.

Kamryn

Kamryn didn't know if she really wanted to go to this rave it seemed kind of sketchy and when she got to the barn. She adjusted her clothes then walked inside looking around at everyone and stood against the wall still trying to feel out the scene deciding if she was going to say or go home.

Killian

After the bonfire, Killian was wary over any gathering that involved Atticus students, though he knew he wouldn't be able to avoid them, not with something like a rave coming up. Hopefully with the drugs and booze pulsing through their veins along with the music, they would be more likely not to end up in a brawl. Reaching the barn, he waited in the queue for a long enough time that he debated just going home instead, but finally he was at the front and getting inside. All at once he was assaulted with sounds and sights not foreign to the average rave, and with the dimmed lights he could hardly make out familiar faces. Deciding to get a drink, he made his way to the bar.

Levi T

A rave. It was the perfect opportunity to let loose and have some fun. He'd dressed up for the occasion, bright colors perfect for once he was inside. The strobe lights took Levi a second to adjust to but once he had, he'd thrown himself into the mix of it all. A drink in hand, Levi searched for a good place to hang out while searching for familiar faces.

Max

Max noticed Elias approach, nodding his head in response. "I think they might be on a little more than alcohol," he said. He ordered himself a drink, leaning back against the bar. "I'm already bored."

Elias

Taking a sip from his drink, Elias glanced around and quickly determined Max was right. "A bunch of Atticus students on drugs. I'm gonna bet you won't be bored for very long. Besides, you're not supposed to hang out at the bar, you're supposed to go dance, let loose, forget the world."

Ariella

Ariella knew pretty damn well she had been stressing herself out too much lately, and a night out clubbing seemed like the perfect opportunity to let herself loose and just... Have some fun. Dressed in a nice black dress that made the colour of her hair pop, the redhead walked into the place, looking around with a small forming smile on her face, searching for the first person she could greet.

Bradley

Clasping the vodka lemonade she'd ordered from the bar top, she walked with it more like an accessory than a drink -- she'd already sworn she'd seen a goat with legs outside, so alcohol probably wasn't the best idea. Spotting Levi Teller, she clasped his shoulder with words already spilling freely. "Pearl, I wondered where you'd-- oh, shit." Letting out a laugh, she glanced around. Hadn't she seen blonde hair here a second ago? "Erm... Sorry, wrong person. Not that you wouldn't suit the name Pearl, or anything."

Levi W

There hadn't been a time where Levi was unprepared for a secret rave. He had been out of the flat when the message had reached him and he had told people he'd meet them there. Finding the barn was a little of challenge, but it added to the anticipation of what he might expect. The brunette hadn't bothered with waiting and strutted up to a friend in the queue before quickly making it into the barn. Mischievously grinning as the lights greeted him, Levi's eyes moved around quickly before he found himself getting a drink at the bar.

Max

"I'm not really into dancing right now, need to juice up," he said, laughing half-heartedly as he leaned in to order a shot. He noticed Levi approach, a chuckle erupting. "Aren't you two playmates? Lovely," he said, downing a second shot and waving the bartender over once more.

Pearl

"Ariella! Jackson not around?" Pearl used the girl's wild and fiery locks as a makeshift homing beacon to a face she recognised. "Aren't you a little overdressed for a rave?" The idle blonde took a time to examine her own outfit which had been scooped from the mess of her bedroom floor just mere minutes before she'd left; a vest top and shorts and to her dismay, odd socks, one with the face of a cheeky garden gnome and the other flashing neon blue under the lighting. "Fuck a duck, I look like a tit, are you serious?"

Levi T

The last thing he expected was for someone to reach out for him, Levi jumping and looking to see it was Bradley. "Nope, definitely not Pearl. But you know what, I think I do suit the name. I should just go by Pearl from now on, give the real Pearl a run for her money."

Levi W

Levi laughed, throwing back a shot and waiting for the bartender Max called over to arrive before ordering drinks for them all. "I'll make sure you to add your name to the playdate next time - I know how long you've been dying to join," he winked, lightly nudging Elias' arm before adding, "we play with many balls."

Finn

"Can I get you a drink?" Finn began, turning to the punter beside him, "No? Good. 'Cause I'm broke. I'll happily let you buy me one, though," he continued, shotting the last of his whiskey with a gasp of approval.

Imogen

Walking into a rave, Imogen could only smile at her surroundings. However, she didn't expect anything great out of it. In fact, it only seemed like an ordinary kind of rave. Still, she attempted to find something entertaining to do. It was better than just sitting around doing nothing. Passing by people, the brunette made her way toward the bar before grabbing any random person's arm she could and brought them a bit closer to her. "Y'know, I'm hoping this rave will just turn out to be a giant orgy," she said ever so casually.

Ariella

Ariella turned around once she heard her name being called, giving Pearl a small smile once she approached her. "Hi to you too, blondie. Um, I don't think so?" She replied, shrugging her shoulders and scanning place before letting her gaze settle on the girl in front of her. "It's just a dress, Pearl. I don't think I'm overdressed at all... Compared to what people are wearing around here. But I'm in serious need of a drink."

Elias

Elias rolled his eyes at Max and Levi, but he was more than happy to accept a drink. "Now that would be interesting. I think we could show Max a good time, we'll just have to bump him up to the top of the list. So many people to please, but only two of us." Elias took a shot, downing it with ease. "Drink up Max. If you're really that bored, I'm sure Levi and I can help you out there."

Finn

The crimonologist nearly choked when he heard Imogen's words, pounding his fist against his chest to relieve himself as his chest heaved before he finally caught his breath once more. "Fuck sake, Imogen. You don't half know how to make an entrance. Do us a favour and buy us a whiskey, I just about coughed it all out thanks to that little quip."

Bradley

"Throw a few homicidal tendencies in there and people won't know the difference," she informed. "Aren't you going to dance? I feel like you should mix up the vibe in here and do some salsa." Sipping dispassionately from her cup, she scanned the swaying crowd.

Levi T

"I might not be able to pull that off, that's a Pearl only thing." Levi took another sip from his beer, eyeing the crowd. "I was gonna dance once I have a drink or two, gotta get a bit warmed up. But you know what I think everyone would want to see? You dancing out there."

Max

Max just rolled his eyes at the comments, finishing off his drink. "What are you two? Escorts? Do you entertain people for money?" he asked. "Because I have not a penny to my name."

Bradley

Bradley pulled a face in response, accidentally locking eyes with a passing stranger as she did. No doubt they'd think they'd just witnessed a brain aneurysm. "Maybe later, Lewis." It was a wild stab in the dark, one that she hoped the hum of bass would help patch over. "Anyway, it's been real. We laughed, we cried. I need a drink though, so..." Blinking awkwardly as she realised she still had one in her hand, she pressed it into his. "A present." Slipping back through the crowd after, she landed herself by the bar.

Imogen

Hearing Finn's comment, her smile only grew wider before patting his back and keeping her hands in her pockets this time. "Don't be such a baby, Finn. I'm positive at least more than five raves that take place in New York have orgies." Glancing over to the drinks though, she pursed her lips before bringing her attention back to the guy. "Fine, but only because I'm getting some anyway." Gesturing over to the bottle of whiskey, she asked for several glasses and handed him one. "There. Better?"

Levi W

He downed the shot as it arrived, his face barely showing the burn he felt at the back of his throat. "We're part of a classy establishment, we don't do anything off the books," he joked, accompanied by a loud laugh, "I could never take your money, Max, that would be far too cruel. If I started charging you for my company, you'd never be able to buy a single drug again - I could never hurt you like that." Levi took a large swig of his drink before passing it and another to his friends. "Speaking of, there's no time like the present."

Pearl

Pearl offered Ariella her silver hip flask of putrid, last minute concoctions. "It's wild seeing you here, like a bobcat on a picnic. It just doesn't make sense. You know what you should might be fun, though, if I set you up," she purred against the thrum of the bass and cast her twinkling gaze into the crowd, her stomach doing a backwards somersault when she settled on Finn, "Houston, we have a match. Ari, you should totally go for it and fuck Finn. I just personally think it'd be really good for you."

Finn

"Much," Finn remarked, tipping the whiskey down the shot hatch, the liquid gone in a burning flash before he allowed another refreshed gasp to pass his lips and slammed his glass down back on the bar. "You're an absolute angel. I s'pose you're gonna' ask me to dance now, ain't ya? Is that your thing?" Finn commented, trying and failing to suppress a roll of his eyes as he stumbled, falling towards the raven-haired girl briefly before he righted his posture again, his hand firmly on the bar. "Bloody hell, that was strong."

Elias

"Just for the record, I'm sure Levi and I would make excellent escorts, but you would get our services for free. You should take that as a compliment," Elias took yet another shot after that before he preoccupied himself with his next bit of fun. Elias was always more likely to get drunk than he was to do drugs and get high, but this was a rave. It was almost a requirement. "I wonder if I'll make it back to my room this time..."

Bradley

Sniping her straw between her lips, she took what she intended to be a large sip from her whiskey. Coming up empty, her brow furrowed as she inspected for a problem -- realising suddenly and horrifyingly that she didn't even have a cup in hand, just a straw. Tossing it to the floor beneath her feet, she sighed. Clearly, the tab had been stronger than she'd realised. Snaring her attention on a flame of red in the crowd, she wandered and wound up by Ariella. "Hi. Can we postpone my spanking? I'm not feeling the whole awkward silence today." Leaning against the wall, Pearl and Bradley looked the perfect image of the devil and the angel on Ariella's shoulders -- if the angel in question happened to be Lucifer. "What are we talking about?"

Max

Drugs were the last thing her needed, but at a time like this, he really didn't care. "Well, I'm incredibly flattered," he said with a smirk, narrowing his eyes at Elias. "Didn't make it home last time?" he asked, pushing his empty glass toward the bartender. "I'm drunk already, so we're in for a good one."

Levi W

Levi's tongue ran over his lip as he lent against the bar - finishing off his drink and dropping the plastic to the floor. Pulling out the bag, he distributed a pill to the two with him. "It's quite a story," he responded before his eyes fell to Elias.

Imogen

Grabbing her one, she swallowed the drink in one gulp before letting out a sigh and licking her lips, keeping her eyes on the rest of the drinks around. Until Finn continued to speak up. She let out a giggle and shook her head. "Oh, if you only knew the real me." She rose an eyebrow at the word 'dance' before shrugging. "Depends. Are you a terrible dancer? If so, maybe. Just for the sake of embarrassing you," she teased, continuing to laugh. "Are you a lightweight, Finn?" It was certainly her just being curious. "If so, maybe it's better if you stop. I'd rather not carry you back home."

Ariella

The redhead watched the blonde and chuckled, shrugging her shoulders while scanning the place around her. "I knew everybody would be here and I needed a little fun so I basically just... Popped up here." She explained, considering moving to the bar to order something before strolling around. "What? Me? No, no. No "Prince Charming's" for me, tonight." Ariella flushed, shaking her head. "No Finn. But I'm certainly up for some dancing with you, in a bit."

Conor 

Walking into the barn, Conor couldn't find any of his friends... If he could call them friends; really, they were just people he knew. So he started walking around aimlessly until he found a familiar blonde talking to a redhead. He was familiar with both of them and maybe he could start a conversation while avoiding the other freshmen, because he knew for a fact Pearl intimidated half of them. Pushing through the crowd, Conor appeared right next to the blonde, wrapping his arm around her shoulder “Hello there, Pearl. Missed me?”

Levi T

Levi raised an eyebrow at Bradley, confused but his smile never disappeared. "A present..?" It was only after she was gone that he looked down and spotted what was in his hand. Out of uncertainty, he placed the cup down somewhere else, content with his own drink for the moment. Levi took a sip, walking slowly around. He stopped eventually, spotting Pearl ( he wondered what would happen if he did try to pretend to be Pearl ) and Ariella. And that was the direction Bradley had gone in. Levi's eyes were glued to Ariella for longer than they should have been, eventually breaking his glance. After a peptalk to himself, Levi wandered over there--shy as he smiled. "Would you guys mind if I steal Ari for a bit?"

Finn

"What's the real you?" Finn posed with a raise of his brow, his index finger circling the edge of his glass as he leant his elbow against the bar. "Or is it some mystery puzzle that I have to work out myself? Do I have to levels and shit to unlock your history like some shit online reality game?" Whilst Finn was hardly talking the hind legs off a donkey, he was certainly more conversational than usual, and his perpetual scowl had loosened a little with the presence of alcohol in his bloodstream. "Actually, I used to be semi-pro. Could've had the world at my feet. Literally, my feet, because feet are for dancing, you know. But there was a girl, and we had a row and I quit. I quit and came here." He expelled a blown raspberry, before straightening himself out once more, righting his posture. "No, no. Not a lightweight. I just started drinking an hour or two before the rest of you. I'm fine, honestly, Imogen. Just dandy."

Bradley

"Feel free to abduct her," Bradley replied, nudging an elbow gently into Ariella to stir her. "She's being about as much fun as a dead ferret. No offence."

Max

"Bon appetit," he said, taking the pill and swallowing it down with the alcohol he had left in his glass. "What did I even just take? I probably should have asked that question first."

Elias

Unable to help himself, Elias erupted into laughter. "Nope! I ended up in a parking lot miles away. I'm still not sure how it happened and I still don't know what happened to my shirt. I woke up shirtless, wandered until some lady asked me if I was okay, and then I called Levi to come get me. Not that he was in much better condition than I was." Elias took the pill handed to him after his story telling, happily taking it. "No, never ask what you're taking. You can trust Levi."

Elizabeth

Elizabeth made her way through the crowd of people that had formed inside the barn, wrinkling her nose at sweaty bodies and dodging elbows. She approached the only few people she knew, smiling sweetly at Conor, Bradley and Pearl. "Sawyer's busy, I've been set free and thought I'd check out the Atticus night-life."

Ariella

Ariella was watching people walking past her with a lazy look on her face, breathing out nearly in boredom. Not that Pearl was boring or anything - it's just that she wasn't used to this kind of event. She grinned once she saw the familiar face of Levi, his words making her flush under the dimmed down lights. Coming over to him, she got on her tiptoes slightly, so she could tell him - right by his ear. "Thank you, I seriously need a drink and it's nice to see you here."

Levi W

"In my defence, I still had my shirt - perhaps, I lost a couple different pieces of clothing but I had a shirt." Levi smirked before taking the pill quickly, knocking back another drink straight after. "You can," he agreed with his friend before shrugging, "Them ones were Louis Vuitton's, if I didn't get mixed up."

Pearl

"Don't be so fucking rude, Bradley. We were playing with her," Pearl glared at Levi as if he were about to rip a prized rattle away from her until Conor distracted her five second attention span long enough to release Ariella from her tender clutches, "not really but you're here now, so you'll do just fine."

Killian

Killian watched from the bar, entertained with the dancing masses. Boozed up and high people never failed to be entertaining. Spotting a familiar face, he nodded once in hello, making his way towards them. "Where've you been?"

Levi T

"You looked like you needed a bit of saving so I thought I'd come and help you. Besides, I was happy to see you, Tiny." With a chuckle, he led the way to the bar and ordered himself a new drink. "I have to admit, I'm a bit surprised to see you out at a rave."

Max

Max's eyes narrowed at the name, nodding his head. "Alright, well... I have no idea what that is," he said, but he didn't much care. As long as the drug didn't kill him, he'd deal with it.

Bradley

"Rude is all I know," Bradley hummed, reaching out to catch the freshman from earlier so she could steal his drink. "Who's your albino friend, Pearl?"

Imogen

Lightly taping the counter, she pursed her lips as she actually stood in thought. The idea of telling him was on her mind, but it soon disappeared once his idea interested her. "Now that you mention it, I'll leave it as a mystery and have you go through levels. Not sure what those could be, but it sounds amusing. To me anyway. Question is, do you think you deserve to know me and would you be freaked out if you knew the truth?" Even without knowing Finn all that well, she quite enjoyed how their conversation was going so far. Not just because it was entertaining her, but for once in a long time, she was interested in getting to know someone. "No offense, but I could never see you as a person who's into dancing. Maybe you should teach me sometime." It was more of a joke in her eyes, but her tone was rather serious. "I can't believe you came here after quitting though. I never found this place super fascinating." Finally taking a seat at the bar, Imogen placed her elbows on the counter and her head on her palm.

Elias

"Max, do you party at all? I feel like you're a grandpa," Elias teased as he tried to see if Levi had anything else. Mixing drugs was always a dangerous game, he knew that.

Conor

"You know how to make someone feel loved, Pearl" Rolling his eyes, he pointed at the redhead that was now talking to a guy he didn't know "What’s up with them?" Then his attention was drawn to the girl pearl was talking to before he had interrupted "Albino? For real?

Bradley

"I respect the condition or whatever. Get well soon," she nodded, holding up her hand to do the Vulcan salute as if that held any meaning of condolences whatsoever. It was clear at this point, she didn't really care if she made sense.

Ariella

"Thank you." She told once more, chuckling while taking a seat by the bar with a soft sigh. "I considered wearing high heels - and I wouldn't be that tiny, then - but I would literally die with those animals in my feet so I went 'nah'." Ariella grinned, looking over at him. She ordered her own drink, leaning over the counter. "I am surprised, too. I needed a distraction. But I will probably be leaving real soon. To sleep. I always prefer sleep over parties like this, that's my secret. Shh, don't let it spread."

Levi W

"They're good," he replied before laughing, putting the bag away into his pocket, "don't fret, you'll be fine. I wouldn't want you getting hurt." That was directed to the both of them before he was picking up another drink and taking a swig, his eyes scanning the barn.

Finn

"No. I don't care enough to be freaked out by anything. I think you'd get away with it," The lad began, signalling the bartender for another two glasses of whiskey. "Make mine a double," he mouthed, before turning his attention back to Imogen, hand supporting his head, which was beginning to feel a little drowsy. Despite finding most of the company at Atticus sleep-inducing, Imogen was making him want to stay awake - his liver, however, had another idea in mind. "That's evil," he commented, in response to her plan, though a grin tugged at his lips. "It was more the fact that it was far away than that it was interesting - but who cares about that. C'mon, I'll teach you now. This is a once-in-a-lifeline opportunity!" He slurred, a laugh passing his lips as he downed his second drink, shoving a glass into Imogen's hand as he pulled her from her seat, leading her to the dance floor. "Okay, do you trust me?" He asked, passing her emptied glass to a stranger, who's disgruntled questions were met with ignorance.

Max

"Yes, I party," he tried not to laugh, but it spilled out anyway. "I've been off my game lately. I need to work on that," he said, though the gram of coke he consumed before leaving would likely argue that. Max just nodded his head at Levi's response, satisfied with it.

Levi T

"I couldn't imagine wearing heels to something like this, the thought alone makes my feet hurt," Levi shook his head. "Your secret is safe with me, promise! But I'll be really sad when you leave. Who else is gonna be able to give my all the cuteness that you do?" It was natural, the way he flirted with Ariella--natural enough Levi didn't feel nervous or awkward. "Why do you need a distraction, by the way? You can talk to me about anything if you need to."

Cynthia

Cindy didn't know why she showed up to the stupid thing. She hated big parties like this, raves or whatever, school was all she really needed to focus on but Killian had said she needed to get out more, and so of course she was going to listen to him. Though she wasn't going to admit that. She pushed her way through the bodies packed together, wanting to just get to the bar to find the stupid boy who invited her.

Elias

"Fuck yeah, you need to work on that. No one likes a gramps." Elias patted Max on the back, the way a friend might do. "Well, I'm gonna go dance and let the night take me away. You losers are welcome to join if you want." And that ended up being how Elias lost his shirt already, casually taking it off and tossing it aside. He was going to end up getting hot and sweaty dancing with people, so why make himself hotter?

Bradley

Bradley took the Vulcan salute she'd thrust in Conor's direction and imitated slitting her throat with it. "Oh. Hi, Elizabeth." The sharp edges of her words had been whittled down significantly where Sawyer's counterpart was concerned since their last conversation. "You look... nice, I guess."

Pearl

Pearl sniffed the air as though a foul, wild beast had been parading around the nearby crowds. It became clear after a minute that she was referring to Elizabeth. "Is nowhere sacred anymore?" It was bizarre to refer to a rave as sacred ground but Pearl stamped her heel into it anyway. She was every bit close to throwing a toddler tantrum.

Ariella

Looking over at him with a small chuckle, Ariella pushed a strand of her hair behind her ear while nodding. "Well, you can always come with me and we can have a Netflix marathon. Which, to me - would probably be way more fun than all of this." She pointed to their surroundings. "I've been just a bit too stressed lately, needed to get loose - but that's really, really nice of you, Levi. Thank you."

Killian

When the small blonde hadn't seemed to have heard him, Killian called out to her. "Cin! Hey!"

Levi T

Taking his beer, Levi took a sip as he looked at Ari over the top of the glass--still smiling. "Well I'm glad it's nothing serious. And you know what, if you decide to leave and want company then I would happily ditch all this to hang out with you. I think that'd be ten times better."

Levi W

"Go enjoy," he smirked, taking his shirt as he tossed it and tying it around his waist - he could pull off the look, he'd only worn a grey tee anyway, "I'll catch up in a bit." Levi bit his lower lip idly, his gaze to Max. "How long before you're over there also?"

Pearl

"Max!" Pearl screamed into an opening in the crowd with all the furore of Phoebe Buffay screaming for Judy to 'pick up the sock'. "I don't think he hears me. I'll try going supersonic, hang on."

Elias

Elias pouted, the neediness and attention-seeking part of him kicking it. He spun on his heel, Elias skipping his way to the crowd and sliding between people until he found a spot for himself and started to dance, letting himself get lost in the music.

Cynthia 

Cynthia was pouting to herself, gnawing on her thumb nail and trying to see over the shoulders of the giants around her. Fuck them she thought, fucking tall people. She huffed, leaning against the bar until she heard the familiar sound of Killian's voice, perking up and spotting up with a sigh of relief, "Why am i here?!" She shouts at him, pushing between to rather large men until she was safely by Killian's side, pressing close to avoid being pushed around by any of the other party goers to fucked to realize they were elbowing her.

Imogen

"I guess it'll be one of those moments where we'll have to wait and see then." She furrowed her eyebrows as he motioned for two more glasses, but didn't complain at all. Instead, she went back to smiling then shook her head at him. "You're crazy," she teased and lightly nudged his arm with her elbow, beginning to laugh again. "Hey, hey! It's not evil when you were the one who came up with it in the first place." Noticing his facial expression, Imogen rose an eyebrow, crossing her arms. "You don't smile often, do you, Finn?" Deep down, she curious as to why he wanted it to be a longer distance, except she kept that curiosity to herself since she didn't quite want to ruin this night for the both of them. She was quite surprised about his eagerness, but followed along. "Alright, alright, I'm going." Taking the drink from him, she gulped it and walked right behind him, trying not to be so sluggish to catch up to him. Watching his actions, she giggled before nodding without thinking.

Conor

"I don't have a condition" He shook his head, staring at both girls for a few moments before covering his ears, nodding "Alright. Go for it, Pearl"

Ariella

Tracing the rim of her glass with her finger while looking at him, she grinned before taking a quick sip of the liquid. "Now, that's what I'm talking about. Before we leave, though. We need to dance. Seriously. Just try to not get too impressed by my moves - again." She remarked playfully, getting up from her seat and reaching out to tug his hand.

Bradley

Shaking her head sympathetically, Bradley patted his arm. "Denial is normal." When Pearl screamed, she shrank away in protest. "You sound worse than my hamster when you sucked it up in a hoover. Rest in peace."

Max

"Soon, I guess," he replied to Levi, sighing heavily when he heard Pearl's voice faintly in the crowd. "Was that a hallucination, or did I actually just hear Pearl's mating cry?" he asked. "Adventure?" He sighed, shrugging a shoulder as he drifted into the crowd, eyes scanning faces until he recognized Pearl's. "Bonjour. You look especially whore-ish tonight. Love it."

Levi T

Levi raised his eyebrows in questioning, but he took down the rest of his drink and took her hand. "You haven't seen my dance moves yet, so really I should be telling you not to get too impressed." At the crowd dancing, Levi stayed closer to Ariella, not wanting to lose her in the crowd of people.

Levi W

"You got it in one," he laughed with a nod, "I don't see why not." Levi followed by his side before reaching the others, giving them a quick smile.

Killian

Killian watched her walk over to him, pressing herself against his side as he ordered her a drink. "Because you spend far too much of your time locked up in your dorm or in the theater. Have a little fun, babe."

Finn

"I've been told I don't smile at all. But clearly that's a lie." His hands clasped Imogen's, about to twirl her beneath his arm before he realised the song that was playing, stopping dead, his eyes widening as he exclaimed a heavily accented "No way!" In an instant he was backing away from Imogen, grin stitched across his lips as he spread his arm wide, creating a space around him. "Immy," he drunkenly shouted, over the beat of 'Time of My Life', "It's dirty dancing! The chorus is coming - we're going to do the lift." Lowering himself into a crouch he outstretched his arms, ready to catch her should she fly in his direction. "Trust me, I've got this. I can do this shit in my sleep. You trust me don't you? Don't think! Just run at me! I'll catch you! I promise! Ready? On three... One... two... Three!"

Cynthia

The blonde wrinkled her nose up, "I enjoy fun in my bedroom alone, and possibly with a bottle of wine I got a senior boy to buy me." She muttered with a shrug, resting her elbow on the bar and watching the bartender make his drink.

Pearl

"Who brings up their dead hamster at a rave?" Pearl shot a glare at Bradley, eager to play down Rufus' evil demise. To her glee, Max's voice boomed over the guilt and she flung her arms around him, "I thought we'd never be reunited. Are you enjoying the socks?" She crocked her leg out at an angle to reveal the cheeky glint of the garden gnome which lay wrinkled at the nose. "He's my evil twin."

Conor

He turned to the girl, raising an eyebrow "I may look albino, but I'm not, really" He still had his arm around Pearl and when the new guy started talking, Conor decided it was time to move his arm away "I thought you were the evil one, blondie."

Max

Max glanced down to the sock, smiling at the visual. "Incredible. They're definitely made for you," he said, already feeling his eyes start to dry out. He swore they were vibrating. "We're at a rave and not dancing or roasting, what the fuck?"

Bradley

Bradley tugged at the knot at the front of her neck, currently wearing a shirt she ripped off an innocent civilian as a jaunty, lopsided cape. Letting out a wild laugh at Conor's admission, Bradley brought her cup closer to bury her nose in. She wasn't really too sure how to act around Max. "Levi, you look swanky. New haircut?" Bradley asked, forcing out whatever came to mind first to start a quick conversation.

Levi W

Levi set his eyes on Bradley with a grin momentarily before chuckling. "I went to the salon today, actually." He finished his drink with a shrug, letting his attention move around the barn. "What have I missed?"

Killian

"I'm sure you do," he teases with a smirk, glancing back towards the bartender. "This is college, don't be a drag," he laughs, taking the drink handed to him and offering it to Cynthia. "Make one of those morally questionable choices you say I always inspire you to make."

Bradley

"Not much. Pearl was just about to go and find Finn because of the big, fat crush she has on him," Bradley informed, sipping innocently from her drink after.

Levi W

"Oh, really?" he smirked over to the other girl before adding, "perhaps I could put in a good word for her, that could be a interesting development."

Juliet and Spencer

No way in hell was Juliet going to walk into this rave alone, luckily she convinced Spencer to come with her, which didn't take much convincing since he was already drunk off his ass. She walks in, "I've got Molly if any of you bitches want some." Spencer grins as he walks over to the bar, already high as kite, "Let me buy you a drink." He says to the closest person near him.

Max

"Finn reminds me of Caillou," Max said into his glass, which turned out to merely be a cupped hand.

Pearl

Pearl's cheeks violently flushed. She snapped her head sideways to glare off into the crowd as if she hadn't bothered to hear a word of it. "Jesus, is that Juliet?"

Bradley

Noticing Juliet appear, Bradley made an ungodly scoffing noise into her cup. "Who fed the gremlin after midnight? You had one job."

Juliet

Like someone summoning bloody mary, Juliet grins, "Wrong, I'm not Jesus but you got it right the second time. Juliet."

Cynthia

Cindy rolled her eyes at Killian's statement, "You're a pervert." She laughed taking the drink he handed to her and sighing some, head shaking before she tipped her head back to gulp down the drink, her throat burning as she did and coughing a little when she set the now half empty cup on the bar, her hand still holding it as she laughed some, "You better take good care of me tonight Killian, if I end up waking up in the backseat of some frat boy's car i'm going to be pissed."

Max

"So, I see everybody knows each other," he said, talking with a clam hand.

Pearl

"It becomes a gremlin, Bradley, it starts off as a Mogw-- Juliet!" Pearl's reaction time was severely off.

Conor

"FYI, I do not know half of you. I go as far as Pearl and Levi, man." He smiled at Levi, before turning to the new face. Really, he needed to go out more often and meet new people.

Bradley

"Albino, I'm hurt. I thought we had a connection," Bradley sighed, blinking to keep her eyes from lapsing one colour into the next.

Imogen

"Maybe it's because you're actually having fun." She was practically ready to twirl, until he decided to stop any movement and pull away. Her eyes widened slightly as she could already assume what he had in mind. A roll of her eyes and a sigh from her lips left her glancing around, contemplating on backing away from the actual idea of this. Not because she didn't actually want to try it out, but because she was slightly afraid of trusting him and the embarrassment of having to do the dance in front of everyone. Still, the fact Finn seemed to be having blast and her wanting to be loose, she decided to go with it. "I can't believe I'm about to do this," she grumbled to herself. "Yeah, I trust you!" she shouted back. "At least I think I do!" Without hesitating, she made her way toward across the place before jumping onto him.

Juliet

The girl turns to face Conor, raising a brow, "You look like Lady Brienne from Game Of Thrones...except smaller and skinnier."

Max

"Draco Malfoy! In the flesh!" Max said excitedly, his attention suddenly shifting to Conor. "What's Bradley on?" Max whispered to Levi, as if he'd know. "I think she's trying to contact us with her eye lids. Morse code." Max snorted at Juliet's comment, nodding his head. "And more fem."

Pearl

"Yeah?" Pearl felt oddly protective over her treasured albino, "well you look like a fucking Lego who never changes it's hairstyle so simmer down, perhaps."

Max

"Ladies!" Max said, intending to stop any future arguments, but his mind got stuck. "Ladies."

Levi W

Levi laughed before turning to face Max, leaning in with a shrug. “Acid, maybe. I’m not hundred percent sure,” he replied quietly, waiting a moment before turning back to the group and watching the words get thrown at each other.

Bradley

Skimming the crowd for a blank space to root her reality in, Bradley caught a glimpse of Elias dancing solo. "Fucking hell, Elias is throwing himself around like a one man mosh pit. Somebody call an ambulance."

Conor

"Not albino. And we did, I just don't know your name" He said with an amused smile, wrapping his arm around her shoulder to squeeze her against his side, aiming to annoy her. Then he turned to Juliet, he had never met her but he heard the storied from the bonfire "Oh, god, you are a fan of that terrible show. Why must I suffer?" Dramatically rolling his eyes, he sighed. Was it so hard to learn his name? "Thanks, Pearl... Actually, being called Draco is the least awful thing I've been called in a while."

Finn

By some miracle of fate, Finn caught her. In an instant she was flying up above his head like a bird, like an eagle, his arms locked above him to hold her in place, the image of Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, if they happened to be drunk and in a bar instead of in Dirty Dancing. A sudden laugh burst from his mouth as he looked upwards, exhaling a grin, "I lied! I had no idea I could do that!" He shouted over the music, before a startled "Oh, shit!" escaped him, his foot slipping in alcohol, knocking both him and Imogen to the floor. Between fits of laughter, he struggled to his feet, backhanding the terrified onlookers with a "She's fine, she's fine. She'll walk it off," and pulling Imogen to her own feet with a beam. "Well, fuck me, that was good!"

Bradley

Bradley wriggled like a child captured for being naughty when he pulled her closer, a grimace well in tact. "Jesus, I'm not a stuffed animal."

Max

"Acid... I should have wore my horse mask," he frowned, genuinely disappointed. "Draco Malfoy is a compliment, frankly," Max said, tilting his head back to stare at the roof. "I wish I had handcuffs so I could cuff myself to the ceiling fan right now."

Killian

Killian waved off her threat. "I will, I will. Just try not to take any colorful pills from strangers and we should be good."

Levi W

"She might still see you in one, there's hope," he laughed, his eyes finding Elias on the dance floor and grinning. "He normally sticks to alcohol," Levi replied to Bradley before adding. "I'd fuck Draco."

Bradley

"I'd fuck Voldemort," Bradley threw out, another sip from her drink making her wince.

Max

"I'd fuck Daniel Radcliffe," he shrugged, silently wishing he had bought a drink before making his way over here.

Pearl

"Still better than fucking Elias," Pearl scoffed loudly and returned to people watching.

Bradley

Making an odd choking noise on her drink, she patted her own chest before trying to appear engrossed in the surrounding crowd.

Conor

"Are you sure? You remind me of one" He kept hugging her, laughing without a care in the world. The girl looked like she could kill a man but she was still shorter than him. Almost everyone was. "Tom Felton had his golden times but meh, not that attractive, Levs"

Elias

Everything was a blur. It was hard for Elias to figure out just what was what, but he couldn't care less. There was a sense of freedom that Elias had, something he craved and search for every day. The rave, the music, the drugs... it was perfect. Elias was bright eyed in the throng of people, dancing with anyone and everyone who came close to him.

Cynthia

"No colorful from strangers," She nods, checking off an imaginary bullet in her hand, "I'll be sure to not do that just for you." She laughed before someone bumped into her, making her stumble into Killian more and groan, sending a dirty look at the drunk klutz, "I am going to get trampled very soon."

Pearl

"Conor, release Bradley before I freak out." Pearl reached for his arm and violently pinched it to get his attention.

Bradley

Attempting to hide a grimace, the close proximity was fast encroaching on her realms of discomfort. "Yeah, let's not." Pushing his arm off her, she let out a sigh. "Freedom. I feel like Nelson Mandela."

Levi W

Levi's eyes glared to Pearl briefly, but dropped it - quickly distracted by the flashing lights around him. "I'd still do him."

Conor

"Ow, ow. Bitch!" He laughed again, releasing the girl and glaring halfheartedly at Pearl "Uncalled for. Also, who's Elias?"

Max

"It's a television show that went off the air in the early 2000s," Max mumbled, in a trance.

Pearl

"The one throwing his limbs out like he's having an epileptic fit, also Bradley's fucking him occasionally."

Bradley

"Let's not," Bradley laughed awkwardly, eyeing Conor after with regards to Levi's comment. "Maybe. His eyes are kind of big, though. It'd be like riding a porcelain doll."

Max

Max cringed, the craving for nicotine growing stronger with every word that came from the others. "I'm getting a drink. Anyone want anything? I'll try not to get lost."

Sam

"Congrats to Bradley, the only thing I've been fucking is my life up." Sam murmured, seeming to appear from nowhere with a sprite in his hands.

Conor

"Not that bad. He looks like a child but, he's doable, if you are kinda drunk." He turned to Levi "Whatcha think, Levs? Yes or nah?"

Pearl

"An old fashioned," Pearl cooed in what she imagined would be a James Bond accent, even though his drink of choice was a dirty martini. She'd barely heard Sam before she latched on to him, "shit, it's baby Blackwell."

Levi W

"You make a valid point," he laughed, glancing down to his empty cup and lifting towards Max with a smile, "Elias is my best friend, Con'."

Bradley

"What the fuck? I'm a great influence. That's just rude," Bradley criticised, a hand stretching out to muss Sam's hair up as if she were petting a dog.

Pearl

"You guys all have terrible taste," Pearl took another swig from her flask before offering it to Sam like it wasn't wildly inappropriate.

Conor

"Bring me a beer, tall dark and mysterious?" He asked Max, because honestly, everyone had skipped the part of introducing themselves and Conor was not about to remember the guy’s name.

Imogen

Even when he did catch her and didn't immediately dropped her, Imogen was freaking out on the inside to the point where she was going to beg to be put down. Especially when he admitted not knowing how to do this move. The only reason she chose not to was because she didn't actually want to seem like a wimp. To keep herself from doing so, she closed her eyes while attempting to stay as still as possible. However, it didn't last long because the moment he slipped was the moment she ended up letting out a scream before reaching the ground with a groan. She laid on her side, but made sure nothing was actually injured. Her side was slightly sore and most likely had a few marks on her arm that she had a feeling they'd eventually into bruises. Still, she kept that thought to herself before standing back up. As much as she hated it, her hands were shaking, but to cover it up, she roughly slapped Finn's shoulder and stated, "We are never doing that again."

Bradley

"Coming from someone who fucked Reid Blackwell," Bradley scoffed, eyes widening a little when she realised the offence it carried. "Anyway."

Sam

"Okay, cool or whatever," Sam ducked when Bradley tried to mess his hair up, waving Pearl's drink away. "Wait. Who fucked my brother?"

Max

Max slipped through the crowd, making his way to the bar. He fetched Levi another drink, the beer Conor asked for and ordered a whiskey and coke for himself. He returned within minutes, not bothering to play catch-up. "Yeah Pearl... Scraping the bottom of the barrel there," he mumbled, gesturing to Sam. "No offence. You're cool."

Conor

"So? You must still have an opinion on how doable he is, Levs"

Sam

"Fuck yeah, I'm cool! Thanks man."

Bradley

"Yeah, 'Levs'," she imitated Conor, resisting a laugh.

Killian

Killian laughed some when Cynthia stumbled into him due to the drink kid now making his way to his friends, yelling incoherently. "You won't get trampled, just try not to fall," he tries with a shrug, motioning for the bartender to get him another drink. Across the bar, he spotted a few familiar faces. "Wanna go over there?" he asks, motioning towards them for Cynthia to turn and look. "Or do you wanna take your chances of getting trampled and dance?"

Max

Max handed over the drinks, before downing some of his own, feeling instant relief.

Levi W

Levi tried to hold in a laugh as he drank his drink. "He's hot, of course he is."

Cynthia

Cindy smiled up at Killian when he gave her two options, humming some and shrugging, "We can go over there, I'd rather not be killed tonight."

Conor

"Good enough for me" Lifting his beer as if he was making a toast, Conor looked around the circle of people he was in before taking a swig. He still knew two names, apparently "You mocking me, teddy bear?"

Pearl

Covering her mouth with her new drink, Pearl shrugged it off like it were nothing but it wasn't nothing and she was wildly irritated at Bradley.

Finn

"Sorry about the whole dropping you thing..." Finn attempted, though his drunken attempts at apologies were hardly the most sincere. Accepting the slap with a small wince -- he deserved it -- he pulled the girl into a hug (a rarity, but expected in his intoxicated state), dropping his chin against her head. "I'm so tired I could collapse," Finn admitted, a yawn escaping him as he released Imogen from his embrace, his eyes searching the bar for Harleen or Levi, or any of the people he had come with. "Want me to walk you back? Where do you live, I don't mind walking you. Unless you're staying, because in which case, man overboard, I can't hack another half hour of this."

Max

Max sensed tension, wetting his lips. "So how about we play a game? Those always go swimmingly."

Bradley

"Why are we debating Elias, again?" Bradley inquired, inspecting the contents of her cup curiously. "Yeah, a game. Sounds wild."

Sam

"Pearl, that's gross." It doesn't stop Sam from brushing up closer to her though, just to avoid Bradley touching his hair again.

Levi W

"I don't know, we know you'll probably be in bed with him tonight," he shrugged before smirking, "I do love games."

Pearl

Pearl's arm was rigid against Sam, it felt peculiar to be in this close contact with the younger Blackwell. "We need a wider circle if we're playing a game."

Bradley

She found herself suddenly wishing on a pit to open up and swallow her whole. The way the acid was playing out, she wouldn't be surprised if in a minute she thought it did. "Doubt it, he looks like he needs a medic."

Conor

"You can play nurse with him"

Elias

The sinking feeling started in his stomach, Elias shaking his head and away the dizziness. He finally wormed his way out from the crowd, remembering only after that his shirt was being occupied not by him. He headed for the bar, tapping impatiently on the counter and asked for a water rather than more alcohol.

Bradley

Choosing to ignore the constant comments, Bradley chimed up again. "Anyway, this game then."

Max

"Truth or dare?" he shrugged. "Always leads to an interesting night."

Pearl

"Yeah, defib' him to death," Pearl snorted and cooed as soon as Max brought up truth or dare, "this game always has awful consequences, I love it."

Levi W

Levi noticed his friend leave to the bar, but stayed put. "Sounds perfect," he smirked in agreement with Max but over towards Bradley.

Killian

Killian wrapped his arm around his small blonde friend, walking them over to the group, avoiding the drunken people as much as he could. Ending up next to Max, he nudged him lightly. "What's goin' on?"

Conor

"What are we, twelve?" Conor snorted, shaking his head "Next thing we know, we will be playing 7 minutes in heaven"

Sam

"Yeah, right?!" Sam agreed, secretly already dreading going out.

Bradley

"Can always change it to seven minutes in hell especially for you," Bradley replied, imitating a slash at her throat for the second time that night. She really needed to calm down.

Max

"Shut up, Draco. Suck it up. Be a man," Max said simply. "We're playing Truth or Dare."

Levi W

"Who cares? It's fun, I'll go first..." he paused, scanning the group. "Pearl!" Levi smiled, "Truth or Dare?"

Cynthia

Cindy hums some, "Truth or dare at a rave, sounds smart."

Pearl

"Dare, obviously," she spoke with an eye roll.

Conor

He opened his arms, smiling at Bradley "What more hugs, teddy bear?"

sam

Sam immediately straightened up, away from Pearl in case of danger.

Imogen

Imogen ended up rolling her eyes at a response at first, but was caught off guard once she felt his arms around her. Her hands were still shaking and there was a second where she thought about pushing him away, but didn't as she found it rather calming. Hugging him back, she nuzzled into his shoulder and mumbled, "Hope you know that's the last time I'm letting you carry me." After from such a situation, the brunette was finally feeling okay than not. "Think you can still walk me back? Although, I think I'm too tired to walk as well, so whichever place is closer, I'm down for it." Keeping her hands by her side, she was thankful she wasn't as shaky as earlier.

Max

"I've been here twenty minutes and I already want to deck this kid," Max grumbled into his cup.

Bradley

Bradley made a face like she'd just witnessed a murder. "I'll pass, Salazar Slytherin."

Levi W

"I don't know why I ask," he grinned, his eyes moving around the barn quickly before finding his target, "Ah, perfect, I dare you to go and make out with Finn.”

Conor

"Oh, now that is a nickname I don't have any complaint about" He pointed at Bradley, laughing again before turning to Max "Are we talking about me, sourwolf?"

Bradley

"Her wet dream come to life," she cooed, a laugh escaping at Max's new nickname. "Yeah, sourwolf. Are we?"

Levi W

Levi let out a quiet howl of laughter, trying to drown it out by taking a large swig of his drink. "I like that, sourwolf."

Max

"Yes," Max replied, but he couldn't help but chuckle. "Are you even allowed to be out this late on a Thursday?"

Bradley

"Sourwolf -- didn't Tyler Hoechlin play him in Teen Wolf?" Bradley asked curiously.

Sam

"Don't worry Pearl... all the people here are attractive, it's fine." Sam joked.

Conor

"As long as there are no cops, I'm allowed to do anything" He shrugged, winking at Max before turning to Bradley "Yes, basically. God bless his abs."

Max

"Why the fuck do you even know what that guys name is?" he asked, bursting into laughter. "Make out with Nemo, already. Let's get the game moving.

Levi W

"Max has the better ass though, he does squats everyday." Levi grinned.

Bradley

"Yes, God bless those abs," Bradley repeated solemnly, having way too much fun mocking the light haired boy. "I happen to be a connoisseur on lots of trivia."

Max

"Squats every day, over Juliet's face," he said, no emotion in his tone as he drank down more of his glass. "This is flatter than Julia Roberts, I'm upset."

Conor

Conor moved around, checking out Max and doing a 'not bad' face before going to stand next to Levi "Could be better, to be honest"

Killian

Killian half paid attention to the game, leaning against the bar and tugging Cynthia in closer to him, hand resting on her waist as he downed his drink.

Bradley

Watching Conor as he moved around, Bradley knit her eyebrows together. "Do you have a wedgie you're trying to walk off? Gross."

Max

"Are you really surveying my ass right now?"

Pearl

"Kiss Finn?" Pearl tapped her cupid's bow with the silver edge of her flask, her eyebrows raised with contemplation, her gaze drifting to Killian and Cynthia which seemed to all the more fuel her decision. "Have fun without me losers," she pushed sideways and ducked into the surging crowd.

Conor

"Aw, with every passing second, you remind me more of Lotso, baby" He rolled his eyes, smiling at Max "Not at all. I mean, not just your ass"

Cynthia

Cindy wasn't really sure what was going on, truth or dare she thought, but that soon seemed to end and now the older students were talking amongst themselves. This is what happens when you're a lone freshman surrounded by strangers she thought, before being distracted by Killian's hand on her waist, making her smile and sip her drink as she leans closer.

Bradley

Bradley made an obnoxious gagging noise into her cup.

Levi W

"I know, it had to be an easy one, got to start off small." Levi chuckled, watching her fade away.

Finn

"Oh, I'm up to the task, alright!" Finn began, a smirk on his features as he capped another yawn from his lips. "I just need to text Levi to let him know I'm leaving..." Pulling his phone from his pocket, Finn began tapping a message, his grammar largely incomprehensible as he tried to articulate himself. "Sorted," he declared, tucking his phone back into the pocket of his jeans as he looped his arm through Imogen's. "Probably mine. Think you can handle two blocks, or will you pass out if I don't call an Uber?"

Max

"Somebody go next before I go Homer on Bart Simpson over here," he said, gesturing to Conor.

Sam

"...Bradley can I sit next to you?" Sam murmured all in one breath.

Killian

As Cynthia leaned into him, Killian caught sight of Pearl just before she disappeared into the crowd, his brows furrowing before he looked to Max in confusion at his words. "Who's Bart?"

Levi W

Levi glanced to his phone and sighed, hopefully Pearl would get to him quick enough - at least she'd join the game straight after. "Bradley's always up for a dare," he directed to Max, "am I thinking of all of them tonight?"

Bradley

Startling at his voice so close, Bradley surveyed the younger Blackwell boy. "On the floor...?"

Cynthia

Cindy, who's been paying rather close attention perks up, "That one is Bart," She said, gesturing towards Conor and feeling proud of herself for knowing.

Elias

With water in his system, Elias wasn't dizzy anymore. He took another glass and took a few sips before he wandered through the crowd of people and over to the familiar faces, passing Pearl on the way. Elias looked at the little circle of people, shaking his head. "What are you guys doing? And can I have my shirt back, Levi?"

Sam

"Hey I never supported this game, okay? I'm not gonna make dares." Sam defended himself, moving so he could sit on the floor closer to Bradley.

Levi W

Levi pulled it from his waist, handing it over. "Feeling the cold now?" he teased quietly, "Truth or Dare, perhaps you can go next instead?"

Bradley

"Yeah, Elias. Truth or dare?" Bradley inquired, eyes flitting to watch Max for a second before they returned to the new arrival.

Conor

"Sourwolf here cannot deal with me. It's like the third time he mentions physical assault" He informed Killian.

Imogen

"I'm shocked considering you seemed to be so imbalanced tonight," she replied jokingly, more or less leaning against him than keeping herself upward. She gave a nod and wrapped her arms around him, closing her eyes sooner than she imagined. Although, she got herself fixed up when he moved around and kept her arm around his. "Pass out," she replied right away. "Well..." She paused for a moment then continued, "More like lazy, but y'know." Imogen shrugged and began to lead him through the nearest exit door

Max

Max smiled sweetly at Conor, shaking his head. "I don't know what he's talking about."

Conor

Conor smiled back, just as sweet "Sure you don't."

Killian

"Max? Assault?" He asks, feigning shock before looking back to the bar and motioning for another drink. "I don't believe it," he says, absently rubbing Cindy's back before seemingly remembering that she likely had yet to be introduced. "Have you lot met Cindy? Shes a... what are you? Freshman right?"

Bradley

Tugging the t-shirt cape around her shoulders down, she frowned at it narrowly. "What the fuck? Where did I even get this from?" Flinging it into the air, she paid no mind to where it landed.

Elias

Elias took his shirt, tossing it over his head and back on. "Unfortunately, yes." For some reason, it didn't surprise Elias that they were all playing a game of truth or dare. His eyes flickered to Bradley, hesitating for a moment. "Always pick dare, isn't that the rule to truth or dare?"

Cynthia

Cynthia glanced up at Killian before shrugging some looking around at everyone else as she nods, "Mhm yeah, it's my first year, I got to have a year off."

Pearl

Finding anybody in this cramped chaos was a difficult task in itself but the luck of the single garden gnome sock was on Pearl's side, or so she drunkenly thought. It wasn't before long that the sea of surging bodies began to thin out and she bumped into Finn and Imogen just as they were about to head through the door. It was either brilliant timing or awful luck considering she was about to become the cockblock of the century. "Finn! Imogen! Hi!" It was unclear why she even bothered because before the conversation could continue, for she rushed forward and pressed her lips to Finn's as soon as the words left her mouth, the nervous impact of the pounce enough to press her body into the full weight of the kiss. Without waiting to see how he'd react, she pulled away with her heart in her airways. "Sorry, I just-- duty calls!" It was the only thing Pearl could thing to say and as soon as she said it, she felt livid with embarrassment. Who the fuck kisses someone and says "duty calls"?

Max

"Are you taking advantage of the freshman again?" Max asked Killian, eyes falling to Cindy. "Nice to meet you. I'm Maximum," he said. "Please Bradley, dare him to go home," he said, Max's sudden bitterness catching even him off guard.

Bradley

Forcing out a quiet, awkward laugh, Bradley propped her cup against her chest. "Elias, I dare you to give Sam a lap dance. He needs to lighten up."

Conor

"I'm Conor, but no one ever calls me that, apparently. So just go with the flow" He offered his hand, smiling at Cynthia

Cynthia

Cindy blushed some and laughed at what Max said about Killian her head shaking as she downed the rest of her drink.

Levi W

"Max, play nice," he muttered over to him. "I'm Levi." Levi laughed quietly, taking a large swig of his drink as he got ready to watch the show. "This should be fun."

Cynthia

Cindy reached out to shake Conor's hand, smiling sweetly at him, "Nice to meet you," She laughed before looking at Levi, "And you too!"

Sam

"Wait, what the fuck, who's Elias?" Sam scowled at Bradley.

Max

Max glanced down to Sam, frowning. "Heel, boy."

Bradley

"Sounds like a gemstone you find washed up on a beach somewhere," Bradley mumbled as an attempt to diffuse the tension, sipping graciously from her cup.

Killian

Killian rolls his eyes. "I don't take advantage of freshman. Stop filling her head with lies," he says, glancing towards the boys. He nodded once to Conor, glancing towards Levi. "You watch for that one, not me," he playfully warns Cindy.

Elias

Elias rolled his eyes at Bradley, setting his drink down. The exclaim from Sam made Elias laugh, raising his hand in the air. "That would be me. No worries though, if you don't want the lap dance, I won't do it. Bradley can deal with it."

Cynthia

Cynthia laughed, "Yeah? Sure, I think I'll watch out for both of you then."

Levi W

"He's sat down all ready for it," he laughed, "why else would he choose the floor?"

Max

"I should have suggested Russian Roulette."

Sam

"The thing is BEING on the floor would make it awkward." Sam reasoned, smiling briefly at Elias before shooting a much more pointed look at Max.

Bradley

Staring down at Sam as he hunched on the floor, Bradley sighed. "Is this actually happening? Why is Sam on the grimy floor? I can't cope."

Finn

Finn was almost through the exit when he heard a shriek of his name following him, brows puckering in confusion. Turning to spot Pearl running through the crowd towards him, he opened his mouth to ask her hurry, when without warning he felt the press of his lips against his own, her form crashing against his body. Before Finn had a chance to process what was going on, his lips responding briefly to her own, the toxic taste of her breath was gone, the statement 'duty calls' fluttering from between her lips, their gloss lingering on his own. "Wha-- Pearl, what the fuck?" Finn suddenly remarked with incredulity, his breath catching in his throat as he looked awkwardly between the blonde and Imogen, utterly gobsmacked. "Are you on drugs? Wait, doesn't matter, I-- Imogen, let's go." With one last look of unfathomable stupefaction thrown in Pearl's direction, Finn turned towards the exit, tugging Imogen along with him. "Crazy bitch," he uttered in disbelief as he pulled open the door of a taxi. "After you,"

Elias

"Hey gramps, you might wanna take it down a notch. No one wants to play that." Elias mumbled toward Max, worry flashing over his features for a second before he heard Sam speak up again. Elias rolled his eyes before he moved over to Bradley, ignoring the others. "Let's leave the poor boy alone, he looks like he might have an accident. Wipe the slate clean and let me pick truth. That way Sam can live another day."

Max

Max sighed in false disappointment. "Alright, someone think of a truth for Elias. Get deep down and dirty."

Bradley

"I think I just saw a pigeon, I'm not in a fit state to think," she sighed dramatically.

Sam

"Hey, I'm no freshman, alright?" Sam crossed his arms, as if to square up anyone who were to call him a boy or a baby again.

Conor

"Well, things are gettng boring. Anyone has any brilliant truth?"

Pearl

Pearl returned to the group as a shell of her former self, deep in thought and utterly mortified. She'd pinched Max's sleeve to draw him closer to her just so she could wet her lips and slowly relearn the art of speech and yet the only words that she managed to say, in both a shock and deep, embarrassing disbelief, "duty calls."

Cynthia

Cindy looked at Pearl curiously, confused to why she would say that, before leaning into killian to whisper, "is she okay?"

Max

Max glanced around at Pearl, eyebrows raising. "Did you do it? I don't think anyone was even watching, we fucking suck at this game," he said. "Elias... A truth. Okay. How severely does your premature ejaculation affect your sex life?"

Elias

Shock took over Elias before his eyes narrowed in a glare at Max. "It doesn't because I don't, asshole."

Bradley

Shifting awkwardly, Bradley glanced around the circle to locate Conor. "Where's the Milky Bar kid gone? Let's make him do a dance to restore the peace."

Killian

Killian looked down at Cindy when she motions towards Pearl, tilting his head curiously at the shaken blonde before them. "I don't know... Pearl?" He asks, standing straighter from his position against the bar.

Sam

Sam had to stop himself from giggling by turning his head and smushing his face against Bradley's leg.

Cynthia

"Milky bar kid?" Cindy muttered, still thoroughly confused.

Pearl

"Just regular, crazy bitch Pearl. Kissing the kiss of death." She stared at Max with the intensity she thought it might take for him to read her thoughts, but alas the game was continuing and so she tried to immerse herself back into it and forget about what just happened.

Bradley

Bradley stared down at Sam for a long moment before she said anything. "Sam, I mean this kindly -- what the fuck? Are you nibbling my leg?"

Conor

"The nicknames just keep getting worse. You were doing so good, teddy bear!" Conor moved from behind Levi, where he had gone to, well, hide, after seeing someone at the party he did not want to talk to.

Max

Max glanced to Pearl again, a frown on his face at the expression she wore. "Are you okay?" he mouthed. "Who's next?"

Levi W

Levi shrugged, glancing around - having zoned out for the bast few minutes.

Sam

"N-No," Sam giggled, moving away from Bradley's leg and covering his mouth instead.

Elias

Elias elbowed Levi lightly, waving a hand in front of the other's face to get his attention. "Earth to Levi, you in there?"

Pearl

"Sam, no offense or anything but you're being a fucking freak."

Cynthia

Cindy had discarded her empty cup to the bar as the upper classmen continued to play their game poorly, glancing up at Killian and tugging at his shirt so he'd pay attention to her, "Get me another drink."

Max

"He's a Blackwell, he can't help it," Max said.

Sam

"Wait, when am I not Pearl? ...When am I not?"

Pearl

"I don't know, what Max said. It's not your fault, it's just the gene pool."

Levi W

He nodded, smiling. "Yeah, whose turn is it?"

Killian

Killian was momentarily distracted from his attempt to get Pearl's attention, hearing Cynthia's request and nodding some. He turned back to the bar, trying to catch the bartender's attention again and motioning for another drink, unable to help his small glances towards Pearl every now and again.

Elias

"Max's turn. He gets to pick truth or dare," Elias announced.

Max

Max rolled his eyes, speaking into his cup. "Dare."

Conor

"Yo, Levs, what the fuck are they talking about?" Conor whispered in his ear, totally confused about the Blackwell comments.

Bradley

Planting a hand onto Sam's head, she used him as a makeshift cane to stay standing.

Sam

"Yeah, I'm gonna blame Reid for that one." Sam grinned, daydreaming about his stupid brother, quickly broken out of it by Bradley. "Ow, hey!"

Elias

Elias pointed in the direction of the bar. "You need to be a little more fun, not all dark and gloomy. Why not go strip on the bar? At least that way everyone can have fun watching you, Max."

Teo

Teo took a look around the room and walked outside, he hated admitting it but after a while, socialising became tiresome for him, frankly the boy needed a few minutes to breathe. He stood outside for a minute, checking his phone, making it look like he had /something/ to do, and just enjoyed the silence, Teo was considering going home, he put his phone into his pocket and looked towards the entrance but instead of leaving, he kept a watch on Layla who had just exited building.

Max

Max shook his head, downing the rest of his drink. "Fine," he said. Max made his way toward the bar, which had been pretty much abandoned by the student-run bartenders. He climbed up onto the bar as quietly as he could, reaching over for the bottle of Watermelon Smirnoff that was closest to him. He finished off what was left of the bottle, which wasn't much of a task, before whipping it across the room as far as he could. "Fore!"

Layla

Taking a bottle of vodka with her, she glanced around for a familiar face. The only problem was, she felt a bit like an outsider. Possibly because she felt like she was still brand new and didn't quite feel at home yet. Either that or she just didn't find people whom she felt the most comfortable around. Plus, there was also the fact everybody else seemed to have their own conversation going on and she didn't get what was the topic of it all yet. However, she soon noticed a particular someone and smiled at that before making her way outside the place to go over to Teo. "You look extremely lonely," she teased, walking over to his side.

Levi W

"I haven't even been listening," he responded to Conor, "probably something funny though." Levi watched as Max made his way back to the bar, "I'm sure this will be good."

Sam

"...So does this happen like every week or...?" Sam asked in utter shock.

Elias

Elias watched Max with amusement, although the throwing of the bottle was not something he'd expected. "Someone's gonna end up dying...," he mumbled, shaking his head. Elias glanced around their little group before his attention focused on Bradley. "You mad at me?" He asked quietly.

Teo

"Being alone isn't being lonely." he said matter-of-factly, and after a moment of thought he added, "But I suppose I am a little lonely, you planning on joining me? I don't think you could drink that all by yourself, besides," Teo pulled a flask from his pocket and shook it, "I'm all out."

Max

Max quickly undid his jeans, kicking them off his feet and pulled off his shirt, tossing it across the room. All he said to do was strip. He jumped from the bar to the floor again, wincing at the sudden pain in his ankle, but beginning to walk it off. "Okay, Typo. Truth or dare?"

Bradley

"Something like that." Eyes flitting over to Max every so often, her first response was a mumbled "what?" before she focused properly on Elias. "Why would I... What?"

Sam

"Did you get any ones?" Sam asked, not sure if to look at Max with admiration or disgust.

Layla

"Says who?" she questioned while raising an eyebrow, but smiling in the end. "Depends. Is this going to be a conversation where we both end up being silent? ...Kidding." She shook her head and opened up the bottle before passing it to him. "How come you're not inside anyway? I hear they're playing truth or dare."

Levi W

Levi half expected Max to fall off the bar - the amount of drinks that had been spilled must have been endless. "Not as exciting as I thought," he directed to Max before his eyes found Conor, waiting for his response.

Conor

"Truth, Sourwolf" He was a joy kill, definetly.

Elias

Elias shrugged his shoulders. "Just checking. Call me paranoid. You seem out of it more than usual but I'm gonna guess that's the drugs or alcohol."

Max

"Truth..." he hummed in thought. "Who here do you want to fuck most?"

Bradley

Stitching her brow together, she nodded slowly. Her tone had significantly soured. "Yeah, classic me."

Teo

"Says... Someone smarter than me." He shrugged and took the bottle from the girl, "I was for a while, but I'd rather be out here, it's much cooler, 'sides I'm not a fan of truth or dare, it's pointless." After considering the bottle he took a drink from it and passed it back.

Bradley

"Shit, Draco's really giving this one some thought," Bradley laughed, sloshing the dwindling drink around in her cup.

Elias

Elias knocked his shoulder lightly against Bradley's. "Hey, I didn't mean it like that. I'm just worried about you. I've really only got you and Levi so I'm gonna always make sure you're okay."

Layla

She laughed quietly and nodded. "Touche." Watching his actions for a bit, Layla crossed her arms and took a look around while still giving him all her attention. "Eh, I wouldn't say it's pointless. Maybe because I'm a fan anything daring, but it can be fun when there's nothing else to do." Turning her head toward his way, she scrunched up her nose then shook her head. "Gross. I didn't want your saliva on it," she joked, taking the bottle back before getting a sip.

Conor

"Easy. Based solely on physical attraction, I would fuck..." He looked around, assessing the people in the room. If he said Levi, things would get awkward, most likely, Layla was definitely on the list but not enough to be #1, which left him with... "Him. The one with black hair, whatever his name is."

Bradley

"Yeah," she replied pointlessly, suddenly feeling a little claustrophobic with Elias by her side. "I'm getting a drink." With that said, she wove off toward the bar.

Max

Max chuckled, before noticing the interaction between Elias and Bradley. He made a wretching sound into his cup, the confined space making it echo. "Same," Max said, surveying the person Conor had pointed out.

Bradley

Returning with a newly full cup, Bradley found a place besides Levi, leaning on him subtly for balance. "Save me, Barry."

Elias

Elias let his gaze move up to the ceiling before he plopped down, absentmindedly picking at his shirt.

Bradley

"Who did Milky say he'd fuck? I missed it."

Max

"Blue eyes and dark hair. Over there," he said. "That rhymed."

Conor

"Him. Tall, dark and handsome." He pointed discretely again.

Sam

"Hey, what's my cool nickname?"

Teo

"Well I dunno, I just don't get the point, it's not entertaining if you're the one making an idiot of yourself." Teo scoffed and rolled his eyes about the comment about saliva, "I mean like... If I dared you to... I don't know, that's half the problem with the game... okay, do the macarena in the middle of the street, right now, would you do it?"

Bradley

Following the pointing, Bradley nearly choked on a mouthful of her drink. "Oh," she replied as if it hadn't happened, subtly averting her eyes elsewhere.

Conor

"Do you know him?" His interest was piqued.

Max

"Bradley knows everyone," he mumbled. "She's never met a dick she hasn't seen in the flesh."

Layla

"Hmm... Don't know about that. It depends if you can laugh at yourself for what you did, then it could be entertaining or it won't be." She took a few more sips of the drink, unable to suppress the smile on her face from his eye roll. "I see your point in the problem of it all. Sucks when you can't be creative and original about it, but... Yes, I would. It doesn't sound so bad anyway." She took in a pause while licking her lips before continuing on. "If I dared you to go pantless for a day, would you?"

Elias

Elias glanced at Sam, "I thought you were just 'kid'"

Bradley

Turning her attention over to Max, her expression fumbled to find it's footing between hurt and irritation. "Bit rich."

Conor

Conor snorted, trying to keep his laugh soft and failing miserably. "Well, not that I believe"

Max

"Sorry, it was meant to be a joke but I forgot to laugh," Max mumbled, shaking his head. "It's not true. Don't believe a word I say. It's slander, all slander."

Sam

"...I demand a rename."

Elias

"You have to do something worthy of a rename, kid. That's how people usually end up getting their nicknames."

Conor

"Or you can just bleach your hair. After that, the nicknames won't stop."

Bradley

Regardless, the comment left a sting that she couldn't wash down with a gulp from her cup. "I should go. Sam's nearly gone full hunchback, he probably needs to be taken home."

Sam

"Wait, what? I'm drinking sprite."

Max

"I'm sorry," Max said again. "You can sucker punch me if you want. I'll let you."

Bradley

"Right. I forgot." Letting out an exaggerated sigh, she forced on a thin lipped smile down at him as her excuse went out the window. "It's fine," she waved him off dismissively.

Teo

T"Well a few drinks in and I think I might get on board with it. The laughing at myself thing. Otherwise it's just embarrassing." he admitted, he matched Layla's own smile with one of his own, "I'd go pantless for the rest of my life if it was socially acceptable. I could get on board with the day without pants thing though, especially since you didn't say I can't just stay in my room all day."

Elias

Elias stared off, eyes going hazy for a moment before he recovered and stood up. "I'm gonna go steal a bottle of alcohol and ditch this place," he said. "Who knows, maybe I'll stay lost this time..." Elias mumbled to himself as he headed toward the bar in hopes there was a nice bottle of Vodka full that had his name on it that he could take with him.

Bradley

"Yeah, I'm going to go hallucinate a donkey and ride it home." Patting Sam's head slowly like a bongo, she plonked her drink down beside him. "Drink it in my memory." Twisting away from the dwindling group, she started heading towards the exit.

Layla

She bit her bottom lip before giving him a nod. "I'll remember that next time then. I'm sure things could get interesting with a few drinks here and there." As she noticed his expression though, her smile grew wider. "That's a nice look on your face," she said sincerely before laughing once more from his response to her idea of a dare. "I guess I'll just have to be specific in every dare I give."

Sam

"Um," Sam stared down at the drink, wincing before taking one sip and then leaving it on the ground, excusing himself as he followed Bradley. "Hey, wait up!"

Conor

"And I guess I will dissapear before sourwolf here actually tries to kill me" He pointed at Max, winking at Sam before moving towards the bar.

Elias

Elias found himself a bottle he wanted, climbing his way out from behind the far before he saw someone he recognized. Sorta. "Hey, you're the one everyone kept calling nicknames." Elias waved the bottle he had around, taking a swig from it.

Bradley

Bradley had been about to flag down the freshman from earlier when Sam called her, slowing a little so he could walk beside her as she exited the barn. "You're going to have to carry me, soon. I don't make the rules."

Teo

"And now you know my deepest darkest secret." He said before shrugging his jacket off and hanging onto it, "I loosen up when I have a drink." Teo looked at the ground in an attempt to hide from her for a moment so he could hide the smile on his face, "I guess you will."

Conor

Conor bowed his head "Yup. I blame the zine for it" He made grabby hand towards the bottle, sitting on the bar with a jump "Apparently, everyone thinks it's fun." It really didn't bother, not when every nickname was hilarious.

Sam

"Why do you want me to carry you?" Sam asked, still coughing from the strong liquor.

Elias

"I guess. At least it means you're memorable," Elias said as he handed the bottle over to Conor. "Hey, what sounds more fun... stealing a car or getting black-out drunk?"

Layla

Within moments, she sat on the ground and placed the bottle by her side, mainly tired of standing around. Sure, she was there for only a few minutes, but for some odd reason, it felt like hours all of a sudden. "Nice to know. Your secret's safe with me, in case you were wondering. Makes me wonder what other secrets you have, but I won't pry." She placed her hands behind her, leaning against her arms as her eyes focused on their surroundings once more. "So, Teo, is this your first rave or have you been to one before?"

Conor

"I guess but, no one really know who I am so... It kind of backfires" Taking a swig of the bottle, Conor closed his eyes and tried to ignore the burning of the alcohol "Getting black-out drunk. The hangover won't be fun but everything else will."

Elias

"You're right about that. What's your actual name then? I'll know who you are." Elias took what the other said into consideration, figuring he was right. It'd be interesting to see what would happen. "Well hand the bottle back, I've got a long way to go."

Conor

"Conor and thanks" He passed back the bottle, not before taking another swig. "I can help you with getting black-out drunk but sadly, I can't join you."

Elias

Elias raised an eyebrow before asking, "why not? What's the fun in doing it alone?"

Conor

"My roomate will kill me if I show up drunk again." Half the truth. He just didn't want to deal with a black-out hangover ever again. "I will drink with you, tho. Shots"

Teo

Teo looked between the girl on the ground and his surroundings, to hell with it, he thought, and sat next to her. "And who knows? Sometime you might get to hear them." Teo brought his hand up to his head and pressed on his forehead, zoning out for a minute perfectly content to be sitting in silence with her, he came back into reality when the girl spoke, he missed the start of her sentence but he caught onto what she was saying after a few moments, "I've been before, but you've gotta be in the mood for it you know." He said emphasising his words.

Elias

"I won't pressure you, but you can always come back to mine and Levi's. He won't mind, trust me." Elias moved closer to Conor, reaching around the bar for two glasses and filling them up.

Conor

"I will think about it. Drunk me usually makes different decisions than sober me” Grabbing the first glass, he downed at once “I hate shot but I also love shots, man”

Elias

Elias took up his own shot, downing it as quick as possible. "I prefer drunk me. I don't remember shit and sometimes it's better that way." Elias went right ahead in filling up another set of shots for the both of them. "Shots are the quickest way to get drunk, you gotta love 'em."

Conor

"I don't trust drunk me. He always makes questionable life choices" He waited for Elias to grab his shot this time, drinking along with him and shaking his head "And you gotta hate 'em because you never realize how drunk you are until it's too late"

Layla

She rose her eyebrows, slightly surprised he sat down with her, but didn't comment about it. "I'll be happy if you tell me them," she said rather quietly. "It just means you trust me and it's a nice feeling." She shrugged then took the bottle again, taking several gulps this time. Lightly, she tapped a foot onto the ground, unsure if she was saying things platonically or romantically. Whenever it came to Layla, she just tended to overthink things. A reason why she wanted to drink more alcohol to feel more loosened up. "Yeah... I thought I was going to be in the mood for it, but then coming here, I'm not. I mean, I wouldn't mind dancing, but..." Once again, she gave a shrug. "I don't know yet."

Elias

"Questionable life choices? What exactly does drunk you do?" Elias took the second shot like a pro, going through the motions of slamming the glass down. "God, you're right about that. It only takes that one extra shot and you're fucking gone."

Conor

"I once woke up with twenty different bruises on my body, not counting hickeys, and no idea how I got them after a drunken black-out" Conor laughed, slamming his own glass down "Woke up on a friend’s rooftop with a terrible hangover. Woke up in a girl's bed with the girl and her best friend... And her mother glaring at us from the door way" He bit his lip "I know right? And then you think 'I can have another one I'm not that bad' and that's the last think you remember"

Teo

The boy's eyebrows furrowed, "Not tonight." he said, not outlawing the possibility, but closing the topic off for tonight while he still had sound judgement. "Does that show you I trust you? For me to wait till I'm not hitting the bottle to tell you things that are important? I think it does. Cause I do. I do trust you I mean." He looked at the bottle in the girl's hands, "I'll do what you want to do. If you want to dance I guess I mean, you're the one my stupid dancing is going to hurt. Not that I'd hurt you thats not what I mean, but more that I'd you know, embarrass you. If you wanna stay here though, that's cool too."

Layla shook her head, but kept the smile on her face. "Whenever you're comfortable. Like I said, I won't pry. Or push." Looking back at him, she gave several nods before replying, "It does." Although, seconds later, she glanced down at the bottle and sighed. "Just so you know, I trust you too and I'm not drinking because I plan on saying anything important. I mean, something might come out, but..." The female pursed her lips and shook her head. "What I'm trying to say is, I tend to think a lot. At least, I did before coming to New York and I've ruined stuff before and I just don't want things to go bad again. I'm a mess sometimes is basically what I'm saying." Hearing his words, they practically meant so much to her. It wasn't often she was able to hear something like it. "I wouldn't mind dancing, but I probably won't be as good because I'm drinking." she explained, letting out a giggle.

Teo

"I know, but I think the problem isn't that I don't trust you, it's that I don't really trust myself." Teo listened to the girl, and started twisting his hands together, "Well we've all got things going on that get a little messy, but you don't need to stay in your head so much. I don't know what to say half the time, but I can listen." he said, Teo stood up and stepped back for a moment, the alcohol only just hitting him, he laughed, "Shit, that wasn't a good idea." After a moment though when he was confident he was standing still, he grabbed the girl's hand, "Lets go then."

Hmm… Well, I saw a pretty interesting poem on Twitter that covered things. Basically, Wyatt got hard inside Juliet’s cupped hand, Sawyer is a domestic abuser, Bradley and Juliet got in a show-down that ended in a cigarette burn to the neck, Tessa tried really hard to make Have You Ever happen in the midst of the drama, Elizabeth may just be a sociopath, Reese swooped in to save the day, Conor stirred the marriage pot, Pearl turned into Ashley Tisdale in Phineas & Ferb and screamed at Sawyer for being married, Max wins the award for most wasted, Alyssa, as always, had her shit together and Killian was making it rain… with pills. Did I miss anything? Let me know, Atticus.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth moved through the woods, trailing fingers along the bark. She approached the growing group of people, frowning at the crowd of strangers. She hated new faces, always so mysterious. She took a seat on the grass, all of the logs taken up by others, fiddling with a thread bracelet around her wrist. Sawyer 

Sawyer watched from the outskirts of the party. He enjoyed his perch on the edge of the treeline, where he could keep an eye on any drama that unfolded, or even find a new plaything. His joy was snatched away as a familiar face broke through the opposite side of the clearing -- his wife. It would be foolish to avoid her, he decided, making his way through the crowd to sneak up behind her. Wrapping an arm around Elizabeth's shoulders, he pressed his lips to her ear. "Boo." It was partially in the hopes of making her jump, but to also keep up appearances. That's what life was now -- playing house.

Ben

Ben was still fairly new to the States, about to reach his month mark since he moved to Ithaca from England. Though he still didn't know very many people, there was one thing he was good at doing and that was drinking and getting wasted. He was grateful for the keg, a red cup in hand as he turned to the person next to him, "Who's up for a drinking game?" Bradley 

Face home to a family of angry purple tenants, Bradley's dilated pupils stayed with the sway of the bonfire. With Pearl by her side, they looked like witches waiting for a willing sacrifice. "Why does fucking everyone look like Bruno Mars?" she grumbled, eyeing two short boys passing that shared no resemblance to the singer other than his height. Elizabeth 

Elizabeth jumped, but she was certain that the reaction wasn't as satisfying as he wanted it to be. "Boo," she said, her voice monotone in reply. She noticed the very English man propose a drinking game and without hesitation, nodded his head. "Yeah, I am. What kind of drinking game? Have you ever?" she asked, a smirk on her face as she tilted her head to look at Sawyer. Tessa 

After the horrific incident of her public slandering -- an event that Tessa daresay would take extensive meditation to fully recover from -- Tessa had been tempted not to appear at the bonfire at all. She had spent the majority of the afternoon crying her doe eyes out in the safety of her apartment with regular cups of chamomile tea to calm her inner turmoil. But to avoid the bonfire would be to admit defeat, and so Tessa -- armoured in a hooded parka -- had made her appearance at the bonfire with an artillery of smores, her head held high and her temper calm as the waning moon. Looking up to the figure next to her, she offered a timid "would you like a smore?" holding out the bag of marshmallows. Ben

He can't help but raise his brows excitedly toward Elizabeth, clapping his hands together glancing at Sawyer, "Excellent! Never Have I ever sounds spectacular. Why don't you start? Your suggestion." Charlie

To say that Charlie was awful in social situations would be a massive understatement. He was awkward, shy and always made a fool of himself. However he was set at ease when a beautiful girl offered a smore to him, something he was quite an expert in. A grin spreads upon his lips as he looks at Tessa, "I'd love one, thanks. I have to admit...I'm a sucker for smores." Max 

Max had decided to take a seat beside Tessa. He knew what it was like to be the face of public scrutiny and he assumed she'd want as much support as she can get. Pulled from his thoughts and an occasional glance to Bradley, he nodded his head at her question. "Yeah, actually. It's been a while since I've had a S'more." Sawyer

Sawyer laughed, taking a seat in the grass beside Elizabeth. "I have, but I didn't think they allowed that at Jesus College." He teased, pulling his arm from around her shoulder, he tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. He kept cool; it was hard to know when she had something up her sleeve. Elizabeth 

Elizabeth laughed as Ben started the game. "Never Have I Ever it is, I guess," she shrugged. "'Jesus College' isn't all bible readings and gospels," she said, rolling her eyes. Truthfully, she didn't even drink, but she had to get in line with her new environment. "Never have I ever... told a lie to someone at this fire." She, of course, didn't drink. Pearl 

Words seemed to disintegrate on the tip of her tongue before she had a chance to process them; it felt like she'd just been thrown off a motorway bridge but instead of a rib breaking impact, there was just silence, enough silence to slowly drown in. A few hours ago, she thought she'd seen a ghost. A ghost that had been haunting her nightmares when everybody else had seemed to go about their business forgetting about it, about the man they ran over while laughing and screaming. And yet there he was at the strip club, bright and toothless in some places, with a finely wound cast on his dollar wielding wrist. None of it made sense. Perhaps she'd been hallucinating. She hadn't been back to work in a while and the stress was getting to her. With little enthusiasm for her woody surroundings, Pearl cocked her head up at Bradley's laughter and tried to do as she was told to do, forget. "Yeah. We should narrow down our first sacrifices. Personally speaking, I think we should roast that whiny bitch Juliet." Tessa 

Tessa didn't recognise the lad who had answered her open question, but nonetheless offered a nod of her bright head, curls tumbling across her eyes as she passed two digestives and a marshmallow across the circle to him. "Sorry. Didn't catch your name?" She remarked with curiosity before turning her attention to Max. She removed another marshmallow from the bag, tossing it into her mouth before handing the bag to the lad beside her. "You've been quiet from the radar. What's been happening, De Cotes? It isn't usual that I don't hear your name plastered across the tabloids with some scandalous caption every other day, claiming you're this and that. But then again I suppose we all know it's completely artificial anyway." Juliet

Juliet was high off of her mind, having party favors stuffed in her bra for the few lucky people as she decides to sit by the British guy with the weird fucking haircut, joining in on the game. With a bottle of vodka in hand she lifts it up to her lips when Elizabeth mentions never lying to anyone at this bonfire, "That all ya got, Princess?" She says with a small smirk.

Reese 

With cheap beer in hand she takes a seat next to the new girl Elizabeth before snorting at her question, "You realize you're going to make EVERYONE drink with that question, right? Shit you ARE new." And with that she tilts her head back and takes a sip. Sawyer 

"Fuckin' hand me a drink, Ben." It was her way of calling him out -- that's how he felt, at least. Everyone knew, or everyone who mattered knew; Sawyer was known to be a liar before, but this was something new. Once a drink was finally in his hand, he took a sip. Leaning against his wife's shoulder, he shook his head. "That was fuckin' dirty, Liz." Max 

Max shrugged a shoulder, attentive to Charlie who also had been making conversation with Tessa. He was terrible around new people, but the alcohol helped. "I'm trying to keep myself under the radar," he said with a nod. "I don't know, they don't have a lot of material. I only just got released from hospital like two weeks ago, I've got to get my head back in the game." Ben 

With a tilt of his head he pours some of the beer into a party cup, handing it to Sawyer, "Cheers, Mate." Though he shakes his head, "Don't have to drink. Lucky me I suppose. Alright, I'll go next. Never have I ever, gotten a tattoo or piercing." Bradley

Bradley had been craning her neck for a second to scan the crowd before she was brought back to earth by Pearl's voice, hazy smile stitched in place with finely fraying thread. "Or Sawyer. I don't even think he'd burn, though, he'd just leak shit from his ears and go off like a firework." It took a mouthful of vodka to wash the name from her mouth. "I hope someone does something exciting soon like, I don't know, dying. Spice things up." Ariella 

Ariella moved over to the woody surroundings, grinning once she saw the rest of the group. Pulling her hair out of the bun she was currently wearing, she approached the circle. "Hey, you all. Bought donuts on my way here. Anyone wants one?" Pearl

"Ariella? I wouldn't mind a donut." Pearl waved the fiery red head over with a waft of her hand, even her limbs felt alien to her. "Hurry along, little dove," she spat those last two words out with a snarling grimace, but her eyes never left the crackling flames of the bonfire. Tessa

"Oh, like Zac Efron!" Tessa remarked, her lips tugging up into jovial beam. "Honestly, keeping under the radar is a better way to be. But why on earth were you in hospital!? Or is it a sensitive topic? That's fine, I won't pry." Tessa insisted ( though curiosity tugged at every limb ) tucking her hands into her lap and offering a smile back to Charlie, "good s'more? Oh! I'll have a doughnut!" She called eagerly, in response to the newcomer. Ben

His grin widens at the sight of the familiar red head, "Now the party has begun." Ben announces, clapping his hands together as he wraps an arm around Ariella, kissing her upon the temple, "We're playing Never Have I ever." Charlie 

Charlie's mouth is practically watering as he eats the smore, nodding his head at Max and Tessa, "Sorry, I'm Charlie. I'm erm...not used to going to parties." He admits with a sheepish blush, eyes locking with Ariella's for a moment as he gives a nervous wave to her, glad to see a familiar face. Tessa 

"That's alright, Charlie. I'm not much of a partier myself. In fact, in my opinion - the best kind of party is a slumber party!" Tessa responded, sliding a marshmallow onto her stick to roast over the fire. Ariella 

Ariella chuckled at the raising voices and arms of those who asked for a donut, humming and wrapping a napkin around each of the desserts she gave off. "There you go." She grinned at Pearl, and then Tessa, waving back in Charlie's direction at last. Taking a seat by Ben's side, she laughed at the fondness, pressing a kiss to his cheek. "Good to see you, too - blondie." She moved so she could rest her legs over his lap. "Brits unite. Oh, now that sounds fun. Anyone already went off to the woods to cry?" She asked playfully. Max 

"Went on a bit of a bender," he said, laughing softly. Though, he knew there was far more to the story than that, that likely wasn't a conversation for tonight. A party. "It's okay Charlie, I'm Max. I'm also bad at parties," he snorted. Elizabeth 

"Never got a piercing or a tattoo, unfortunately," Elizabeth shrugged, wondering if she'd ever be required to drink. Pearl 

The donut was dripping in glaze by the time it wound up in Pearl's feeble hands. She barely even looked at the thing before she grimaced and flung it onto the bonfire. Bradley 

Eyes glittering with dark intentions, she tipped back another fair portion of her cup and resisted a grimace at the contents. "Come on, Pearl, let's go play with the kiddies," Bradley drawled, wandering over to land herself by Ariella's side in the heart of the gathering group. "Should I start this whole Never Have I ever thing?" Blinking in fake thought, Bradley smiled Ariella's way. "Never have I ever kissed Jackson." Pausing, she furrowed her brow. "Shit, nevermind. I did do that." Juliet 

"Fucking pussies. How have you guys never gotten a tattoo or piercing? Not even your ears?" Juliet questions to Elizabeth before taking a hearty drink. She narrowed her gaze at Bradley, tightening her fist around her cup. Ben 

Ben drums his fingers upon Ariella's legs before Bradley brings up the never have I ever, freezing before he licks his lips. He had more than kissed Jackson. His cheeks turning red he takes a sip and doesn't say anything. Pearl 

A wild, wolf like cackle emerged from Pearl's lips until the thought slowly dawned on her that she'd kissed Jackson, so she'd have to drink too. She stared at the pooling contents of her punch cup and figured if she cocked her head slightly sideways as if distracted by a member of the crowd, she could get away with the sly sip she took from it. "Jackson's such a slut." Max 

Max winced as Bradley spoke, bringing a hand up to mouth and chewing lightly at his fingernails. "I hate this game, let's play something that requires action. Like Red Rover," he suggested, agitation clear in his body language. Tessa 

"Sounds alarming. Tell me no more, or my motherly tendencies will kick in and I'll get awfully scared for your welfare," Tessa pondered, attempting a laugh as she graciously accepted the doughnut. Sliding it onto her stick, she held it out over the fire along with her two marshmallows, toasting all three at once, as she silently observed the game of never have I ever. "Pardon your French!" She outburst at the newcomers remark, the feminist in her outraged at the girl's derogatory statement. How would women ever earn respect for themselves if they consistently used their body parts as a symbol of inferiority. Sawyer 

"This isn't much of a game for you, Lizzie." Sawyer laughed, trying to ignore his /friends/ on the other side of the fire. "The twins are moody tonight." He almost cracked a smile at his own comment, hoping that one of the two heard it. Ariella

Ariella smiled fondly at Bradley, poking her cheek with a chuckle before flushing madly at the question. "Well, is that really necessary?" She rolled her eyes, pressing her lips together. "Ben. Would you like a donut? I still have plenty here." Elizabeth 

"I suppose that's for the best," she replied, taking a small sip from the beer someone had thrust into her hands moments ago. It tasted like what she imagined rotten apples would taste like. She glanced up in the direction Sawyer was looking, a smirk on her face.

Bradley 

Hearing his comment, Bradley spoke up two notches too loud to be intending it just for Pearl. "Don't you think Elizabeth looks frigid enough to be a corpse? Probably the only reason Sawyer can pitch a tent." Tipping her head back to Ariella, she blinked slowly. "Aren't you going to spit in my drink or anything remotely entertaining? I just said I kissed Jackson. I was kind of expecting something interesting." Wyatt 

Wyatt had only decided to show up for the free alcohol, though he found himself more attached to the table of smores that he'd seen Tessa hovering around, and he tried to eat them without being seen, licking the melted chocolate from his fingers as he watched everyone else. Bradley

"Fuck, here's the cock monster," Bradley grumbled to Pearl, pointing out Wyatt with her cup. Elizabeth 

"They're your friends?" Elizabeth spoke in a hushed tone. Sawyer

"As long as they don't talk back," Sawyer muttered into his cup. He glanced to Elizabeth, giving a small nod to her question. "Fucked up, isn't it? They're my best friends." Ariella

"Well. I'm quite tipsy here and I honestly don't give a damn if you kissed Jackson, at the moment. I'm a lazy ass right now. Ask me in a bit, perhaps?" She breathed out and sipped from her drink to answer the question. "I did, just a few hours ago. So what, right?" Juliet 

"Yo dickwad. Come join us instead of lurking in the shadows." Juliet shouted toward Wyatt with a smirk as she pats for him to sit down by the log next to her. Ben 

Ben's cheeks flush red as he suddenly shifts uncomfortably, knowing that he had spent the past two nights with Jackson and things were getting rather intimate. He stands up, hoping to avoid the confrontation and hoping no one notices, "Erm does anyone want a drink?" Bradley

"How fucking boring," Bradley sighed, turning to ignore Ariella from that point forward. Wyatt

Wyatt perked up at the sound of Juliet's voice, smiling a bit as he picked up another smore, glancing at Tessa briefly before making his way to the log Juliet was sitting at, "What I'd miss?" He asked, mouth half full as he sat down. Reese

Sitting in the group she rolled her eyes at how juvenile this game was becoming, "This is getting pretty fucking boring. If we're going to play a game why don't we do something that requires more than just gossiping like a bunch of middleschoolers." Elizabeth 

"I hate them," she replied, stretching out her legs. "Bradley?" she called out. "Come join us. Bring your friend, we haven't met yet."

Sawyer

Sawyer almost gagged, he could feel the metaphorical leash around his neck tightening. Marriage was a bitch. Or he was the bitch. Either way, maybe a jail cell was worth it. Juliet 

The raven haired female merely shrugs, turning to face Wyatt, "Eh the usual. People don't have piercings, others are offended by my fucking crude language, and everyone has apparently kissed Jackson." She rolls her eyes at Reese's comment, "What do you suggest, Reese? Fucking Spin The Bottle?" Ariella 

"Funny how everybody here already kissed Jackson at least once in their lives." Ariella sighed deeply, laying back for a moment while drapping one of her arms over her eyes lazily. "Can you be a sweetheart and bring me a drink - please, Ben?" Tessa 

Tessa stopped dead the moment she noticed Wyatt across the bonfire, chocolate dripping from her open lips. Her brows immediately furrowed, a nervous sweat overcoming her, before she tore her eyes away from her former inamorato, shoving a s'more between her lips. Half of her wanted to run, but she knew to do such a thing would cause far more trouble than it was worth. Instead, she hardened her lips at the boy, turning her attention back to the game at hand. "Never have I ever lied my way into another person's pants." Bradley 

The scowl that formed next was enough to make her wince -- her bruises were still healing and evidently having anger stamped all over your face didn't help the matter. Strolling over, she poured the last of her vodka out on Sawyer's shoes with a tight smile. "Isn't it such a nice evening?" Max 

'Yeah, this is depressing. I second Reese's comment," he mumbled, eyes shifting to Bradley again, who looked far more impacted by the fight she'd mentioned than the previous day. He laughed at the question Tessa chimed in with, shrugging a shoulder and taking a sip of his drink. Elizabeth

"How very," Elizabeth said, watching the stream of vodka land on Sawyer's shoe. "It's a lovely evening to be alive, isn't it Bradley? Frankly, I'm surprised." Ben 

Ben nods his head toward Ariella, stammering a bit, "Yup. Um, sure. I'll get you a drink." Fuck, he had no idea that Ariella and Jackson were a thing and now here Ben was...having feelings for his ex-fling's what? boyfriend? He hands her the drink and sits back down, "So um you and Jackson? You're...dating?" Wyatt

Wyatt was utterly lost, he knew he should have been on time for the bonfire, but he was able to gather that everyone was playing never have I ever, and that it was apparently Tessa's turn, who's statement was more than obviously directed at him, and he found himself rolling his eyes as he took a sip from his beer. Sawyer 

"Fuckin' delightful, Bradley. You're ever the lady." Sawyer shook out his shoes a little, vodka splattering against the grass. "You're both bitches," he muttered under his breath. These women were running his life; he wasn't a fan of not being in control, and he had so little in this moment. Pearl 

Pearl hadn't even noticed the tender voice as the wind carried Elizabeth's summons over to them, just as she didn't notice Bradley's absence beside her until she'd already thrown her drink all over Sawyer's prized shoes. She turned to laugh at Bradley's comment when she saw her standing with Sawyer and something wrenched her insides until she felt sick enough to make the long walk over. Fortunately she'd arrived just in time to be insulted, not that there was a smile on her face to wipe off anyway. Bradley 

"At least I'm not someone's bitch," Bradley cooed, eyes flitting over to indicate Elizabeth with a sweet smile. "Which collar do you prefer around your neck, Elizabeth's, or the one you wore for foreplay with Reid?" Wyatt 

"I was expecting a lot more drunken behavior," Wyatt muttered to Juliet, finishing off his s'more and washing it down with a drink from his bottle, looking around at the various faces, ignoring Tessa's attempts of trying to ignore him so obviously, and humming some when he spots Alyssa, waving a hand at her so she'd come join him and Juliet on the log,. Sawyer 

"Definitely Reid's," Sawyer shrugged, taking a sip of his drink, "but Elizabeth's is much more comfortable. She makes sure the spikes don't leave pressure marks." Elizabeth 

"Reid, is that his name?" she asked, taking a long sip from her beer. "Sounds pretentious. I like it." Pearl 

Pearl's mouth had been dry until that point, and then it was making itself ready for vomit. "Hilarious. Who the fuck is this?" She stared at Elizabeth, the elephant in the room. Juliet 

Juliet merely shrugs as she looks at Wyatt, "People are surprisingly pretty fucking sober. It's honestly boring as shit." Bradley 

"Bree Van De Kamp, I'd assume, from the uptight bitch vibe," Bradley commented. Pearl 

"Spoilers alert. I'm not up to date on my Desperate Housewives." Pearl added, dryly. Max 

Max watched the situation unfolding to the right of him, snatching a bottle of vodka from a helpless bystander and proceeding to chug some. "Never have I ever hated my fucking life in this very moment." Alyssa

Alyssa walked up to the gathering, glancing around before she spotted Wyatt, they boy waving her over. She smiled a little, spotting Juliet beside him as she walked up. "Hey, what I miss? Sawyer

"He is pretentious. Our sheets were silk and a /real/ sacrificial goat's head on the wall." Sawyer redirected his attention to Pearl, easily his best friend in the world. For the moment, at least. "You haven't heard?" He didn't want to tell her, he knew it would break her heart. "Elizabeth's my wife." Juliet 

Juliet leans over to whisper to Alyssa, "It seems like there's some soap opera drama going on right now." Bradley

"Spoiler alert: Orson is a steaming bell end," Bradley crooned, only realising what Sawyer had just said a second after it left his mouth. "Oh. Maybe not the atmosphere for Desperate Housewives trivia." Alyssa

Alyssa frowns, looking around them. "With who?" Pearl 

"That's funny." Pearl was slightly thrown off by the remark since Sawyer was never really one for the odd, humorous remarks, that was always more Bradley's forté. "Do they have a nice chapel in laa laa land?" Tessa 

"I love Desperate Housewives!" Tessa sang ardently, eyes purposefully avoiding Wyatt's, and whilst her tone was jovial, her face was anything but, hand reaching to grab the plastic cup of the person next to her to down the remains of their drink. "Trust me, my need is greater," she remarked, before a dispute could break out. Elizabeth 

"I'm Elizabeth James," she said with a smile, sighing as she saw the fire begin to dim. She got up from her spot on the ground, making her way over to begin stacking more fire wood, attempting to allow more oxygen flow. Wyatt

Wyatt snorts a bit when Juliet whispers to Alyssa, eyeing the two girls up and humming to himself as he watched the drama unfold before them, "Let's refrain from getting ourselves beat up again huh Juliet?" He laughed glancing over at her and pouting playfully at the sight of her bruises, "Just for one night yeah?" He asked though let his attentions be drawn to Tessa again who was shouting about the desperate housewives, eyes rolling as he watched her down a drink. Finn 

Finn hated parties, and he hated drinking games, but he had come to what would surely be a cock-and-balls of a fiasco, Budweisers clutched between white knuckled hands, to appease Harleen in the hope that she'd stop accusing him of being a stick in the mud. When he made his way through the clearing, half-dragged by his partner in crime, it seemed as if the party were already in full swing, insults flying across the circle without even a tipple of alcohol. Surely it'd be a long night. Reese 

"Fucking hell this is RIDICULOUS." Reese stands up, "Never Have I Ever been involved with taking a person's life!" How was it everyone was so caught up in the petty drama when she knew about half of the people here had bigger things to worry about, "Don't worry about fucking drinking. Wouldn't want to out yourselves now, would YOU?" Pearl 

It was like somebody was slamming on her post traumatic trigger button because the name did nothing but exasperate the screaming sirens that hadn't shut up in her head. "You said Elizabeth died." Harleen

Harleen tugged Finn along through the clearing, going on about how he needs to learn to relax and have a little fun instead of being so angry all the time, not noticing the scene before them until they happened upon it, Harleen stopping at the particular statement in the game of Never Have I Ever. "Well we came at an opportune time didn't we?" Tessa 

"Look, the s'mores!" Sawyer 

"It was in the works. Hired a hitman and all." Sawyer taunted, fiddling with the ring he'd finally slipped back on his finger. "I'm kidding, little dove. Just begged for a divorce due to my infidelity." He was far too sober for this. Far too sober. Bradley 

Growing tired of the situation, Bradley yanked a cup from the closest stranger she could find. Taking a sip of the contents, she winced. "Is this a fucking alcopop? I feel sick. Sawyer, could you toss some of that pent up resentment and bitterness of yours in my drink? Maybe give it a bit more of a kick." Pausing when he appeared consumed by his conversation with Pearl, she sighed. "No? Tragic." Abandoning the pair, she floated off to source another drink. Killian 

Killian remains off to the side, watching the drama unfold as he pours himself another drink. Levi 

Levi tugged his coat closer around his frame, already three drinks deep as he navigated the trees. Winding up by Bradley's side, he plucked two cups free and filled them for the each of them. "Did I miss anything exciting?" Charlie 

Not sure what was going on and certainly not ready to play a drinking game he walks over to Killian, "Hey...mind pouring me one?" Elizabeth 

Elizabeth didn't even flinch at Sawyer's words, rolling her eyes. "Okay," she said. "What can I say? I love it when you beg. Plans backfire." Killian 

He glances over at the newcomer, reaching for the bottle he'd previously used and handing it to him. "Have at it." Bradley

"Ariella revealed herself to be as entertaining as a fart in the wind." Pausing, she thought on it some as washed down her itch for an argument with a gulp of whatever he passed her way. "Juliet mauled me like a rabid dog. Nothing much." Swiping a strand of hair back from her bruised cheek, she scanned the rest of the bonfire occupants. "I'm still waiting for someone to sniff bath salts and eat their own arm." Ben

The game was certainly getting out of hand. Surely no one here was involved with murder, "Erm...Never Have I Ever played Spin The Bottle?" Hoping to dim the drama down Levi 

"Wow," Levi laughed before chugging down whatever drink he had mustered up for the two. "That's the problem with the woods, there's wild animals everywhere." He shrugged as his gaze moved each person at the bonfire. "Is everyone insanely sober still?" Max 

"Nope," Max replied to Levi. Pearl 

"Stop calling me that, you sick fuck, is anything you told me even real?" she screamed, it was like a vessel had burst in the thick hum of her brain, "what the fuck, you're married? What's next? Bradley's got a secret twin, Max is fucking Augustus Gloop," with every word spoken, another slosh of liquid sprayed over the edge of Pearl's waving drink, "Jesus Christ, you're so full of shit, I'm surprised you can even get your words out." Bradley 

Bradley barely flinched at Pearl's screaming -- it had started to sound like a catchy pop song, the amount of times she'd heard it. Sometimes she even hummed along. "So eventful. Let's throw someone on the bonfire to keep the flames going, next. The world's our oyster." Alyssa 

Not wanting to dwell on the scene in front of her, Alyssa began to look around for someone not currently involved with what was happening. Spotting Tessa, she smiled brightly. "Hey Tess." Finn 

"Perhaps we should just turn around and quit while we're ahead, lass." The Dubliner commented in an apathetic drawl, taking a swig from his beer bottle, the pungent stench only adding to the flavour. Finn hated the taste of beer - he drank it only for one purpose; to make him personable to others, and to himself, to loosen his tongue and his hips, and to network. Tonight, none of those promising opportunities led him feeling particularly energised - but needs must, and he'd made a promise. Though judging by the growing carnage, he wouldn't be staying long to witness the battle. Ariella 

Ariella looked over at Ben and sighed at the question, flushing. "It's... complicated. Now that you live here, you will soon find out Jackson Roberts doesn't do 'dating'. He likes having options as he states, himself." She breathed out. "We have a back and forth thing. We can't really put our shit together. We are together for a while, then not anymore. Back again, at what it seems. I just don't even know anymore." She gulped down some of the drink to answer the Never Have I Ever Question. "Everybody played Spin the Bottle at least once in their lives." Harleen 

Harleen rolled her eyes, looking over at her friend. "Something tells me that anywhere we go involving Atticus students will end up this way. Might as well stay and make the best of it," she tells him, taking his hand again. "Look, they've got s'mores," she grins, turning back towards him. "Just stuff your face with chocolate." Levi 

Levi was about to respond to Max when he overheard the wailing woman - Pearl. "I'm going to need a few more drinks," he mumbled, sloshing vodka wildly into his drink like a man possessed. Spencer

Spencer had lost track of time but to be perfectly honest, time was something he kept track of. Especially since he was always in a drunken state. Naturally, he showed up to the bonfire already shitfaced with a bottle of vodka in hand. He ignores everyone, eyes fixated right on the fire as he walks toward it and pours the vodka in it, hollering as it bursts up and screeches, "FUCKING HELL YES! I LOVE Bonfires!" He says before taking a swig of his vodka and tripping over, falling onto Levi before grinning and poking his cheek, "HEY. I know you. GUYS. What the fuck is UP? Why is everyone just sitting around like...like...things that sit...like rocks? Where's the music? Where's the orgy? Where's Bob Saget?" Sawyer 

Pearl's hysterics were expected; he'd prepared himself for this fit of passion. "What was I supposed to say Pearl? I wasn't ready to tell any of you about her and by that point --" Sawyer stopped for a moment, he didn't want to do this here. "By the time I thought I could trust the lot of you, I was with Reid. I couldn't quite tell my boyfriend, could I?" He finally rose from his place in the grass, shoving his hands in his pockets. Sawyer wanted to run, he didn't want to be talking about this. Confrontation wasn't his forte, unless it involved an innocent heartbeat and his knife. "Fuck, Pearl. What was I supposed to do? I asked her for a divorce." He looked up at his friend, ignoring his wife a few feet over. "I want out, there's nothing more that I want. I don't have a choice." Tessa 

Tessa's cup crushed in her fingers the moment Pearl let out a bloodcurdling scream. Part of her desperately wanted to rush to the girl's side, but somehow she knew that would only do more to damage the escalating situation. Dazed, it was only after a few seconds that she noticed her name had been called, turning to notice Alyssa beside her. "Oh! Hey Lyss..." She began uneasily, before forcing a bright smile. As much as the situation with Wyatt pained her, she could never resent Alyssa for it. Lyss had no place in this - the fault was Wyatt's alone - and she would always stand by her friend before she even considered the side of another guy. Chicks before dicks was a mantra she held close to her heart. "Sorry, I was a bit caught up in it all. Would you like a s'more? I've got plenty." Killian 

Killian watched the scene unfold, frowning when Pearl began to yell at Sawyer, taking a step towards her in case those little claws began flying. Wyatt 

Wyatt glanced at Alyssa when she spoke out to Tessa, sipping his beer and leaning forward some, looking at the pixie of a girl across from them and wondering how Tessa could be bright and smiley with her but not him. "Could I have another one?" He cut in, looking to Tessa with a raised brow, "You could always sit with us since you're good friends with Lyssa." Bradley 

"Jesus fucking Christ," Bradley muttered as Spencer burst over, moving closer to Levi like uniting as a front would protect them against such a raving mad man. "I can't believe it -- Rupert Grint in the flesh!" Bradley gushed sarcastically, indicating his flame of hair. "I'm such a fan, Rupe. Such a fan." Levi 

His drink spilled slightly, laughing towards both Bradley and Spencer. Perhaps he'd spice up the bonfire a little more - god knows it needed it. "Should we call you an ambulance in advance, or will you make it to the end?" Levi teased before adding, "Have you guys met?" Finn 

His eyes snapped across towards Harleen's as she took his hand once more, lips pursing at the gesture of affectionate. To Harleen, it was standard practice; to Finn, it was anything but. "Harls, yer' totally soccer-mam'ing me again," but a smile managed to pass his features, his digits squeezing hers briefly, before his eyes followed the line of her vision. "Have all the s'mores ye' want. I'm lactose intolerant." The scream was met with a characteristic eye roll, and despite the few occasions they had been acquainted, he could identify it immediately as Pearl's. "Bloody hell. She ain't 'alf got a mouth on her, that one." Max 

Max felt kind of disconnected this evening, taking another sip of his hi-jacked vodka bottle. "Is this your fuckbuddy? I've always wondered what a real life ginger was like in bed." Alyssa 

Alyssa smiled when Tessa began to talk to her, nodding and reaching for a s'more before Wyatt cut in. The tense smile on Tessa's face brought a frown to Alyssa's, and she looked between her friends, sensing a sort of tension. She tried to ignore it, however, though she could see Tessa's discomfort. "How about I take Tessa to get a drink instead?" Bradley 

"I had a nightmare once where Krusty the Clown stole my lip gloss, so I guess you could say we have," she nodded, as if there was any facial similarity at all between Spencer and the cartoon comedian. Knocking back another gulp of her drink, she propped herself hastily against the tree behind her to avoid going dizzy. Spencer 

That wasn't the first time he had been compared to such, hearing all of the ginger jokes mostly about Ron Weasley, Donald Trump or Chuckie from Rugrats. He merely just grinned, draping himself over Levi as he leans his head back to look up at Bradley upside down, "The spiders...they want me to tap dance." Spencer jokes before sitting up, "Please, no pictures." He shields his face, before shaking his head, "I don't need an ambulance." He then looks at Max, "You can find out for yourself, hotshot." Spencer teases with a smirk before rolling off of Levi's lap, "Seriously though why is everyone just sitting here and braiding each others hair?" Alyssa

Alyssa smiled when Tessa began to talk to her, nodding and reaching for a s'more before Wyatt cut in. The tense smile on Tessa's face brought a frown to Alyssa's, and she looked between her friends, sensing a sort of tension. She tried to ignore it, however, though she could see Tessa's discomfort. "How about I take Tessa to get a drink instead?" Pearl 

"Stop calling him your boyfriend! Stop it, stop it, just shut the fuck up!" She ran her fingers through her air as a last ditch attempt to calm herself down for such public displays of emotion left her feeling vulnerable and exposed, it only dawned on her then that she'd always been the frightened baby deer and the boy in front of her had been the one behind the headlights. "You're driving me insane, can't you see that?" She sounded like a little girl. There was nothing left to say; Pearl shrunk away from Sawyer and began to tear away from the eyes of the crowd, when she banged into Killian and her drink went splashing straight down him. "Fuck, Killian, I'm so sorry--" Bradley 

"Christ," Bradley grimaced, swallowing from her cup again. "Can somebody come and contain Chlamydia Callum over here? I'm stressed," she sighed, attempting to fake vague interest despite it fading rapidly. Max 

Max raised a brow. "Hotshot. Love it, we're in a teen slasher from the 80s," he mumbled. "What the fuck happened to you?" Max asked, gesturing toward Bradley. Sawyer 

Sawyer rolled his eyes, calling after Pearl as she ran away. "You're being a touch dramatic, Winters!" Levi 

"They're just as fiery as their hair," he smirked over to Max - taking a large swig of his drink. Harleen 

Harleen shot her friend a look at the comment of her soccer momming him. "I am not. I just know that if I let go yer gonna turn tail and run back to the car," she says, reaching for a s'more and laughing some at his comment about the emotional blonde. "Least you know sex with her would be an experience." Tessa 

The warmth that Tessa had offered to Alyssa turned to ice the moment her stare found Wyatt's. She remembered her golden rule - no matter how she felt, no matter what emotions clouded her mind, do not make a scene. With a huff, she leaned back in her seat, as if the deadly infection that all fuckboy's carried around with them, commonly referred to as chlamydia, was an airborne virus which should she find herself too close to Wyatt, she might catch. It was childish. Tess knew it was childish. And she knew that deep down, she couldn't bring herself to truly hate Wyatt, but her forced smile was acidic as negative pH as she thrust the bag of marshmallows towards Wyatt, standing up to accept Alyssa's request. "I'd like that. I'd appreciate some air." Elizabeth 

"So..." Elizabeth began. "Your friends are nice." Sawyer

"Don't fucking start, Elizabeth." Sawyer slid out of his shoes, trying to shake the remaining vodka from their surfaces. Bradley

"That Juliet girl that has eyes as big as raisins," she informed Max vaguely, a quiet laugh catching at the image before it faded into another sip from her cup. "I think she thought my head was a bongo. Very happy slappy." Juliet

"You getting cold?" Juliet says to Wyatt before grabbing a blanket and draping it over them, her hand resting on his thigh before slowly making it's way up teasingly, "Shit. Why is everyone so surprised Sawyer is fucking married? He's basically Hannah Fucking Montana. Living a doubled life." A smirk preys onto her lips as her hand reaches her destination, no one knowing what she was doing to Wyatt under the blanket, though not letting up. Killian

Killian watched Pearl closely, growing more concerned with her outburst until she began to hurry away from the scene. In hindsight, he probably should've moved out of the way before her drink found itself all over his shirt, but he couldn't care less. He gripped her arms carefully, ignoring the annoying cling of his shirt to his skin. "Hey, don't worry about it alright? What was that about?" He asks, while trying to tug her behind the drinks table for a small sense of privacy as she calmed herself down.

Finn 

"'M not gonna' run. Ye' have such a low opinion of me," Finn remarked, taking another swig of his beer before offering the bottle to the brunette. "Fucking fantastic, but Jaysus, Harls, is that all you think about?" Gingerly, he took a seat on one of the furthest logs from the bloodbath, picking up a long stick to prod the flaming logs with as he pulled his cell phone from his pocket, typing a tweet as he observed the drama before him. Elizabeth

"Yes sir," she said, smirking down at the ground. Bradley

Sighing in exaggerated fashion into her cup, Bradley shrugged loosely. "Why's it so fucking cold? I'm going to sue." Eyes roaming, she headed toward the nearest source of heat -- Wyatt and Juliet's blanket. Pulling it up in one swift tug, she hung it over one arm. "Think of the childr--" Her eyes grew wide when she saw Juliet's hand. "What the fuck?" Calling out to anyone in earshot, Bradley made a point of putting on mock outrage. "Juliet's giving Wyatt a fucking handy, the animal." Alyssa 

Alyssa stood up as Tessa did, not looking back towards Wyatt and Juliet as she linked her arm with Tessa's and began to walk off in search of drinks. "Are you okay?"

Pearl 

"After tonight, nothing will be the same again. Three cheers for the end of the world." Pearl stole a drink off a passer by and raised it to her lips, perhaps if she downed it in one then she'd finally stop shaking. Max 

"Juliet did this?" he asked. A switch flicked on in his head and he had to resist his clenched fists. He was about to speak when he witnessed Bradley strut off toward her, nearly choking on his own saliva at the scene. "Jesus Christ," he mumbled under his breath, running his hands over his face. "Fuck this," he said, pushing the bottle of vodka against Levi's chest fir him to take and making his way back in the direction of campus. Sawyer

Sawyer shook his head; he wanted nothing more than to smack the smirk off Elizabeth's face. "Go get me a fresh drink, would you sweetheart?" His voice dripped with venom, he needed a break. She hadn't been back a full weekend and Sawyer was already ready for his prison sentence. Harleen 

"That's exactly what I think about," she tells him, grabbing herself a beer and sitting down beside him. "Well, that and what people can do for me but that's a story for another day," she jokes, before hearing someone, Bradley, yelling about a handy and she snorted some, taking a swig of her beer. "Looks like I'm not the only one thinkin' bout sex all the time." Levi 

He raised a brow to the two before she was gone - and then Max was off. "What the fuck," he glanced in both directions before adding more vodka to his drink and gulping it down. Levi almost choked, laughing as he overheard Bradley. "Wow." Killian

Killian sighed, watching as his trembling friend, stealing a drink and beginning to down it. He glanced around some before letting out another heavy sigh. "Look, here," he says, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small baggie with a couple of colorful pills. "Take one of these," he says as he places it in her hand discreetly, before hearing Bradley's yell. "Look, Bradley's embarrassing people. That always makes you feel better doesn't it?" Elizabeth

Elizabeth rolled her eyes again, making her way toward the drinks off to the side of the fire. Sawyer 

The embers to a building fire had been growing in Sawyer's chest, finally catching flame as Elizabeth rolled her eyes for the umpteenth time. He grabbed her wrist, pulling the girl tight against himself. "Roll your eyes again, Little Dove." Sawyer hissed in her ear. He didn't care who heard, he couldn't care less who saw. "I may be bound to you under God's law, but I can still make the rest of your life a living hell." He let go, almost pushing her back in the process. "However long that may be. Don't test me." Max 

(drug tw) After a few lines and a quick drag from a crinkled spliff that he'd started smoking before leaving, he felt well enough to return again. He took the vodka bottle back, inspecting the contents that had lessened. "Ass," he said, though he didn't care. It didn't even belong to him. He washed down the metallic taste in the back of his throat with the vodka, shaking himself out. He noticed Killian hand Pearl a bag of pills, his eyes narrowing at Killian. "If this is some fucked up plan to get yourself laid, I'll fucking kill you." Bradley 

Pulling the blanket around her like a cape for the world's worst super hero, Bradley returned to Levi's side. "Shit. What a rollercoaster. We laughed, we cried. We met Rupert Grint, we saw Juliet give Wyatt a cheeky wank. What's next?" Killian 

(drug tw) Killian glanced over when he heard Max, his eyes rolling hard at his words. "Relax, puppy, I don't fucking roofie people."

Pearl 

(drugs tw) Pearl didn't need convincing, the electricity of his touch spoke miles in itself. She slid the pill onto her tongue and mimicked its smiling expression, washing it away with a gulp of badly mixed spirits and beer. "This drink is giving me hives," she almost gagged while searching for Bradley in the crowd, her spirits immediately feeling lifted at the mention, "true, I love that crazy bitch. Who's she burning at the stake now? A blanket?" Pearl squinted and followed the shocked screams, "holy shit." Tessa 

Tessa's eyes only narrowed more as she saw Juliet drape the blanket over Wyatt's lap, hand moving beneath the material. Before she could make a scene, the girl had bustled herself away, arm in arm with Alyssa, a face like thunder and a tempest raging within. "I'm fine!" She declared, her eyes searching for something alcoholic. "I've just had a long day. I need a drink that's all. Promise." Killian 

(drug tw) He turned back to Pearl, watching as she took the pill and washed it down with someone's horribly mixed drink before she turned to find Bradley in the crowd. "Looks like Juliet and that Wyatt kid," he muttered, taking another drink from his cup. "Someone was getting a handy." Elizabeth 

(abuse tw jic) Elizabeth was almost free of the confines of Sawyer's drama, when she felt a hand wrap around her wrist. A shiver moved up her spine, but she didn't dare let her gaze drift from his. She swallowed, but tried her best not to look affected, steadying her feet as she was pushed back. "Right back at you, sweetheart," she said, but her voice broke. Levi 

"Pretty ass," Levi corrected Max as he took the vodka back - it was fine, he had already emptied half into his cup. "And now we're watching husband and wife bicker." Alyssa

Alyssa nodded some, about to say something when she had been interrupted by Bradley's scream. She looked back, seeing the compromising position Wyatt and Juliet were found in. She held back her laugh, shaking her head. "Fucking horndog," she muttered, turning back to her friend and reaching to get her a cup. "Lets see what we can mix to get you real fucked up yeah?" Reese 

Reese was not an idiot, sitting next to Elizabeth and Sawyer, she could notice how fragile the girl sounded. Glaring at Sawyer she wrapped an arm around Elizabeth, "Hey, I'm Reese. Want to get a drink with me? Get away from the drama. It's refreshing to see a new face." Max 

"Are you complimenting my ass or yourself?" he asked, drinking more down just to make this evening tolerable. He narrowed his eyes at Killian's reply, but didn't proceed to say a word more. He knew the drugs would make him more angry than he already felt. Finn 

"At least yer' honest," Finn remarked in response, offering a roll of his eyes. "Course ye' ain't. What was that thing that Oscar Wilde said? Everythin' in the world is about sex - except sex - sex is about power." His eyes glanced between the transaction taking place between Killian and Pearl, lips paused on the brim of his beer bottle. "On a scale of one to ten," he began, turning his attention back to Harleen, "how reckless are you feelin'?" Bradley 

Bradley avoided looking at the scene after spotting it, trying to ignore the twisting feeling in her stomach it provoked. "Yeah. That's marriage for you." Tucking her face back into her cup, she took another sip -- one that she definitely didn't need given the current state of her balance. "I need a cigarette." Sawyer 

(blood mention tw) Sawyer's lips curled in a wicked smile; he'd finally gotten her to crack. It was enough to satisfy his hunger, at least for now. Nothing would feel right until blood was spilled. As Reese pulled Elizabeth away, and him from his thoughts, his smile faded to something more innocent. "Don't have too much fun, Little Dove." He blew a kiss in her direction, as she walked off. He made a note to keep an eye on Reese, at least for now. Juliet

Everyone was looking at her and Wyatt and she merely shrugged, "Oh don't act all so fucking surprised. Consider it free porn. Sawyer, you can add it to your spank bank." Bradley

A wild laugh snared on her lips. "As if Sawyer would wank over that crusty old bitch." Levi

"I've already complimented yours recently, I don't want it going to your head." Levi pulled a pack from his pocket, waving it over to Bradley. "Help yourself." Sawyer 

His direction pulled to the drama surrounding Bradley, Sawyer laughed. "I've got better taste than that. Wyatt's not quite my type." Juliet

Juliet rolled her eyes, "Crusty old bitch? After the throw down in the bathroom I thought you had more in you." Elizabeth 

Elizabeth jumped as the girl approached and spoke to her, quickly gathering her emotions and putting on the stone-faced act she'd grown so used to over the years. "Sure! I'm Elizabeth, you are?" Harleen 

"Of course sex is about power. Sex can make anyone do anything if you're good enough at it," she tells him, glancing over in the direction Finn seemed to be fixated on. "Always at a ten, my love. What're ye thinking?" Bradley 

Sniping a cigarette from the masses Levi jut her way, Bradley propped it between her lips and shot Juliet a smile. "God, throw his cock in your mouth already and do what you're best at. I'm tired of hearing you speak." Tessa 

"How can you stand here and laugh?" Tessa began incredulously, dark eyes wide with shock. "Doesn't it even bother you that he's so blatantly letting another girl get him off while you're here? I mean I know you guys aren't like -- official -- or whatever, but still! Can't he be more discrete?!" Her stare hardened as her fingers locked around the bottle of tequila, pouring herself a shot whilst Alyssa got to work concocting a cocktail. Throwing the shot back into her mouth, Tess's features contorted into an expression of disgust. "Great Scott, that's repulsive! Why would anyone drink that?" For the same reason she would; to get black out drunk enough to forget everything that had happened. Reese 

She grinned, looping her arms with the girl before flipping Sawyer off and leading Elizabeth away, "I'm Reese. You're new. Where are you from? Also I'd apologize for all of this but unfortunately it's the norm." Spencer 

"Shit, and I thought I was a horny guy." Spencer says with a chuckle before reaching into his pocket and grabbing a cigarette placing it between his teeth as he remains near Juliet and Bradley, "By the way, I'm Spencer. You can call me Rupert if you want. He's pretty hot." Elizabeth 

Elizabeth noticed the gesture, eyes flickering back behind her to catch the expression on his face. "Alabama," she replied. "I know. I got married to the drama." Levi 

Levi followed suit and lit up soon after, taking a long drag as he watched the conversation be thrown back and forth. Taking a couple more swigs of his drink before dropping his empty cup to the floor. Pearl 

Pearl covered her childish laughter at Bradley's comment with the rim of her punch cup, her body already feeling warmer in Killian's shadow. Seemingly out of nowhere, she span round to plant a rushed kiss on his cheek, "thanks." It was all she said and all she needed to. "Anyways, now to lose my mind a little." She dug her heels in to the muddy ground and waited for the pill to work its magic. Alyssa 

Alyssa's eyes widened slightly at Tessa's outburst, shocked enough that she nearly missed her cup when she began to pour some vodka into it. "Well in his defense they tried to use a blanket," she says with a shrug. Sure, it used to bother her, back when they're little 'thing' was closer to a relationship than a friendship. But he didn't do relationships and Alyssa wasn't ready to jump back into one, so they'd simply remained friends and roommates. But she had a sense that Tessa wasn't very well talking about her and she sighed softly. "Look, he's a boy. A stupid one, at that. He's living his college years to the fullest and thinking that I'm going to be the one to change that is just... naive. We aren't here to fix them, and we aren't here to beg for someone's love that they don't want to give." Juliet 

"Gladly. Knew you wanted to watch me blow him. Not a coincidence it was you who caught us under the blanket. Look, if you're jealous Bradley just let me know and I'll go down on you. I'm used to choking on pubes."

Finn 

(drugs tw) "I'm thinkin' you and I make a deal with Mephistopheles," Finn answered, nodding his head towards Killian and the bag he clutched in his fingers. "That sure as shit ain't smarties, love." Reese 

Her eyes widen when Elizabeth mentions Alabama, "Shit. And you came here cause of Sawyer? I'm originally from Dublin so I know how hard moves can be." Bradley 

"You got me. I always had a thing for the butch sisters in Shrek and you really align with that image." Toking on her cigarette, she leaned back on the tree more for necessity than anything else. The weight of the day was starting to dawn on her more than she'd admit, so silence seemed her best bet for a few moments. Elizabeth 

"He sent me some letter about divorce. He knows I couldn't do that," she explained, careful to leave out parts of her history. "Dublin? I bet it's beautiful there." Spencer 

Spencer drunkenly wraps his arm around Levi, leaning his weight onto him, "Why is everyone being so boring?" Though he can't help but laugh at Bradley's comment as he shoots her a grin, "Shit. Remind me to never mess with you. I like you." Killian 

Killian laughed, shaking his head some at the sudden burst of affection. "Stay close," he muttered, taking another passerby's drink after dropping his own cup. "Wouldn't want you wandering off into the arms of a creep," he joked lightly, watching her as planted herself beside him. Bradley 

"Thanks, I'll autograph your forehead later if you want." Tucking her head down, she stared at the cherry of her cigarette absently. Levi 

Levi glanced to Max as she mentioned Shrek, laughing to himself before shrugging. "I don't know, there's a lack of excitement." He somewhat helps hold Spencer up and smirked over to Bradley. "I wondered who she reminded me of." Harleen 

A laugh bubbled up from her chest. Surely he thought he was being more discreet, but the alcohol must've clouded his judgement on that. Not that anyone here cared about the exchange. "I'm game. Let's go. You do the talking and I'll stand by and look pretty." Tessa 

What hurt most about Alyssa's statement was the truth it contained. She couldn't make a boy love her if he himself was incapable of love. Love, to Wyatt, was one night, freely given, and the chance to spread his wild oats across campus. Love to Tessa was far more delicate, far more sentimental, and unfortunately, far more fragile. The love she believed in had been broken by Wyatt - it wasn't his fault, as much as she tried to force the blame on him, that he couldn't love her. "Perhaps he is just incapable of love, then." Tessa responded, turning her head towards Alyssa, and with that she downed the drink in front of her, holding her nose to lessen the acidic taste. Wyatt

Wyatt was staying quiet during it all, a little annoyed that Juliet had to stop what she was doing, his hand squeezing the inside of her thigh some to calm her as she went off on Bradley, not in the mood to watch an all out brawl between the two girls, "Why don't we just stop talking to each other yeah? Ignore each other's existence, just be happy and mellow." Spencer 

Spencer lets out a long, audible sigh, "I can't believe I missed the game." Poking Levi in the side before whipping his head around, "Where's Elias? He's fun. Though he'd be grumpy because it's cold out." Bradley 

"Thanks, Wyatt. Way to control your mutt. Don't you think she's a bit of a downgrade though? Tessa to Juliet. It's like going from a Bentley to a bicycle," Bradley scoffed.

Wyatt 

Wyatt rolled his eyes some, knowing full well that what Bradley said was gonna set Juliet off, "This is the opposite of ignoring each others existence Bradley." Bradley 

Imitating a bite at the air, she shrugged. "I'm feral, Wyatt. I can't be tamed." Sawyer 

"She can't." Sawyer's murderous rampage was over, and was now entertaining himself with a piece of grass and Bradley's drama. Wyatt 

He can't help his laugh, "Right, right okay, but you two are gonna go at it again, and unless clothes are being taken off I don't really care to watch." Alyssa

Alyssa shrugged, looking back on the scene. "He loves, just not in the way you would want him to," she says, unsure why she was even defending him. Sighing, she watched Tessa down her drink. "Enough being blue over a boy, Tess. The world is filled with boys," she says, holding out the mix of her drink for Tessa to try. "There's only one you, and no one should have the power to change that." Sawyer 

(blood tw) "I'd get a poncho. I think there will be bloodspray this time." Bradley 

"Yeah, I forget you can't concentrate unless your tiny mollusc of a dick is being tugged on. My bad." Glancing at Sawyer, she tried her best to ignore him. Levi 

"Sleeping," he shrugged, "he'd be pouting until I gave him my coat." Levi flicked the remains of his cig to the grass - laughing at Bradley's comments. Pearl 

Pearl's jaw hung open at Bradley's comment though she couldn't deny the truth to it, Tessa truly was a wild rose amidst a tangle of thorns. "I'm done with creeps," she grimaced and crushed the plastic drink in her hand, in turn, taking another off a passing frat boy. "It's like having waiter service."

Reese 

"What? Get a divorce? Why? You still love him." She grimaces, shaking her head, "Sorry. Question overload. I'm a bit nosy. I don't mean to get personal. Wyatt 

Wyatt snorts not one to really be bothered by petty and juvenile behavior, "Yup, tiny dick, that's me." Sawyer 

"We know. We all saw it." Sawyer chuckled at his own remark, picking at a new piece of grass. Killian 

Killian entertained himself with the new scene unfolding in front of him, almost hoping there would be a fight between the two. His money was on Juliet, but then again Bradley was pretty wild. It could be an even fight. "I don't see what the point is, were they even dating?" He asked Pearl quietly, never one to truly keep up with people's soap operas unless it was happening in front of him like it was now. "Good," he nodded at her remark, letting out a short laugh when she took another drink. "Least we're helping them, keeping them from making fools of themselves like our friends over there." Juliet

Juliet gets up and grabs the cigarette from Spencer's drunken hands as she burns the ignited part onto Bradley's neck, "Whoops. My hand slipped." Twisting it even further as the smoke rose up.

Finn

(drugs tw) "Fine," Finn declared, pushing himself from his seat. He took another swig of his beer, offering a hand for Harleen, before he strolled towards the moustached lad, offering a wave. "Hey, mate. It's Killian, right? We're looking for a quarter each of E. Can you cut us a deal?" Levi 

"What the fuck," Levi shouted, "what the actual fuck?"

Sawyer 

"What the fuck, Juliet?" Sawyer rose, grabbing Juliet's arm in the same fluid motion. His fingers pressed into the flesh of her wrist, nails digging deeper until she dropped the cigarette. With his elbow, he pushed her back. "Seriously? Really? That's shit I don't even do." Wyatt 

"Hey, hey not cool!" Wyatt was up the second he saw Juliet putting the cigarette to Bradley's neck, not wanting anyone to be getting hurt despite who he had ties to, "Juliet!" He wrapped his arm around the girls tiny waist, trying to pull her away from Bradley.

Bradley 

She'd been in a world of her own as Juliet approached but the jolt of hot ash on her neck had definitely done it's job in bringing her back. "What the fuck?" Clasping a hand to the burn, Bradley emitted a half laugh, half gasp of pure disbelief. "Do you get any more fucking tragic?" Pearl

The drink fell from Pearl's hands as Juliet stubbed the lit cigarette out, her heart was in her eardrums, "you little fucking rat." Killian 

Killian glanced up from Pearl when he heard another voice talking to him, glancing up and spotting the two latecomers and raising his brow. He's about to say something when he hears more yelling, seeing the scene before him. "Woah, hey!" He glanced at the pair before heading towards the chaos ensuing. "What the fuck was that Juliet?" Bradley 

Surging forwards after she processed the ordeal, Bradley shoved Juliet full force towards the burning bonfire at the centre of the grass. "Psychotic little fucking bitch." Harleen 

Harleen followed Finn, fingers interlaced with his as he spoke to the dealer before yelling interrupted them and she turned, eyes widening comically at the scene. Unconsciously, she stepped closer to Finn's side. "Holy shit Finn," she gasped, watching the fight unfold. Levi 

Levi let out a loud laugh, unsure how to cope with the situation in front of him but to take the vodka from Max and taking a large swig. "Satan has burned you."

Bradley

Returning to Levi, she shook out her hand, rage swelling up in little bursts and making her restless. "If someone doesn't drag her home I'm going to fucking kill her." Sawyer 

Sawyer pulled back, moving farther back to sit in the grass and watch the scene unfold. "I swear, this is why we can't have nice things." Finn 

"Wow, maybe getting buzzed will have to wait, Harls. I think we should get out, like pronto," Finn remarked, slowly beginning to back away from the situation, one hand clutching Harleen, the other swiping his lock screen to livetweet Jules' latest homicidal stunt. Pearl 

Pearl covered her gaping mouth with her fingers, still trembling with violent anger at watching her best friend get singed. "Bradley!" She called to the manic brunette in a short fire bid at stopping her from getting carried away, but in the end her lack of morals got the better of her, "you need a hand?" Bradley 

"Does anyone have any aloe vera, perhaps?" Bradley joked, the expression on her face indicating her heart wasn't really in it. A trembling hand brought her cigarette back to her mouth and she fell silent as she smoked away some of her restlessness. Juliet 

Juliet yanked her hand away from Sawyer, gritting her teeth at him, "Fuck off, Sawyer. This doesn't involve you whatsoever." Though she dropped the cigarette, breaking away from him and not focusing on any of the other people, only focused on her hatred for Bradley. How the FUCK was it that she got away with being such a bitch to everyone, thinking she was above everyone else and no one fucking stood up to her? "Let go of me, Wyatt! Why the fuck are you guys acting like she's the fucking victim here? She's been terrorizing everyone this entire fucking night! And fights involve two people? Yeah. She's not the only one fucking beaten up. Not to fucking mention the bitch broke my camera! The only thing left I had from my mom. And she just gets away with it? FUCK THAT." Pushing the other girl back before, trembling over and trying not to fall into the fire, "This is ridiculous." Bradley 

Clasping a hand to her chest, Bradley played up against Juliet's speech. "I'm a tiny, innocent child. Protect me." Alyssa 

Alyssa gasped at the scene before her, instinctively taking a few steps forward before looking back at Tessa. "Come on," she says quickly, making her way towards her signed friend, her hands hovering, ignoring Juliet's rant. "Bradley are you okay?" Sawyer 

Sawyer, now comfortable in his spot in the grass, couldn't help but laugh at Juliet's rampage. "This is about a camera? How old are you? Six?" Tessa

Tessa, meanwhile, was content to ignore the drama unfolding behind her, sipping her homemade Martini as she added another cube of ice to her drink. "Sure, plenty more fish in the sea, right?" She uttered to Alyssa, forcing a smile as she turned, only to notice Alyssa gone, and Bradley at the heart of the action. "Oh, Christ on a bike," Tessa remarked with a sigh, chugging the remnants of her martini before rushing over to the source of the chaos. "Wow. Bradley, that looks bad! Luckily I did first aid training with the girl scouts, and it doesn't look like it'll scar too badly, but I think you should get it looked at by a professional. Now I think it's time we all just take a time out and calm down. Who knows Kumbayah?" Harleen

Harleen nodded, letting Finn pull her back a few steps. "Did you get it on video?" She asks, spotting the lost looking Wyatt in the middle of the mayhem. She raises her hand, waving him over and watching as he gratefully took the out, sliding away from the drama, hoping to go unnoticed. "Let's go Finn," she mutters, tugging him back towards the parking lot. Bradley 

Shrugging, Bradley did her best to layer on an air of cool despite her mood significantly souring as the seconds passed. "Everything's tickety boo. Totally disco," she quoted Luther in abstract fashion, holding her cigarette like an old Hollywood starlet for theatrics. Upon Tessa's rambling, her lips formed a faint crescent moon. "I happen to be well versed in Kumbayah, actually." Pearl 

"You're a psychotic joke." Pearl had skulked her way to Bradley's side like a wounded hyena seeking the comfort of the pack. "I mean, can we have a raise of hands, who here even likes you Juliet? You can't raise your own hand, obviously, seeming as it's been used to desperately jerk wieners and nobody wants to see that." Bradley 

Bradley unleashed the least graceful noise she'd ever made in her life, nearly choking on the laugh that followed. "Fuck." Killian

Killian sighed, turning away from Juliet towards where Pearl was now standing with Bradley, the burn on her neck looking anything but pleasant. Sure, she was constantly pressing buttons but she didn't deserve a cigarette to the neck. Maybe an arm or something, but that was beside the point. "Shit," he says, taking a closer look. "That's gonna one hell of a story to tell." Conor 

Conor had been keeping up with the bonfire thanks to Levi’s twitter account, too busy with his job to be there in time. He wanted to be there so badly, it was the perfect chance to meet people and that was why he had fled the club the second the presentation was over, sure one of his friends would collect his part for him. And now that he was there, he had no idea what was going on, so like anyone else would do, he went ans sat down next to a hot guys on the grass, watching a fight develop “What happened?”

Pearl 

Pearl turned away from the frantic mess that was Juliet's decision making skills. "It'll be okay, I'm sure it'll just turn out like an ugly birthmark or something. You can tattoo around it and turn it into a sun. It'll be cute."

Sawyer 

Sawyer pulled a cigarette from the pack in his pocket, looking up as the boy approached him. "Too fucking much," he muttered, digging in his other pocket for a lighter. "If you're going to be invading my space, have you at least got a light?" Bradley 

Laughing under her breath, she nodded. "Or a meteor. Love that space shit." Alyssa

"I know a place that does some great tattoos," she says, pushing Bradley's hair away from the wound. Conor

Nodding, he pulled it out of his pocket, offering the lighter without taking his eyes of the fight "So, who started it?" Sawyer 

"Which one?" He mumbled, lighting the cigarette bouncing between his teeth. "I blame my fucking /wife/ for the first one. Juliet started the second." He handed the lighter back, pulling the cigarette from his lips. "Juliet went off the wall though, so it ended pretty quickly. A shame, too. I had my poncho ready for a blood bath." Killian 

"Least you took the cigarette like a champ. Not a tear in sight," he hums. "Would it be insensitive to light up right now, by the way?" Conor 

"You're married? Who would've thought?” He said, laughing and looking around for Tessa. The need to be mean to the girl was too great to ignore it, and he didn’t even feel bad about it… or her. “I don’t think a poncho would be very useful during a blood bath, it would make things messy” Max 

Max reemerged from his fireside nap, eyes darting around. "What happened? Consider me Frank emerging naked from the sofa?" Bradley 

"Feel free," Bradley mumbled in Killian's direction, confident bravado clearly ebbing as she fiddled quietly with her cigarette. Sawyer 

"Yeah, who'd've thought." Sawyer took a long drag from his cigarette. "I tried killing her once, but she's a resilient bitch." He looked to his new company, feigning a laugh. "Kidding. I'm kidding. We're Christians. Miserable Christians. So we do what miserable Christians do," he shrugged, tapping a pile of ash in the grass between them, "we stay miserably married." Sawyer 

He thought about Conor's thoughts on a poncho in a blood bath. "If only you knew. It's more helpful than you'd think." Pearl 

"Totally insensitive." Pearl replied while lighting up a cigarette for herself, she needed the relief after the night they'd all had. "Bradley got in trouble for exposing a body part again." Elizabeth 

Elizabeth made her way through the crowd of people, making her way toward Sawyer once more. "Everything alright?" she asked him. Sawyer 

"Of course, love." Sawyer smiled, patting the grass beside him for her to sit. "Meet my new friend..." Sawyer knew his name, it was on the tip of his tongue. "Typo. This is my friend Typo. No, I haven't fucked him. Not yet, at least." He shrugged, laughing at himself.

Bradley 

"I think I'm going to go," she came out with suddenly, pulling the blanket off her shoulders and passing it into whoever was closest's hands. "It's been... real." Killian 

Killian shook his head, pulling out a cigarette and lighting it up, taking a drag. He lifted a hand to wave her off. "Need a ride or something? I'm thinking about skipping out myself." Max 

"Oh... Fantastic," Max said, shaking his head. He wasn't at all surprised. Bradley 

Stubbing her cigarette out messily on a tree, Bradley pushed through the crowd without another word and started heading back towards the campus. Pearl 

"The walk will do her good," Pearl knew Bradley would much rather be alone and so she turned to Killian, "you can take me for a ride though." Alyssa

Alyssa watched as Bradley left, shaking her head some and sighing. "I'm gonna go make sure Wyatt isn't drunk and trying to drive home. Call me if anything else happens alright?" She says, squeezing Pearl's hand some. "And be careful," she warns before walking off. Elizabeth 

Elizabeth smiled, cringing at Pearl's suggestion to Killian. "She reminds me of Mary Magdalene." Sawyer 

Sawyer couldn't help but laugh at the comment, "She kind of is, actually." He looked at the girl, who was seemingly tipsy of the half a beer she'd sipped on earlier. "Do we need to get you home, Liz?"

Killian 

Killian couldn't help his little smirk, before he gives her a warmer look. "Maybe when you're not high, love," he says with a slight laugh, wrapping his arm around her shoulder. Pearl 

"Who the fuck is that? She sounds like a biscuit." The mere fact that Elizabeth was commenting on her at all made her gag. Conor

“Oh, really? Funny she still wants to be married” He raised an eyebrow, amused by the words and shaking his head “Divorce is always the solution, no matter how Christian you are.” “Conor. With a single N, that’s why he’s calling me Typo.” With a roll of his eyes, he offered his hand to the woman, tilting his head “And you are…?”

Elizabeth

"Probably," she admitted, narrowing her eyes at Pearl. "You look lovely tonight, Pearl. I don't think your eyes are too close together at all, I don't know what Sawyer was talking about. She narrowed her eyes at Conor's comment. "Well, I'm Elizabeth. And we don't need a divorce." Pearl 

"If a dear friend of mine hadn't already been singed tonight, I'd throw you onto that fucking bonfire. Don't talk to me." Pearl made a point to check her phone. "Anyway," she stared at Sawyer, "I'm going to go fuck Reid now, so, see you later I guess." Sawyer 

"We can see who's louder, seeing as Elizabeth will be there tonight." Sawyer shrugged. "She's a bit of a screamer." Conor

"Ah, you must be the wife he tried to kill" He smiled again, colder than before, repeating the joke Sawer had made "Sweetheart, all marriages end in divorce, face it." Killian

Killian rolled his eyes at the exchange. "Yeah, we're gonna keep you from that mistake. Come on," he muttered, rolling his eyes yet again at Sawyer's remark. "Pearl come on," he says, gently taking her wrist to begin leading her away. Sawyer

"Ours won't." Sawyer squeezed his wife's hand, a little harder than intended. "Till death do us part."

Elizabeth

Elizabeth winced, glancing to Conor. "What were you two talking about before I came over here?" she asked, a forced smile on her face. Pearl 

Pearl allowed herself to be steered away, choosing to flash a sickly sweet smile at Sawyer before she turned on her heel and headed back towards the campus with Killian. Conor 

Conor laughed, shaking his head "Alright, alright, whatever you say." He turned to look at Elizabeth, shrugging "Oh, nothing, nothing. Just a little bit of everything" Sawyer 

"The divorce papers you refused to sign." Sawyer shrugged, taking a hit off his barely-lit cigarette. He forgot it'd been sitting between his fingers the whole time. "Shit happens." He exhaled slowly, watching the smoke twist and spiral into the darkness. Elizabeth

"The part about you trying to kill me, Sawyer?" she asked, the smile still on her face, as if the picture was frozen in place but her voice was still audible. Sawyer 

"Why's that relevant? You're still here, aren't you?" He leaned forward, planting a kiss on her cheek. "And you will be until you've officially driven me crazy, my sweet."

The One Where Shit Hits the Fan ✐ Daisy & Audrey

SUMMARY → Daisy and Audrey, unaware Ward has been arrested,  go dress shopping for the wedding, the two eventually finding the perfect option. Spoiler; Daisy says yes to the dress. They once again have the feeling of being watched, and are ambushed  by Hydra while leaving the shop. The two put up a fight, but are ultimately captured and taken by Hydra. (We’re a mess guys. This family is a mess.)

Daisy: Daisy walked out of the dressing room, hair piled haphazardly on her head. The dress was too..princess. She felt like a cupcake. "I don't know sweetheart. At this rate i'm going to tell your dad that i'm getting married in jeans. I mean probably nice jeans but--none of these seem very me." The woman sighed, poking at the dozens of layers of tulle. Going dress shopping had sounded like an easy task, one that only Audrey had been willing to help her with. But now that they were here, it seemed impossible. How she'd found a dress the first time around was beyond her. Actually--Bobbi picked it, if she remembered correctly.

Audrey: Seeing her mother in such a poofy dress was certainly a surprise. It wasn't a bad dress in Audrey's opinion, but it just wasn't right. Neither was the dress before or the dress before that. "This one is nice, but I don't know either. You're right, it's not you at all." Bringing her hand up to her mouth, Audrey hummed and tried to come up with a way to help. "Maybe today just isn't the day? From what I've seen and read you should just know as soon as you put it on." Yes, she had been researching the art of wedding dress shopping. As soon as her mother asked her, Audrey felt like it was her job to be prepared. "Do you want to call it a day and come back another time? Maybe we can convince the others to come next time. That might help."

Daisy: She looked around for the woman who had helped her get the damned thing on, and found her nowhere in sight. Weird. "Maybe. There's one more that looked simpler. Less princess at least. I won't force the others to come though. This isn't Violet's thing and I think she was either with Avery or Robin. So it's just you and me. But I don't mind. I've missed spending time with you. I know since the party things have gotten a little crazy." Once behind the curtain once more, she managed to get herself out of the dress and attempted to put on the final one. One more try. "Any idea what color you want your dress to be?"

Audrey: "Less princess for sure. Maybe something that's more sleek and has subtle details? That way the focus is on you and not only the dress." Okay so maybe she watched too many episodes of those wedding dress shows. "I get what you mean though, Vi wouldn't go anywhere near this place. Robin might. But it's really up to you mom. This is mainly your thing. I'm glad that we got to do this though. Even if the party kinda got a little messy. It's a nice break and you deserve it, Mom." Audrey flashed her mother a smile before she disappeared behind the curtain. "Um, maybe red? Meg says that it's my color, but I haven't put much thought into it. I was gonna wait and see what your color scheme was."

Daisy: The last dress over her head after a few minutes, Daisy gasped softly. It was...this was it then. That stupid cheesy moment she'd thought wouldn't happen, had. a part of herself had assumed it wouldn't, maybe she'd missed her chance at a wedding and a marriage long ago. The dress was smaller in width, that was for sure. With small daises and a lace overlay (she tried to hide the snort at the irony and failed,) with a sweetheart neckline and a backless cutout. It was like her daughter had said--it felt right. She answered, though her voice was still caught a bit in her throat. She hadn't expected this. "Red would be good. A darker deeper one maybe. I don't need a color scheme, just as long as things vaguely match and no one is bloody or in hnadcuffs is all I care about." Pulling back the curtain, she stepped out once more, biting her lip. "Well- ?"

Audrey: "I think a darker red would look nice on everyone too." Audrey tried to imagine her father with a red tie, her other siblings in red. Thomas. Would he even be there? Thankfully her mother was still behind the curtain long enough to miss how Audrey's smile faltered for a moment. She wouldn't let herself think about sad things or worry. Today was supposed to be a happy time for her mother. However as soon as her mother stepped out from behind the curtain, Audrey didn't have to worry about how she would keep the smile on her face. She was rendered speechless for a moment, her grin stretching as she jumped up from the chair she had been sitting in. "I love it! Are those daisies?" A small giggle left her mouth as she moved closer to get a better look. "More importantly, what do you think? Do you love it?"

Daisy: She grinned, glancing down at he dress and brushing her fingers across it. "I do actually. A lot. I thought i'd end up settling for one that was the least cinderella but..I think this is the one." It was simple but pretty, plus Grant had mentioned wanting something backless. But she'd keep that to herself to spare her daughter that fact. "Amongst other flowers! But yes, they are. I'll never live it down." she turned to face the mirror, small smile still on her lips. "Well, guess we won't need another trip then. I'll find the saleswoman and let them know we found it"

Audrey: Her mother's reaction was enough to make Audrey's day. It was rare to see her mother like this,so she was relishing the moment. "If that's the case then I think you've found the one!" She couldn't keep herself from bouncing up and down in excitement. "The flowers are a nice touch. As long as you like it, then it doesn't matter how many people tease you. I'll give them the stink eye anyways." Audrey scrunched up her face in an attempt to look intimidating, but as usual, couldn't hold that face for long. "Okay! I'll grab your purse and stuff in the meantime."

Daisy: Daisy laughed, reaching over to press a kiss to her daughter's hair. "That's right, you'll make sure they shut up." Heading back into the dressing room, she slipped the dress off and onto the hanger, handing it to the attendant qho'd finally reappeared It was a new girl now, but maybe the other one had needed a break. Once she was redressed and the dress..somewhere, she searched for her daughter. With instructions of when to come in for her final fitting and her credit card on file, they could be on their way. Exiting the shop, she paused. The street had been bustling when they'd arrived and now it was far too still. Where had they all gone? "Audrey baby..stay behind me yeah?"

Audrey: When Daisy came back, Audrey moved to walk next to her towards the exit. She smiled back at the woman who had helped them, even though Audrey was sure she hadn't seen her when they first walked in. The lack of crowds and noise when they reached the exit hadn't struck as odd to her until her mother's command. "Okay. Is something wrong?" Her eyes started to dart around the street and surrounding area as she moved to stand behind her mother. Even the parking spots in front of the store were empty. Weird. "We should hurry back." But she wouldn't move until her mother did.

Daisy: "Yeah the car is just over-" men, in all black carrying serious weapons exited. This was what she'd feared. Maybe her daughters paranoia hadn't been so far fetched. "Shit--baby listen to me. You're gonna get out of here and you're gonna go find your dad. I'll hold them off to make sure you get out ok?" She had so much more to say but the men dove. Dodging the punch, she shot two-three blasts their way until they were nowhere near her daughter. Some of these faces...Hydra. It made no sense. But she chose to worry about that later. They were in bigger trouble than she anticipated. Fuck.

Audrey: Her chest suddenly constricted when she saw the men with weapons. It was like one of those stories she had heard from Grandma Melinda. The ones where bad things happened and she had to save the day. But Melinda May wasn't here right now. It was just her and her mom. Subconsciously she took a step back, her heart pounding in her chest and her entire body shaking with fear. Audrey barely registered the next words that came out of her mother's mouth. Something about her father, getting out of there, holding them off. Did her mother want her to just leave her there? No. She couldn't do that. "M-mom. No! I can't just-" her words were cut short when an arm snaked around her waist. She let out a yelp of surprise before bringing her elbow back with thankfully enough force to cause the man to let go. "I'm not leaving you." She shouted, not sure if her mother could even hear her.

Daisy: Daisy sent out another blast, spinning on her heels to face her daughter as she heard the scream. "Get OFF of her!" She shouted, hands flying out to send waves of energy into the ground, knowing her daughter would keep her footing. They'd trained her well. "I-'ll be okay, just go baby please! You're all I care about right now just run! I-'ll be--" She cut off, a stab of electricity to her side. Oh, so Hydra had new toys. A blow to her head had her reeling, falling to her knees. She shoved her hands into the ground, shaking it hard enough to rattle a city. How were these men still standing? "Take me, ok? Just let her go. She’s just a child!" She wouldn't let them take one of her kids from her. Not again.

Audrey: The shaking ground only caught her off guard for a split second. Her own powers and the training she went through made the action of bending her knees and relaxing herself automatic by now. The shouting of her mother was what caused her to whip her head around just in time to see her mother hit the floor. "Mom!" She all but screamed, her own arms flying up in an attempt to bring up some sort of rock shield around her mother's fallen figure. She had managed to get three of the four sides up before she felt a prick on her neck. Damn it. Why hadn't she noticed the man behind her?Didn't the shaking knock him down? Stomping down on the ground, Audrey brought up a small pillar of ground, enough to knock the man back. Her vision started to blur and her eyes started to feel heavy, but all she could think about what her mother. "Don't hurt her... Please." Why did every happy moment they have need to come to a screeching halt so soon?

Daisy: Her head was bleeding and her body trembling, but she fought. She was supposed to protect her children and if she was going down it would be with a fight. She threw blow after blow, dodging what she could but the electric probes still hitting her sides every few moments. One blast to the ground gave her a few moments to reach for her daughter, just in time to see her sway. "AUDREY!" She cried out, moving to dart in front of her. Staggering as her knees tried to give out. "What did you DO to her? What the hell did you do?!" Daisy yelled, curling her frame around her daughters. She wouldn't be able to get them back to the school, more men were piling from SUVS as she watched. Grant would find them, she had to have faith in that. "Please..take me. Let her go. Don''t do this. PLE--" One kick to her ribs, two more stabs of the probe. "It's gonna be okay baby. We'll get out of this somehow. I promise." She mumbled, pressing her lips to Audreys hair once more. As if by holding her she could shield her from the world. She felt the tip of a gun press against her neck. One final blast she sent out before they fired, the icer dropping her to the ground, blood beginning to pool from her wounds.

Audrey: Audrey felt her mother wrap her arms around her, heard her shouts and pleas, but there was nothing she could do about it. She placed her hand on the ground attempting to get her powers to work. Nothing. The familiar surge of power that she usual felt wasn't there. All she could do was try and kick out with her feet when the men came closer. For the first time in a long while anger surged through her when her mother was kicked repeatedly. Why did this have to happen today of all days? Her mother didn't deserve any of this. She tried to wriggle out of her mother's grip, to defend her, but she was only getting weaker.Audrey still managed to grab onto the mans pants, ripping off a piece of material in the process, only for her to be kicked as well. A metallic taste filled her mouth, causing her to gag and spit onto the floor. Blood? This was all wrong, so very wrong. There was no way they would be able to get out of this. No matter how strong her mother was.Still she had to tell herself that they would be okay. Someone would come for them. Dad, Violet, someone. She needed to believe in their family. At the sound of an icer firing and her mother going limp, that hope started to falter. Sounds started to blend together and she could no longer keep her eyes open. "Please." Was all she could whisper to the figure coming towards them before it all when dark.

Lilianna was wandering around the remnants of the party, picking up stray cans and bottles to recycle. Suddenly she spotted a familiar face. AJ was pissed drunk, tripping over himself and most of the people around him as he made his way towards the cooler that contained various drinks. He got distracted, however, at the sight of Lily being her usual angelic self. "Lil," He slurred happily. "Did you get your New Years kiss? Was Charlie just amazing?" He grinned, making his way over to her "AJ!" Her smile began bright, but faltered when she realized he was intoxicated. "I did, and from what I saw most people got one so I'm not that special. Did /you/ get one?" Lily's smile became more of a concerned smirk as he walked him drunkenly walk. "Several," AJ declared proudly, a smirk on his bright red lips. "But, you're the most special. You found love in a hopeless place!" He informed her with a laugh, clutching his stomach with how much he was cracking himself up. "Several? Well, uh, that's fun. Was one of them your soul mate by any chance?" She asked before her eyebrows knitted together. "How much have ya had ta drink exactly?" Lily's dark eyes narrowed slightly. "My soulmate?" AJ repeated, eyes bright as he looked around the room. "Is my soulmate here? You know who it is?" He asked, looking to her hopefully. "Oh you know, a drink here or there," He grinned, waving it off. "Three when I came in and then one for every kiss? I lost count. I think seven hundred. I like that number. What's your favorite number?" AJ smiled lazily, wrapping Lily into a hug, hanging off of her like a monkey. "Either way that's an awful lot," Lilianna glanced around them before looking back to AJ, wondering if he was the only one acting this odd."Oh my goodness- Okay AJ," Lily laughed nervously as she caught him hanging offer her like a child. "I think I need ta take ya back ta your house. I don't even think you'd make it back if ya tried." the brunette chucked as she hoisted his arm around her shoulder. "The party's not over yet," AJ whined, not one to be left out of an event like the one they were at. "It's so lonely at my place. There's no one to hang out with or cuddle or kisssss. It's New Years. I deserve kisses," He protested, pouting ridiculously as she began to readjust him. He was fed up with people trying to take away his kisses. "It may not be over but it's 2016 and don't ya want ta make it through this year just like last year?" Lily asked softly. "AJ you've gotten so many kisses tonight ya can't even count 'em. That many kisses'll last ya at least 24 hours, if not the entire year." AJ frowned at Lily's reasoning and sighed, burying his face in his own shoulder. "I don't wanna go home alone," He muttered, still acting like an absolute child, the smell of alcohol prominently stuck to his clothes. "I wanna stay and party. There's still music playing, Lily! It's not over!" "AJ," Lily's soft voice quieted slightly as she reasoned with him like the children she volunteered with. "Do ya really want ta stay here alone, or do ya want ta come back with me? I'll make ya deal- I'll stay and party with ya if ya promise you'll walk me back ta your apartment first." offering a small smile, she hoped that he'd pass out by the time they'd get back so she wouldn't have to stay with him. "You want to party at my apartment?" AJ beamed, brightening up at her suggestion because his apartment /would/ be a pretty fun place to have a party right now. "Okay! I don't think I have a lot to eat right now, though. Do you like apples? I always have apples. The green are my favorite," He rambled, completely ready for this new and improved party. Lilianna let out a relieved sigh. "Well I prefer apples over bananas if that's what ya mean. C'mon, let's get walkin' sir." She smiled as she moved slowly towards the barn door. AJ followed after Lily, glad that she'd made such a wonderful suggestion because his bed did sound super nice at the moment. "I can finally show you my pillows! Guess what color my pillows are," He encouraged, grinning at his friend. "I'll give you a hint. They're my absolute favorite color."

"Oh gosh, okay... are they... gold? Or maybe blue?" The brunette felt a twinge of guilt for not knowing what his favorite color was. "Did ya get 'em for Christmas?" Lily asked as she continued walking, trying to keep a smile on her face while darting her eyes around to make sure he wasn't about to run into anyone that would distract him. "Nope, neither of those!" AJ exclaimed, shaking his head as they continued to head towards the exit. "Nope, I've had them for forever. They're the best pillows ever. Lavender is the best color ever. Wanna know why it's the best color ever? Cause it's pretty, but not like in-your-face pretty, you know? Just a subtle pretty that not everyone appreciates. I want to fall in love with someone like that, I think. Someone who not everyone appreciates." "I'm sorry I didn't know that. But that is definately a 'you' color." The brunette nodded as she glanced both ways before crossing the path carefully in stride with AJ. "Honestly I don't think anyone's appreciated enough." Lilianna shrugged and tried not to crack a smile. "But it's duly noted you'd like a Lavender person. I will keep that in mind for when I spot 'em." AJ stumbled slightly, knocking his foot against something that nearly made him lose balance, but he quickly used Lily to help anchor himself. "Yay," He cheered when his friend saved him from falling. "I made a Match.com profile, did you hear?" He told her excitedly. "And I met this guy named Grizzly and he goes to our school! And he's really pretty. He's kind of grouchy, but he's super nice, I think," He rambled, pointing to a rock on the ground. "Wow! Look at that one. I've gotta add that to my collection."

Gasping as he tripped, Lily stopped and attempted to hold him up. After letting out a sigh of relief, she perked up. " Grizzly's on Match.com?" the girl muttered. "Ya met Bear! He's a very nice person once ya get past all his grumbles and all. Although I'm not sure he's very Lavender." Gazing down at the rock, Lily nodded with a confused smile. "Ya have a rock collection?" "He's not very lavender at all. Not a lot of people are," AJ hummed, trying to think of what color Grizzly might be. "I don't have one, but I /could/," He grinned, bending down to grab the peculiar looking rock. "I found an awesome one yesterday, but Nico really wanted it, so I let him have it," He informed his friend brightly, in spec'ing the rock once he picked it up. "Heyyy, I thought it was blue, but it's just regular gray." " I's say he's more of an Evergreen. Kinda scary and dark but nice when mixed with the right surroundings." Shrugging, the girl nearly let out a laugh when he mentioned his new collection but stopped herself. "So basically you're startin' off your New Years with a new rock collection. That's not the worst idea I've heard." she beamed. "Maybe ya could paint it blue?" Lily offered, immediately regretting giving him the idea. "He's all manly," AJ swooned, unsure if he was still talking about Grizzly or not. "What a good idea, Lily! I'll start a rock collection," He gasped. His friend was just so brilliant sometimes. "We should paint it lavender instead," He smiled lazily, turning the rock over in his hands. "Want to help me name it?" "Very much so. He likes the outdoors too." she nodded with a small smile, not sure where his statement was going. "Well you've gotta name it a very Lavender name," Lilianna insisted as she began walking again. "What does a lavender name sound like to ya?" "/I/ like the outdoors," AJ reminded her, wiggling his eyebrows cause they were definitely onto something. "Koby, of course," He answered as if it were absolutely obvious. "Hey, Lily," He began, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Do you think you and Charlie are gonna get married?" "Well then you two will live a very nice life in a cabin in the woods then." Lily smiled at him, nodding along as he spoke until he mentioned Charlie. Catching her throat, she stuttered. "Ah- um, Charlie has an awful long way ta go before even graduatin' so... I mean...I don't know. I'd like to. Eventually. I think that'd be nice. But it's not all my decision." the girl shrugged again as she watched AJ carefully. "Ya want ta know a secret? Ya can't tell anyone, not even Charlie." "No cabins in the woods," He crinkled his nose because he quite liked his apartment. "Is he going to be a fancy doctor? Did you know his dad's a doctor! He's gonna test my head to make sure I'm not stupid," He filled Lily in, trying to look up at his head. "I'm the best secret keeper in the world," AJ promised when the other brought it up. "Promise, promise, promise! What 's the secret?"

Lilianna tisked quietly, looking over at her friend. "AJ... you are not stupid. And I am very sure he is gonna make Charlie and I rest much easier knowin' that there's nothin' wrong with ya. We... just wanted ta check." She raised a singular dark brow. "Well if you're the best in the world..." Laughing quietly, she rubbed her arm from the cold. "It's not really that big of a deal. I just, uh, I think I'm love Charlie." "You guys worry more than my actual parents do," AJ sighed, wrapping his arm around Lily again so she could help him as they continued walking. He let out a laugh at the confession, rolling his eyes slightly. "Well, duh. I knew that already. You two are goals. Can you adopt me already?" He hummed, letting his eyes slip shut to keep the world from spinning too much. "Sorry, it's just something we both seem ta be rather good at. Hey! It's not funny. We've already adopted ya, didn't they tell ya?" Lilianna tightened her hold on AJ as she watched his eyes shut. "Yanno it's much easier ta walk when ya can see where you're goin'." the girl reminded carefully. ----- end
