stamina, inventory, + restart
I had this reply almost finished but then tumblr decided to delete it all and make me rage! Yes, I know I shouldn’t use this site for long drafts, but I guess... I like to live dangerously
stamina - Write about your muse’s daily routine!
Overhaul doesn’t have much of a proper daily routine. Oftentimes he can’t even keep up a proper sleeping schedule, much to his own annoyance. The reason lies in his line of work, as he needs to stay flexible to react to unpredictable events; Random gang disputes, Eri running away again, problems with his supply chains or heroes sticking their noses into his business.
Usually to run some sort of schedule he tries to get all Yakuza related business done in the morning and early afternoon, typically waking at around 6 to 7 am. Once all that is finished, Overhaul disappears in the laboratory to continue working on the quirk destroying drug. Regardless of whether or not things are going well, he has a tendency to get so invested in his research that Chrono has to keep watch over the hour, else Chisaki might as well work throughout the night without eating or noticing the time pass. ( To his credit, it is hard to keep track with no sunlight getting into the underground.... )
inventory - Write about your muse’s most prized possession, and whether they still have it or not.
There actually aren’t any items Chisaki keeps around for sentimental reasons. He also doesn’t quite understand why other people do it. To him possessions need to have a use, otherwise they have no justification being around. Anything else is just clutter that he will throw away or sell.
However, considering he treated him like one, it is fair to say that the former boss is Chisaki’s most prized possession. He feels highly in debt to the man and will do just about anything for him. That he wanted to revive the Yakuza in the first place was owed to his attachment to the boss. Nevertheless, his tendency to be a control freak who thinks he knows better than everyone else eventually took over. When he put Pops into a coma, to Overhaul it was sort of like turning off a device that’s acting out or that you don’t need for the moment, and storing it away for later.
Losing Pops to the heroes and ultimately disappointing the man with the failure of his plans was one of the major things that Chisaki kept thinking about while in Tartarus. As soon as he’s escaped finding the boss again is the first thing on his mind.
restart - Write about your muse’s regret and whether they would wish to go back and change it or not.
He frankly never has been the type to dwell on the past. Overhaul much prefers looking ahead and planning with where he was at, instead of looking back and wondering what could have been. That said it is also because Chisaki has a tendency to not blame himself whenever things go wrong.
Even when he was stuck in Tartarus, having lost everything he’s worked for, Overhaul still sought the blame in everyone around him rather than himself; in his subordinates who failed to hold back the heroes for long enough, or in Eri who repeatedly disobeyed him and even used her quirk to aid the heroes.
So in the end if he were to change anything, Chisaki would change the people he surrounded himself with and as for Eri, he would be much more cruel to her than before...
