So, what's your opinion on loriciferans?
they’re fascinating and wonderful but what sticks out to me is that out of all possible animals they must be the biggest pain in the ass to draw on our whole world, and yet several have done so
why would anybody do this to themselves
Can I refer to small carnivorans like cats and ferrets as "murder babies"?
I don’t know anybody who would stop you, mate.
"Ack! Dahlia! You've corrupted the cookies! I can't sell these now!" D: "I'll buy them." ·w· "You already ate half of them." >:( "I'll buy the rest." "I'm just gonna toss these in the fireplace and bake some fresh ones." >_> "What!? Nuuuuu! Cookies!" :'<
What's the deepest known hyperparasite hierarchy?
in animals, we’ve mostly only seen up to two levels, like how crabs can be infected by a parasitic barnacle, which reduces down to just a blob of flesh, but the parasitic barnacle can also be infected by a parasitic copepod that reduces down to a simple ball for a body
It’s mainly in plants and fungi that parasitism more often keeps going into three, four or five layers of parasite, probably because plants and fungi are longer lived organisms with slower metabolisms, I’d think, and form whole networks trading nutrients with one another! They’re just better able to sustain a parasite’s parasite’s parasite’s parasites without dying too quickly.
If the next couple of Skullitus skits keep up the trend, then he's off to a good start ticking off the check boxes on the Evil Overlord list. This makes Lord Skullitus scarier, because he's actually competent.
He’s actually just plain not evil at all, he’s just an actual good guy who does good helpful things and is loved by everybody
