The same untamed, warm and intense fire in her grey eyes, the same rebellious brown hair, the same wild and free wolf blood in her apparence, an atypical beauty with the same long-ish face but higher cheekbones inherited from the Tully side. She [Loli Bahia] could be the perfect Arya.

Favourite Arya ships?

1. gendrya

gendrya my beloved. this is such a sweet and beautiful ship. i’m a sucker for all the tropes and themes involved: princess and knight, lowborn/highborn, hidden identities, swanmaiden/wayland the smith, outlaws in the forest ect ect. we were served with a full course meal here. gendry was with arya all the way from king’s landing and knows and understands her better than most. gendry often takes her lead, complements her strengths and doesn’t shy away from her fierceness. he also isn’t scared to call her out when he’s unhappy about something she’s done. they are a team from the very start and can trust each other fully. even after he lost arya he somehow found a way to serve her undead mother. grrm gave them a song???? and a whole singer at their disposition so hopefully more are coming. and literally everyone in the brotherhood can tell something is going on lmao. their unequal ranks in society brings in real conflict and at the same time the injustices commoners suffer is a big theme in arya’s arc so i think it all fits neatly together. they’re also really funny together and bring some levity in otherwise incredibly dark chapters. grrm has said he is going to revisit them again so we know good things are coming. also gendry is my sweet cheese who deserves the world

2. jonrya

oops. jonrya is definitely one of the strongest bonds in the entire series. arya repeatedly wishes to find her way back to jon, never doubts his love and jon DIES partly because of his lunatic plan to rescue arya. grrm’s pen was on fire when he wrote i want my bride back three times. i have no idea what he intends to do about jonrya with him writing such heavy handed romantic undertones(?) so far along in the series if he’s completely scrapped them. and what in the hell was that varamyr chapter

3. nedrya

i think ned is a sweet boy and he’d probably be a good match for arya. they’re closer in age and it’s interesting that her father and his aunt may have been in love. i don’t care too much about nedrya because ned is not a very significant character but i think the ship is cute

anyways, i must confess that i've been thinking for a while if arya had to have a marriage like her parents (since she's a big fan of their love) the only person i can see her with in this scenario is ned dayne.

you know that the basics of nedcat are a political marriage in which the people involved didn't know each other beforehand, but they ended up falling in love all the same.

and we can't have that with jon, since, you know, they are each other's more important person, and we can't have that with gendry because they were friends once, so they knew each other.

and arya's friendship with ned was a lot more brief; if i remember correctly, arya was kidnapped by the hound the same chapter in which arya and ned talked with each other about jon or the chapter before that.

shy and courteous ned dayne and brave and compassionate arya stark together are a great concept.
