I guess her relationship with Theon is my favorite sibling dynamic, she's literally that big sister vibe herself

The Year is 2026, and people still believe that Sansa's end is to be Lady of Arryn
Guys, why do you think GRRM wrote that Sansa Stark was the one who witnessed the confession of Lysa Arryn about killing Jon Arryn, accusing the Lannisters, and betraying Catelyn and the Starks, for Littlefinger? Revealing that the one who caused every big incident was Petyr Baelish, if she is not supposed to resolve it? Bring justice to the one who caused the deaths of Ned, Cat, Robb, and everyone else?
GRRM already told us:
I dreamt a wolf howling in the rain, but no one heard his grief. I dreamt such a clangor I thought my head might burst, drums and horns and pipes and screams, but the saddest sound was the little bells. I dreamt of a maid at a feast with purple serpents in her hair, venom dripping from their fangs. And later I dreamt that maid again, slaying a savage giant in a castle built of snow.
"I dreamt a wolf howling in the rain, but no one heard his grief," Grey Wind.
"I dreamt such a clangor I thought my head might burst, drums and horns and pipes and screams," which meant the Red Wedding.
"but the saddest sound was the little bells," she meant Jinglebell.
"I dreamt of a maid" which is Sansa.
"at a feast" talking about the Purple Wedding.
"with purple serpents in her hair," she's talking about the Strangler, the poison used to kill Joffrey.
" And later I dreamt that maid again, slaying a savage giant in a castle built of snow," the savage giant is Petyr Baelish, and the castle is Winterfell.
Believing Sansa is not going to have a big part and remain in the Vale is just like the show did, making a few scenes about Jon being the son of Rhaegar and Lyanna, the legitimate son, and... then not doing anything.
You can make a movie with where the only white character is a man named Ray Cism whose one line of his 16 seconds of screen time is “I seriously hate women and minorities.” and you’ll find fifty bajillion reader x Ray Cism fanfics and renaissance style drawings of him with a halo of golden light
u people r not weird enough about jonsa. no i dont care about them being cute i need them to be freaks. sansa is searching for ned, robb, arya, even alayne in jon and jon sees catelyn, ygritte, and lyanna in sansa. do they want me or they want me to be somebody else. also jeyne was a fake so arya must be dead for real therefore the only sister jon has left is one who never even wanted him in the first place, why would she want this angry bitter undead version of him either. sansa is pretty weirded out too because her resemblance to catelyn, ygritte, robb, triggers jon in ungodly ways which reminds her of how littlefinger saw her and that’s gross. she wishes he had saved jeyne poole but all he cares about is arya. alayne understands her bastard brother intimately but sansa doesn’t know how to exist with this new version of jon snow. they don’t even know each other anymore they r ghosts and even when they did know each other it was only from a distance. so much guilt and yearning. tenderness too. they r trying to be ned and cat in order to hold the north and themselves together but they are not, no more than jon can be robb for sansa or sansa can be arya for jon. no matter how hard they try they can only ever be jon and sansa and that has never been enough for either of them.

I've been thinking a lot about how the Kingsguard is portrayed in fics and ig what it reveals about how the fandom views them. I think it's sort of fascinating, that people would like them to be just the coolest knights of the realm but as an institution they were designed to suck and it creates an interesting meta-textual tension.
There's always a desire to fix things to contend with but so much about Aerys's kingsguard especially is taken at face value. How many positive depictions of Oswell Whent are there, when his only appearance in the book is telling Jaime in a flashback that they aren't supposed to protect Rhaella? AUs love constructing perfect Kingsguards, often treating the entire thing very lightly, and not like a lifetime commitment that alienates them from their family and other people. For me the funniest pick, and the most telling, is always Blackfish, both bcs of an assumption that a gay man would really love a chastity vow, even tho he dodged marriage the regular way his entire life but also bcs in the books, he abandons his duty to fight for his family! The type of characters people want in the Kingsguard are, just like Jaime, unsuitable to be actual canon Kingsguards.
Jeyne Poole, lady bolton.
erling haaland - brienne is a pretty popular match from what i have seen (admittedly i have been thinking of that one for a loooong time even before the wc but never really got around to posting it)
My stocks are now on young neymar-theon.
Idk both have that cocky son of a bitch aura plus both are infamously physically and mentally broken down by the end.
yes im wilding. I have more asoiaf characters-footballers comparisons probably but not as striking as these two i would say
Ten Fierce Ravens, by Jonathan Burton, for The Folio Society’s illustrated collector’s edition of A Storm of Swords
“On my honor as a Tully,” she told Lord Walder, “on my honor as a Stark, I will trade your boy’s life for Robb’s. A son for a son.” Her hand shook so badly she was ringing Jinglebell’s head. Boom, the drum sounded, boom doom boom doom. The old man’s lips went in and out. The knife trembled in Catelyn’s hand, slippery with sweat. “A son for a son, heh,” he repeated. “But that’s a grandson… and he never was much use.” A man in dark armor and a pale pink cloak spotted with blood stepped up to Robb. “Jaime Lannister sends his regards.” He thrust his longsword through her son’s heart, and twisted. Robb had broken his word, but Catelyn kept hers. She tugged hard on Aegon’s hair and sawed at his neck until the blade grated on bone. Blood ran hot over her fingers. His little bells were ringing, ringing, ringing, and the drum went boom doom boom. Finally someone took the knife away from her. The tears burned like vinegar as they ran down her cheeks. Ten fierce ravens were raking her face with sharp talons and tearing off strips of flesh, leaving deep furrows that ran red with blood. She could taste it on her lips. It hurts so much, she thought. Our children, Ned, all our sweet babes. Rickon, Bran, Arya, Sansa, Robb… Robb… please, Ned, please, make it stop, make it stop hurting… The white tears and the red ones ran together until her face was torn and tattered, the face that Ned had loved. Catelyn Stark raised her hands and watched the blood run down her long fingers, over her wrists, beneath the sleeves of her gown. Slow red worms crawled along her arms and under her clothes. It tickles. That made her laugh until she screamed. “Mad,” someone said, “she’s lost her wits,” and someone else said, “Make an end,” and a hand grabbed her scalp just as she’d done with Jinglebell, and she thought, No, don’t, don’t cut my hair, Ned loves my hair. Then the steel was at her throat, and its bite was red and cold. –A Storm of Swords, Catelyn VII
