URGENT: I’m a mentally-ill trans girl in a shitty situation/on the verge of homelessness.

So, here’s the deal. My name’s Lydia, I’m a 25 year-old mentally-ill trans girl, and I haven’t been able to find a not-scammy job since October, so I’ve been functionally unemployed since then.

Bills are piling up, my phone’s about to be cut off by the end of the week, and my roommate is threatening to kick me out by Wednesday if I don’t come up with $700 in past-due rent before then.

My family either can’t/won’t help.

It’s been brutally-cold here, the lows in the area are forecast to be near/below 0°F/-18°C for the week, and I have nowhere else to go if I get kicked out.

All in all, I’m fucked if I can’t come up with that $700 before Wednesday, 1/3/18. 

I’m hoping to raise an additional $150 to cover my phone bill/late fees, but rent is top priority at the moment.

Looking for an apartment to rent in Brooklyn/Manhattan

Hi! My name is Eli and I’m an 18 (soon to be 19) year old trans guy. 

I’m currently living in Maryland, but I need to move back up to NYC to be closer to my extended family. However, I cannot move back in with my father as it was an abusive household. 

My friend (who’s also in a tricky situation) and I are trying to find a studio apartment, which has been hard because of how young we are. I’m currently unemployed, but I have savings to get me started, and I’ll be getting a job as soon as I can when I get to NYC! If anyone knows of any places/landlords that are renting studios at fairly reasonable prices (under 1500ish) and is willing to pass on the info, it would be greatly appreciated!
