We are two early twenties cis bi girls in Gunbarrel, in Boulder County CO. We have two upstairs bedrooms available at 550.00 a month, and can offer a crash situation on a short term basis. The house is within walking distance to the bus line, and is also a short 5-15 minute drive (depending on traffic) to Boulder proper. Have Room/Have Couch- [Ypsilanti, MI]

My name is Hawthorn. My friend and I are looking for a roommate to share our apartment in downtown Ypsilanti. We’re looking for someone to join us who will be respectful of others in the space, fairly quiet at home, and who is excited about social justice/activism/anti-oppression politics. Rent for the room is 320 plus electricity. We do also have a couch open for emergency situations and would be open to working something out for someone who either needed a temporary place to stay or was looking for a job and wanted to stay longer term.

Our apartment is a basement apartment (I think 5-7 stairs) in downtown Ypsi, 2 blocks from the library. The open bedroom is the biggest bedroom with the biggest window. It’s got a big closet and the best light in the apartment.

The apartment has laundry, lots of parking, and is literally steps from restaurants if you were into that. We don’t have any pets but there are plans for a potential cat in the future provided all the housemates are okay with that.

I’m 24, white, nonbinary, maybe agender queer witchy folk. I love camping and painting and cooking meals for my roommates. I spend a lot of time reading, trying to write poems, dreaming about being in the woods and getting a cat friend.

My roommate is a 26 yr old queer white trans guy. He likes gardening, knowing about herbs, doing diy stuff, helping people, and petting all the dogs.

At home we’re both pretty quiet, we check in before making loud noise because we’re both pretty anxious (We both have mental health experiences). We’re both sober so we don’t keep alcohol or non-prescribed drugs in the house. We eat freegan/vegan and like sharing food as a house but are open to other arrangements. The house needs to stay scent/synthetic chemical free due to allergies (including cigarettes, scented candles, incense, perfume, bleach, chemical cleaners, etc).

Seeking Roommate - Concord NH

I’m a single mom and the owner of an awesome huge Victorian house - it has four bedrooms, my daughter and I each have our own room and I rent the other two out to help make ends meet. (Think somewhere between an intentional community and a boarding house.) I found two of my current roommates via a previous post here a few months ago - they’re great, a young couple who share a room - and the fourth bedroom will be available starting in October. I’m willing to consider either one person or a couple.

It’s $500 a month (and I’m willing to barter part of that for evening childcare - which basically just involves being somewhere in the house and keeping an ear out after my daughter goes to bed, she’s very self-sufficient and a heavy sleeper - or help with renovations, if either of those things are in your skillset) which includes all utilities and a professional cleaning crew for the common areas of the house every other week. It’s a nice-sized room on the second floor, lots of natural light, and you’d also have full use of all the common areas - big well-equipped kitchen with two refrigerators and a chest freezer, dining room/music room with a 1904 Steinway piano, living room, and two bathrooms, one with an amazing huge clawfoot tub. There’s a back yard with a spiral meditation garden and some fruit trees.

The biggest downside to the house is that it’s not wheelchair accessible. There are five steps to get into the house and the bedrooms are up a flight of 14 steps. I do make my daughter and her friends keep the halls and common areas free of toys and clutter though, since two of us have mobility issues.

I prefer a six or twelve month lease but I’d consider a shorter term arrangement as well. I’m very quiet, introverted, respectful,work long hours (at home - I run a web-based business) and live with chronic pain and atypical migraines; my other two housemates are even quieter than I am, one works and goes to school and the other is disabled. All of us are dedicated to maintaining safe space and making the house a peaceful refuge where people are accepted for who they are.

I’m sexwork-accepting (totally fine with quiet cam/phone/etc work in the house, not okay with people who don’t live here coming into the house in person) and have no issue with non-combusted medicinal cannabis but absolutely no smoking of any substances or any recreational drug use or partying. BDSM and polyamory friendly but please don’t tie anybody up in the living room or leave your toys in the bathtub; what you do in your bedroom with other consenting adults is your business!

Hey, I’m an AMAB genderqueer ace person (currently presenting pretty masculine and not really out to most people, I totally understand if that makes people uncomfortable).

I have a couch and a comfy chair that collapses into a bed, if you need somewhere to stay short term (2-3 days) you could crash on either of these.  The couch stays in an open, common living room area.  The chair is normally down there but if you would prefer we could move it up into my room, whichever is more comfortable for you.

I do live with one other person (cis/het female as far as I know) and a mini eskimo dog.  The dog is usually around and very friendly.

I also have a couple of rooms open for sublet in the house currently (but hopefully not for long), if anyone is looking for a more traditional/longterm living situation (rent would be around $400 + roughly $100 for utilities).

The house is in Greenfield, the 58 stops right out front and it’s a very short walk from Squirrel Hill.

Trans* woman 20 years old, student, toronto/GTA

Title says it all. I’m 20 years old, a student, and I will need somewhere to live in September and during the school year after the friend I’m living with goes out of town to go back to university. 

I will have some money saved up from my summer job and will be looking for a part-time work near where ever I end up living so I should be able to pay for rent/utilities provided they’re not too expensive haha.
