The road to Vallaki continued to go pretty well and our party made it with some interesting instances along the way.
- Illya the Raven caught the attention of the Needle Blights before they saw the party and drew them off.
- Attempting to be hospitable Pazuzu offers some wolf meat (we have a lot from killing a large pack previously) to some passing travelers who look a lil rough - one spirit of the staircase later and he realizes they were werewolves and that may have been a bit rude (still, they left us be.)
- A nameless revenant thankfully decided we were not part of it’s many centuries-long vengeance spree. We named him Steve and decided he’s out for vengeance for the death of his dogs at the hands of a pack of wolves - the wolves are never ending and so is his vengeance, clearly. This is Steve Wick.
- Pazuzu is fascinated with Steve Wick and tries to be buddies with him when his Iron Gaurdian spotted him on his nightly patrol. It goes about as well as expected (Steve does not care, Pazuzu has a man-crush.)
- Vol, pot, kettle, black (it rained and the fish and frog like it a lot.)
- Morning Lord morning duties with Irina and Mortimer. Irina is not a morning person but she’s doing her best before coffee.
- Vol finds a shiny trinket.
- Vol immediately gives it to Milan because Milan is good with that kind of thing (it’s some sort of silver wolf whistle - we don’t know what it does yet, if anything. Pazuzu wanted to blow it but has no lips to try. He threatened to stick it in one of his nares.)
- Izel’s big raven shows up AGAIN and brought friends. We’re calling it Cheese the Raven. They still like cheese.
- We make it into Vallaki and there are some SERIOUS wicker man/middsummer vibes goin’ on. Osry hasn’t been to town in a hot minute and boy, things change sometimes.
Bonus, some studies of Milan to try to get his Witch’s Tun (horns, but not horns) right:
Finally got around to doing a Needle Blight paper miniature (and it’s VTT files) which you can snag from my website catalog here, Blight - Needle - 01 As always if you dig my work, want to support it, and/or just wanna get access to variant files, alternate color options, and other goodies you can check out my Patreon here: https://www.patreon.com/PrintableHeroes

Needle Blight - Inktober 9
For the time being probably my last inktober drawing, since the other inking is not yet to be published! Enjoyed this one the most. It shows a D&D needleblight, a kind of plant, that can shoot needles. When sensing danger, it summons all its other needle blight friends. There are other blights, that sound a lot of fun to draw as well.
You’re free to use that drawing for any non-commercial D&D project.
