We officially hit 1300 masks made since April 9th. . Today is construction day, last night I cut 7x7 and 8x8 square for 6 hours, but first I prewashed all the fabric in ALL Free and Clear (I don't want anyone getting hives from detergent) then I iron it. Knce that is done, prep the elastic and cut 13" and 11" elastic for 2.5 hours.. made these "sandwiches of the fabric so I can easily pull a pack and sew together, then they all get flipped (you can see further in the back) then I press them all and "hem" them at the top and bottom, trim all of those threads, then they get their pleats and then I sew those down. Trim all the little threads again. A batch of 100 masks takes almost 3 days of working 9+hours per day ♡ these are a labor of love.
