I thread 4 needles when I'm hand sewing so that when I'm in a groove and run out of thread I can just pick up another needle and keep going. I don't need pins for paper piecing. that's why I have 4 needles and nothing else in my pincushion which is just background info for why I'm sharing this picture of my pincushion pretending to be a four-legged creature

Idk if anyone else did this. But those who have made a senator gown of Leia cosplay, the slits on the skirt. Button hole the V (the beginning where the slits are. I know the skirt isn't gonna run into a lot of stress on its own- but factor in wearing boots stomping on the hem and it will. <3
