Still not convinced...
Hey guys,
It's been about a week since the pic of Suki walking Charlotte surfaced. Media reports they're still an item. Quite frankly, I'm not convinced this is true. The theorist in me thinks she flew to L.A in an attempt to reconcile with him. Who knows if he was even home when she did that. Anyways, time will tell if their "love" will endure. Tick Tock. Tick Tock.
Okay, so I doubt that anyone other than my one follower will read this, But this whole thing with Nico possibly being gay... I read the excerpt and it seemed like it was written in Rick Riordan' style, but maybe a little too well. It used a simile from The Mark of Athena, and to the best of my knowledge, Rick has never used a simile more than once before. Not to mention that no one has posted anywhere a link to the actual original site where this excerpt was posted. There is no real proof that any of it is true.
Also, Rick has always been really, really careful about not saying anything that could possibly get into the realm of something controversial. I mean, like, last week or something, someone asked him what religion he was, I think, and he wouldn't say. I find it hard to believe that he would just suddenly say, "Oh, by the way, Nico is gay."
Not to mention, I'm pretty sure that Nico actually likes Annabeth. Hello, he does pretty much anything she wants him to. The Battle of the Labyrinth, pg. 321. Look it up.
Also, it would be nice if there weren't any of that in HoO. Apart from most major series, I've been finding a lot of books that have gay characters in them, and... maybe I'm old-fashioned, I would really like a clean book. No language, no sex, no nothing. Just adventure and clean romance.
