yeah so if y’all couldn’t tell I’m head over heels in love with this new book I got at Pride called Carry On (the second one is called Wayward Son and it makes me want to scream every time I think about it /pos) by Rainbow Rowell. It’s a very good book that is gay and beautiful and it makes me so so happy. my scars are healing and my soul is light

eventually I will make my way to a bookstore and get the second book (and third, just found out there’s a third) but for now there are twice as many suns for me to crash into as usual

yesterday was so fucking awful. i hate that i spent time in a queue to get to a sold out show. i’m pissed off at ticketmaster and i’m honestly annoyed at the marketing team for this whole thing. why was verified fan being promoted in literal commercial ads? that defeats the whole purpose of presale for actual fans. like. i was so excited and looking forward to getting tickets and then after 6 fucking hours i get to a sold out show. you knew how many codes you gave out. you knew how many shows it was for. not only that, you knew how many seats were available and specifically said that each code can have 6 tickets. so PLEASE, pray tell, why i was given an email, and a code, and after spending a day in as queue brought to a show that had *zero* tickets? why was i in a line for 6 fucking hours if you knew that? i am not one to be vengeful but i truly hope someone loses their job. this is a colossal fuckup on their part. and then there are articles about how fans did this? it’s your literal job to sell tickets like you have an actual monopoly on this and somehow can’t manage to keep up with the fanbase of one (1) artist please: how do you fuck that up, and then turn around and say that it’s your (forced) customers fault? the fuck did i do other than FOLLOW DIRECTIONS to get a code that didn’t mean anything? i’m just so annoyed by everything. i don’t even want to be excited about the potential of a capital one sale today

Hi @rainbowrowell so I just want to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE both Simon Snow stories so much! I have to say I am really happy to see how much Simon's narrative voice has evolved from the trilogy. He sounded and acted like the Simon I've always known but more at peace and sure of himself. It's amazing to see how far he's come in 6 months and I am so happy for him! ( I will say I am so glad he was discouraged from joining the London Police, he probably thought he'd be like John McClane from Die Hard but no Simon NO.)

And I am so obsessed with MRB!!!!! Simon and the gang are so charming and fun I am so in love with them all, I loved seeing Simon showing some expertise and getting some insights about MRB Simons past. It was so good!!!!!!
