Yall already know how i feel about this man the loml and i really had baby fever today as well so writing this made me hella soft!!

WE all know this man is gonna be an amaziinnggg father like i really feel like he loves kids
SO that being said when he notices a lil cute bald baby staring at him while he’s out with his S/O i can see him being totally infatuated with them
This baby is just doing its thing but just locks eyes with him and stays that way for a hell of a long time i'm talking death stares ya know
Daichi at first just looks into their eyes and smiles softly did he just fall in love who knows
After a while he probably starts pulling faces at this kid to get a reaction seeing as though they won’t stop staring
DEFINITELY PLAYS ‘PEEK A BOO’ WITH THEM FROM ACROSS THE ROOM JUST TO GET A SMILE FROM THEM

Sitting at a quaint table in a popular restaurant, this is the first time you and Daichi have been able to go out as a couple in a long time. Him always being busy on the force and you constantly being in the office, it was definitely hard.
However you had both managed to get the evening off and therefore a date was in order!! The table chosen was at the less busy end of the restaurant, only a couple of smaller families were situated around you.
So you were surprised to say the least when Daichi’s attention was suddenly not on you but on something behind you. At first he just kept looking slightly over your shoulder, a soft smile plastered on his lips.
But as the date went on he started to occasionally pull a funny face, and play what looked like ‘peek a boo’.
‘You’re looking at a baby aren’t you?’ You laughed slightly through the bites of your food.
‘What? No…’ He chuckled as his gaze shifted back over your shoulder again.
‘You were literally playing ‘peek a boo’ like a minute ago babe i’m not blind. Is the baby cute?’ You asked, your eyes softening at the thought of a little bundle of joy.
All he could do was nod as he pulled another silly face towards the baby. As you watched him throughout that night you realised how amazing he would be as a father and how lucky your future kids were going to be.
